Matthew Chapter 9 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] stepping [G1684] into [G1519] the [G3588] boat [G4143], he passed through [G1276], and [G2532] came [G2064] unto [G1519] the [G3588] his own [G2398] city [G4172].
2: And [G2532] look [G2400], they brought [G4374] to him [G1473] a paralytic [G3885] upon [G1909] a bed [G2825] lying . And [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) looking [at] [G1492] the [G3588]the [G3588]ir trust '[G4102][G1473], said [G2036] to the [G3588] paralytic [G3885], Courage [G2293] child [G5043]! have been forgiven you [G1473] the [G3588] sins your [G1473]!
3: And [G2532] look [G2400], some [G5100] of the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613]) said [G2036] to [G1722] themselves [G1438], This one [G3778] blasphemes .
4: And [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) knowing [G1492] the [G3588]the [G3588]ir thinking [G1761][G1473], said [G2036], Why [G2444] do you [G1473] ponder [G1760] wicked [things] [G4190] in [G1722] the [G3588] your hearts [G2588][G1473]?
5: For what [G5100][G1063] is easier [G2123], to say [G2036], have been forgiven you [G1473] the [G3588] sins ; or [G2228] to say [G2036], Arise [G1453] and [G2532] walk [G4043]!
6: But so that [G2443][G1161] you should know [G1492] that [G3754] authority [G1849] has [G2192] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man over [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] to forgive sins -- then [G5119] he says [G3004] to the [G3588] paralytic [G3885], Having arisen [G1453], lift up your [G1473] the [G3588] bed [G2825], and [G2532] go [G5217] unto [G1519] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473]!
7: And [G2532] having arisen [G1453], he went forth unto [G1519] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473].
8: having seen [G1492] And [G1161] the [G3588] crowds [G3793] marveled [G2296], and [G2532] they glorified [G1392] the [G3588] God '[G2316], the [G3588] [one] giving [G1325] authority [G1849] such [G5108] the [G3588] to men .
9: And [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) passing by [G3855] the [G3588]re [G1564] looked [at] [G1492] a man sitting down [G2521] at [G1909] the [G3588] tax collector's station [G5058], being called Matthew [G3004]. And [G2532] he says [G3004] to him [G1473], Follow me [G1473]! And [G2532] having arisen , he followed him [G1473].
10: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] of of him '[G1473] reclining in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3614]. And [G2532] look [G2400], many [G4183] tax collectors [G5057] and [G2532] sinners having come [G2064] were reclining together with [G4873] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) and [G2532] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him [G1473].
11: And [G2532] the Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]) seeing [G1492] the [G3588], said [G2036] [to the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473], Why [G1302] with [G3326] the [G3588] tax collectors [G5057] and [G2532] sinners does eat [G2068] the [G3588] Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38] your [G1473]?
12: the [G3588] And [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) having heard , said [G2036] to them [G1473], no [G3756] need [G5532] have [G2192] the [G3588] [ones] being strong [G2480] of a physician [G2395], but the [G3588] [ones] illnesses [G2560] having] [do [G2192].
13: But having gone [G4198][G1161] learn [G3129] what [G5100] it is [said , compassion [G1656] I want [G2309], and [G2532] not [G3756] sacrifice [G2378]! not [G3756] For not [G1063] I came [G2064] to call [G2564] righteous [G1342], but sinners unto [G1519] repentance [G3341].
14: Then [G5119] came forward [G4334] to him [G1473] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of John, saying [G3004], Why [G1302] do we [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]) fast [G3522] much [G4183], the [G3588] but [G1161] your trainees '[G3101][G1473] do not [G3756] fast [G3522]?
15: And [G2532] said [G2036] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), are not [G3361] able [G1410] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] bridal chamber [G3567] to mourn [G3996] as long as [G1909][G3745] with [G3326] them [G1473] is the [G3588] groom [G3566]. But there will come [G2064][G1161] days [G2250] whenever [G3752] departs from them [G1473] the [G3588] groom [G3566], and [G2532] then [G5119] they will fast [G3522].
16: But no one [G3762][G1161] puts [G1911] a piece of cloth [G1915] rag [G4470] of an unshrunk upon [G1909] garment [G2440] an old [G3820], lifts away for [G1063] the [G3588] fullness [G4138] of it [G1473] from the [G3588] garment [G2440], and [G2532] worse [G5501] split [G4978] becomes [G1096].
17: Nor [G3761] do they throw wine [G3631] new [G3501] into [G1519] leather bags old [G3820]; otherwise [G1490] are torn [G4486] the [G3588] leather bags , and [G2532] the [G3588] wine [G3631] pours out [G1632], and [G2532] the [G3588] leather bags they destroy . But they cast wine [G3631] new [G3501] into [G1519] leather bags new [G2537], and [G2532] both are preserved together [G4933].
