Ezekiel Chapter 18 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] came [G1096] word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004],
2: O son [G5207] of man , What [G5100] to you [G1473] [is the [G3588] this paralell '[G3850][G3778] concerning [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] Israel, saying [G3004], the [G3588] fathers [G3962] ate [G2068] an unripe grape , and [G2532] the [G3588] teeth the [G3588] of the [G3588] children [G5043] have a toothache ?
3: [As] I live [G2198][G1473], says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962], will [G1437] still be [G1096][G2089] saying [G3004] of the [G3588] this paralell '[G3850][G3778] in [G1722] the [G3588] Israel?
4: For [G3754] all [G3956] the [G3588] souls [G5590] are mine [G1699]; in which [G3739] manner [G5158] the [G3588] soul [G5590] of the [G3588] father [G3962], also [G2532] the [G3588] soul [G5590] of the [G3588] son [G5207]; they are mine [G1699]. the [G3588] soul [G5590] the [G3588] sinning , this one [G3778] will die .
5: But the [G3588][G1161] man who [G3739] will be just [G1342], the [G3588] [one] executing [G4160] equity [G2917] and [G2532] righteousness [G1343],
6: upon [G1909] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] he will not [G3756] eat [to idols [G2068], and [G2532] the [G3588] his eyes [G3788][G1473] in no way will be lifted up [G1869] to [G4314] the [G3588] thoughts of house [G3624] of Israel; and [G2532] the [G3588] wife [G1135] of the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473] in no way will he defile [G3392], and [G2532] to [G4314] wife [G1135] in [G1722] menstruation being he will not [G3756] draw near [G4331],
7: and [G2532] a man in no way will he tyrannize over [G2616], and [G2532] collateral taken as a pledge being owed [G3784] he will give back , and [G2532] things for seizure he will not [G3756] seize by force, [and the [G3588] his bread [G1473] to the [G3588] [one] hungering [G3983] he will give [G1325], and [G2532] naked [G1131] he will cover [G4016] with a garment [G2440];
8: the [G3588] his money [G1473] with [G1909] interest [G5110] he will not [G3756] give [G1325], and [G2532] by usury will not [G3756] take [money [G2983]; from injustice he will turn the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473]; judgment [G2917] a just [G1342] he will execute [G4160] between a man and [G2532] the [G3588] neighbor [G4139] of him [G1473];
9: and [G2532] by [G1722] the [G3588] orders of me [G1473] he will go [G4198], and [G2532] the [G3588] my ordinances [G1345][G1473] will guard [G5442] the [G3588] to do [G4160] them [G1473] -- just [G1342] this one [G3778] is ; to life [G2222] he will live [G2198], says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962].
10: And [G2532] if [G1437] he engenders [G1080] son [G5207] a mischievous [G3061], one pouring out [G1632] blood and [G2532] committing [G4160] sins, [and
11: in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598] the [G3588] father [G3962] of of him '[G1473] the [G3588] just [G1342] he went not [G3756][G4198], but also [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] he ate [to idols [G2068], and [G2532] the [G3588] wife [G1135] of the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473] he defiled [G3392],
12: and [G2532] ones begging [G4434] and [G2532] needy [ones [G3993] tyrannized over [G2616], and [G2532] seized by force , and [G2532] collateral taken as a pledge did not [G3756] give back , and [G2532] for [G1519] the [G3588] idols [G1497] put [G5087] the [G3588] his eyes [G3788][G1473] lawlessness to do [G4160],
13: and with [G3326] interest [G5110] gave [a thing [G1325], and [G2532] by usury took [G2983]; this one [G3778] to life [G2222] will not [G3756] live [G2198]; all [G3956] the [G3588]se lawless deeds [G3778] he did [G4160]; unto death [G2288] he will be put to death [G2289]; the [G3588] blood of him [G1473] upon [G1909] him [G1473] will be .
14: And if [G1437][G1161] he should engender [G1080] a son [G5207], and [G2532] he should look [at] [G1492] all [G3956] the [G3588] sins of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] which [G3739] he did [G4160], and [G2532] should fear [G5399] and [G2532] should not [G3361] do [G4160] according to [G2596] these [G3778],
15: upon [G1909] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] [and] has not [G3756] eaten , and [G2532] the [G3588] his eyes [G3788][G1473] put not [G3756][G5087] onto [G1519] the [G3588] thoughts of house [G3624] of Israel, and [G2532] the [G3588] wife [G1135] of the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473] defiled not [G3756][G3392],
16: and [G2532] a man tyrannized not over [G3756][G2616], and [G2532] took not collateral [G3756] for security , and [G2532] by seizure seized not by force [G3756]; the [G3588] his bread [G1473] to hungry [G3983] [but] gave [G1325], and [G2532] naked [G1131] covered [G4016] with a garment [G2440],
17: and [G2532] from injustice turned the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473], interest [G5110] and [G2532] usury [and] did not [G3756] take [money from [G2983], righteousness [G1343] [and] executed [G4160], and [G2532] by [G1722] the [G3588] orders of me [G1473] went [G4198]; he will not [G3756] come to an end [G5053] by [G1722] the [G3588] iniquities of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]; to life [G2222] he will live [G2198].
18: the [G3588] But [if [G1161] his father [G3962][G1473] by affliction [G2347] afflicted [G2346], and [G2532] by seizure seized by force , and [G2532] contrary [G1727] did [G4160] in [G1722] midst [G3319] the [G3588] people [G2992] of him [G1473], then [G2532] he will die in [G1722] the [G3588] his iniquity [G1473].
