Judges Chapter 17 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] there was [G1096] a man of [G1537] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Ephraim, and [G2532] name [G3686] of him [G1473] [was] Micah.
2: And [G2532] he said [G2036] [to the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473], the [G3588] thousand [G5507] and [G2532] hundred [G1540] [pieces] of silver the [G3588] seized from [G4815] you [G1473], and [G2532] you adjured [G1844] and [G2532] said [it [G2036] in [G1722] the [G3588] my ears [G3775][G1473] -- look [G2400], the [G3588] silver is with [G3844] me [G1473], I [G1473] took [G2983] it [G1473]. And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473], Being blessed [is [G2127] the [G3588] my son [G5207][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
3: And [G2532] he gave back the [G3588] thousand [G5507] and [G2532] hundred [G1540] the [G3588] [pieces] of silver [to the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473]. And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473], By sanctification , I sanctified the [G3588] silver to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] out of [G1537] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473] alone [G2596][G3441], the [G3588] to make [G4160] a carving and [G2532] molten [image , and [G2532] now [G3568] I will give it back [G1473] to you [G1473].
4: And [G2532] he gave back the [G3588] silver to the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473]. Then [G2532] took [G2983] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] two hundred [G1250] of the [G3588] [pieces] of silver , and [G2532] gave [G1325] [them [G1473] to the [G3588] smelterer . And [G2532] he made [G4160] it [G1473] [into] a carving and [G2532] molten [image . And [G2532] it was [G1096] in [G1722] house [G3624] of Micah.
5: And [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Micah was to him [G1473] house [G3624] of God '[G2316]. And [G2532] he made [G4160] an ephod and [G2532] teraphim . And [G2532] he filled up [G1705] the [G3588] hand [G5495] of one [G1520] of the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], and [G2532] he became [G1096] to him [G1473] for [G1519] a priest [G2409].
6: In [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565] there was not [G3756] a king in [G1722] Israel; a man the [G3588] upright in [G1722] his [own] eyes [G3788][G1473] did [G4160].
7: And [G2532] there was [G1096] a young man [G3808] from out of [G1537] Beth-lehem Judah from [G1537] the [G3588] kin [G4772] of Judah, and [G2532] he [was [G1473] a Levite, and [G2532] he [G1473] sojourned [G3939] there [G1563].
8: And [G2532] went [G4198] the [G3588] man from [G1537] the [G3588] city [G4172] of Beth-lehem Judah to sojourn [G3939] where [G3739] ever he should find [G2147]. And [G2532] he came [G2064] unto [G2193] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Ephraim, and [G2532] unto [G2193] house [G3624] of Micah, the [G3588] making [G4160] his way [G3598][G1473].
9: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Micah], From what place [G4159] come you [G2064]? And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], a Levite I [G1473] am from [G1537] Beth-lehem Judah, and [G2532] I [G1473] go [G4198] to sojourn [G3939] where [G3739] ever I should find [G2147].
10: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Micah], Sit down [G2521] with [G3326] me [G1473], and [G2532] become [G1096] to me [G1473] as [G1519] a father [G3962] and [G2532] as [G1519] priest [G2409], and [G2532] I [G1473] will give [G1325] to you [G1473] ten [G1176] silver [pieces for [G1519] days [G2250], and [G2532] a pair [G2201] of clothes [G2440], and [G2532] the [things] [G3588] for [G4314] your [means of] life [G2222][G1473].
11: And [G2532] went [G4198] the [G3588] Levite], and [G2532] he began to sojourn [G3939] by [G3844] the [G3588] man . And [G2532] became [G1096] the [G3588] young man [G3808] to him [G1473] as [G5613] one [G1520] off his sons [G5207][G1473].
12: And [G2532] Micah filled up [G1705] the [G3588] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] Levite, and [G2532] became [G1096] to him [G1473] the [G3588] young man [G3808] for [G1519] a priest [G2409], and [G2532] he was in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Micah.
13: And [G2532] Micah said [G2036], Now [G3568] I know [G1097] that [G3754] did good to me [G1473] Boss '[G2962], for [G3754] became [G1096] to me [G1473] the [G3588] Levite] for [G1519] a priest [G2409].