18: these [things] [G3778] [In] of him '[G1473] speaking [G2980] to them [G1473], look [G2400], ruler one [G1520] having come [G2064], did obeisance to [G4352] him [G1473], saying [G3004] that [G3754], the [G3588] My daughter [G2364][G1473] just now came to an end [G5053]; but having come [G2064], place [G2007] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473] upon [G1909] her [G1473]! and [G2532] she will live [G2198].
19: And [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) having arisen [G1453] the [G3588], he followed him [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him [G1473].
20: And [G2532] look [G2400], a woman [G1135] hemorrhaging twelve [G1427] years [G2094], having come forward [G4334] behind [G3693], touched the [G3588] decorative hem [G2899] of the [G3588] his cloak [G2440][G1473].
21: For she said [G3004][G1063] in [G1722] herself [G1438], If [G1437] only [G3440] I should touch the [G3588] his cloak [G2440][G1473], I will be delivered [G4982].
22: the [G3588] And [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) having turned [G1994], and [G2532] looking [at] [G1492] her [G1473], said [G2036], Courage [G2293] daughter [G2364]! the [G3588] your trust '[G4102][G1473] has delivered [G4982] you [G1473]. And [G2532] was delivered [G4982] the [G3588] woman [G1135] from the [G3588] that hour [G5610][G1565].
23: And [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) having come [G2064] the [G3588] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3614] of the [G3588] ruler , and [G2532] looking [at] [G1492] the [G3588] pipers and [G2532] the [G3588] crowd [G3793] making a disruption [G2350],
24: he says [G3004] to them [G1473], Withdraw ! not [G3756] for [G1063] died the [G3588] young woman [G2877], but sleeps [G2518]. And [G2532] they ridiculed [G2606] him [G1473].
25: But when [G3753][G1161] was cast out [G1544] the [G3588] multitude [G3793], having entered [G1525], he held [G2902] the [G3588] her hand [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] arose [G1453] the [G3588] young woman [G2877].
26: And [G2532] went forth [G1831] the [G3588] this reputation [G5345][G3778] into [G1519] entire [G3650] the [G3588] land '[G1093] that [G1565].
27: And [G2532] passing [G3855] from there [G1564] in of the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), there followed him [G1473] two [G1417] blind [men [G5185], crying out [G2896] and [G2532] saying [G3004], Show compassion [G1653] upon us [G1473], O son [G5207] of David!
28: And having come [G2064][G1161] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3614], there came forward [G4334] to him [G1473] the [G3588] blind [men [G5185]. And [G2532] says [G3004] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Do you trust '[G4100] that [G3754] I am able [G1410] to do this [G3778][G4160]? They say [G3004] to him [G1473], Yes [G3483], O Boss '[G2962].
29: Then [G5119] he touched the [G3588]ir eyes [G3788][G1473], saying [G3004], According to [G2596] the [G3588] your trust '[G4102][G1473] let it be [G1096] to you [G1473]!
30: And [G2532] were opened their [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788]; and [G2532] strictly charged [G1690] them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), saying [G3004], See [G3708] you let no one know [G3367][G1097]!
31: And they the [G3588][G1161], having gone forth [G1831], spread of him abroad [G1310][G1473] in [G1722] entire [G3650] the [G3588] land '[G1093] that [G1565].
32: And of their [G1473][G1161] going forth [G1831], look [G2400], they brought near [G4374] to him [G1473] man a mute [G2974] being demon-possessed [G1139].
33: And [G2532] having been cast out [G1544] of the [G3588] demon [possessed] [man [G1140], spoke [G2980] the [G3588] mute [G2974]. And [G2532] marveled [G2296] the [G3588] multitudes [G3793], saying [G3004], At no time [G3763] was such shown forth [G5316][G3779] in [G1722] the [G3588] Israel.
34: But the [G3588][G1161] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]) said [G3004], By [G1722] the [G3588] ruler of the [G3588] demons [G1140] he casts out [G1544] the [G3588] demons [G1140].
35: And [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) went about [G4013] the [G3588] [G3588] cities [G4172] all [G3956] and [G2532] the [G3588] towns [G2968], teaching [G1321] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir synagogues [G4864][G1473], and [G2532] proclaiming [G2784] the [G3588] good-word-conveyed (good message) '[G2098] of the [G3588] government ', and [G2532] curing [G2323] every [G3956] disease [G3554], and [G2532] every [G3956] infirmity [G3119].
36: And having looked [at] [G1492][G1161] the [G3588] crowds [G3793], he was moved with compassion [G4697] for [G4012] them [G1473], for [G3754] they were fainting [G1590] and [G2532] dropping [G4495] as [G5616] sheep [G4263] not [G3361] having [G2192] a shepherd [G4166].
37: Then [G5119] he says [G3004] [to the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473], For sure the [G3588][G3303] harvest [G2326] [is] great [G4183], but the [G3588][G1161] workers [G2040] few [G3641];
38: beseech [G1189] then [G3767] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of the [G3588] harvest [G2326], so that [G3704] he should cast [G1544] workers [G2040] into [G1519] the [G3588] his harvest [G2326][G1473].