19: And [G2532] you will say [G2046], Why [G5100] [is it] that [G3754] does not take [G3756][G2983] the [G3588] son [G5207] the [G3588] iniquity of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]? Because [G3754] the [G3588] son [G5207] equity [G2917] and [G2532] righteousness [G1343] and [G2532] compassion [G1656] has done [G4160]. All [G3956] the [G3588] my laws [G1473] he preserved [G4933], and [G2532] he did [G4160] them [G1473]; to life [G2222] he will live [G2198].
20: But the [G3588][G1161] soul [G5590] the [G3588] sinning , it [G1473] will die . And the [G3588][G1161] son [G5207] will not take [G3756][G2983] the [G3588] iniquity of the [G3588] father [G3962]. And [G2532] the [G3588] father [G3962] will not take [G3756][G2983] the [G3588] iniquity of the [G3588] son [G5207]. righteousness [G1343] of just one [G1342] upon [G1909] him [G1473] will be , and [G2532] lawlessness of lawless one upon [G1909] him [G1473] will be .
21: And [G2532] the [G3588] lawless one , if [G1437] he should turn [G1994] from [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] his lawless deeds [G1473] which [G3739] he did [G4160], and [G2532] should keep [G5442] all [G3956] the [G3588] my commandments [G1785][G1473], and [G2532] should do [G4160] equity [G2917] and [G2532] righteousness [G1343] and [G2532] compassion [G1656]; to life [G2222] he will live [G2198], and [G2532] he will not [G3756] die .
22: All [G3956] of the [G3588] his transgressions [G3900][G1473], as many as [G3745] he did [G4160], they will not be remembered [G3756][G3403] to him [G1473]; in [G1722] the [G3588] his righteousness [G1343] which [G3739] he did [G4160] he will live [G2198].
23: By [G3361] volition [G2308] do I want [G2309] the [G3588] death [G2288] of the [G3588] lawless one , says [G3004] Adonai BOSS? [No,[G2962] [But] as [G5613] the [G3588] to turn him [G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588] way [G3598] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] evil [G4190] and [G2532] to enliven [G2198] him [G1473].
24: But in [G1722][G1161] the [G3588] turning just [G1342] from the [G3588] his righteousness [G1343][G1473], and [G2532] he should commit [G4160] iniquity , according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] iniquities which [G3739] did [G4160] the [G3588] lawless one ; if [G1437] he should do [thus [G4160], he will not live [G3756][G2198]. In all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] of his righteousness [G1343][G1473], which [G3739] he did [G4160], in no way will they be remembered [G3403]; in [G1722] the [G3588] his transgression [G3900][G1473] in which [G3739] he fell [G3895], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his sins in which [G3739] he sinned , in [G1722] them [G1473] he will die .
25: And [G2532] you said [G2036], is not straight [G3756][G2720] the [G3588] way [G3598] [of the] Boss '[G2962]. Hear indeed [G1211] house [G3624] of Israel! Is [G3361] the [G3588] my way [G3598][G1473] not [G3756] straight [G2720]? Is it [G3780] the [G3588] [that] your ways [G3598][G1473] [are] straight [G2720]?
26: In [G1722] the [G3588] turning of the [G3588] just [G1342] from the [G3588] his righteousness [G1343][G1473], and [G2532] he should commit [G4160] transgression [G3900], and [G2532] he should die in [G1722] the [G3588] transgression [G3900] which [G3739] he did [G4160]; in [G1722] it [G1473] he will die .
27: And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] turning lawless one from the [G3588] his lawlessness [G1473] which [G3739] he did [G4160], and [G2532] he will act with [G4160] equity [G2917] and [G2532] righteousness [G1343], this one [G3778] the [G3588] his soul [G5590][G1473] kept [G5442].
28: For [G2532] he saw [G1492] and [G2532] turned from all [G3956] the [G3588] his impiety [G1473] which [G3739] he did [G4160]; to life [G2222] he will live [G2198], in no way will he die .
29: And [G2532] says [G3004] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] Israel], [is] not [G3756] straight the [G3588] way [G3598] [of the] Boss '[G2962]. Is [G3361] the [G3588] my way [G3598][G1473] not [G3756] straight , O house [G3624] of Israel? Is it [G3780] the [G3588] way [G3598] of you [G1473] [that is] not [G3756] straight ?
30: Therefore [G1223][G3778] each [G1538] according to [G2596] the [G3588] his way [G3598][G1473] I will judge [G2919] you [G1473], O house [G3624] of Israel, says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962]. Be restored [G1994] and [G2532] turn from [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] your impiety [G1473], and [G2532] will not be [G3756] to you [G1473][G1519] punishment [G2851] of iniquity !
31: Throw away from yourself [G1438] all [G3956] the [G3588] your impiety [G1473] which [G3739] you were impious against [G1519] me [G1473], and [G2532] make [G4160] to yourself [G1438] heart [G2588] a new [G2537] and [G2532] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] a new [G2537]! And [G2532] why [G2444] do you die , O house [G3624] of Israel?
32: For [G1360] I do not want [G3756][G1014] the [G3588] death [G2288] of the [G3588] [one] dying , says [G3004] Adonai Boss '[G2962]. Return [G1994] then [G3767]! and [G2532] you will live [G2198].
