And [G2532] he came forth [G1831] from there [G1564], and [G2532] went [G2064] into [G1519] the [G3588] his fatherland [G3968][G1473]; and [G2532] followed him [G1473] the [G3588] his disciples [G3101][G1473].

And [G2532] taking place [G1096] Sabbath [G4521], he began in [G1722] the [G3588] synagogue [G4864] to teach [G1321]; and [G2532] many [G4183] hearing were overwhelmed [G1605], saying [G3004], From where [G4159] did this one [G3778] [receive] these [things] [G3778]? And [G2532], What [G5100] the [G3588] wisdom [G4678] the [G3588] having been given [G1325] to him [G1473], that [G3754] even [G2532] power [G1411] such [G5108] through [G1223] the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] takes place [G1096]?

this not [G3756][G3778] Is the [son of the [G3588] fabricator [G5045], the [G3588] son [G5207] of Mary, and brother [G1161] of James, and [G2532] Joses, and [G2532] Judah, and [G2532] Simon? And [G2532] not [G3756] are the [G3588] his sisters [G1473] here [G5602] with [G4314] us [G1473]? And [G2532] they were stumbled [G4624] by [G1722] him [G1473].

said [G3004] And [G1161] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) that [G3754], not [G3756] is A prophet [G4396] without honor except [G1508] in [G1722] the [G3588] his fatherland [G3968][G1473], and [G2532] among [G1722] the [G3588] relatives [G4773], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his [own] house [G3614][G1473].

And [G2532] he was not [G3756] able [G1410] there [G1563] not even one [G3762] powerful work [G1411] to do [G4160], except [G1508] to a few [G3641] ill ones , having placed upon [G2007] the [G3588] hands [G5495], he cured [them [G2323].

And [G2532] he marveled [G2296] because of [G1223] the [G3588]ir unbelief [G1473]. And [G2532] he led about [G4013] the [G3588] towns [G2968] round about [G2945], teaching [G1321].

And [G2532] he calls on [G4341] the [G3588] twelve [G1427], and [G2532] begins to send them [G1473] two by two ; and [G2532] he gave [G1325] to them [G1473] authority [G1849] of the [G3588] blowing airs (ghosts) '[G4151] the [G3588] unclean .

And [G2532] he made exhortation [G3853] to them [G1473] that [G2443] nothing [G3367] they should carry in [G1519] way [G3598], except [G1508] a rod [G4464] only [G3440] -- no [G3361] provision bag [G4082], no [G3361] bread , no [G3361] in [G1519] the [G3588] belt [G2223] brass [coin [G5475];

but being tied on [G5265] sandals [G4547]; and [G2532] not [G3361] putting on [G1746] two [G1417] inner garments [G5509].

And [G2532] he said [G3004] to them [G1473], Where [G3699] ever [G1437] you should enter [G1525] into [G1519] a house [G3614], there [G1563] abide [G3306] until [G2193] whenever you should come forth [G1831] from there [G1564]!

And [G2532] as many as [G3745] should not [G3361] receive [G1209] you [G1473], nor [G3366] should hear you [G1473], in going forth [G1607] from there [G1564], you shake off [G1621] the [G3588] dirt [G5522] the [G3588] underneath [G5270] the [G3588] your feet [G4228][G1473] for [G1519] a testimony [G3142] to them [G1473]! Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], More endurable it will be for Sodom or [G2228] Gomorrah in [G1722] day [G2250] of judgment [G2920], than [G2228] the [G3588] that city [G4172][G1565].

And [G2532] having come forth [G1831], they proclaimed [G2784] that [G2443] they should repent [G3340].

And [G2532] demons [G1140] many [G4183] they cast out [G1544], and [G2532] they anointed with oil [G1637] many [G4183] ill ones , and [G2532] they cured [G2323].

And [G2532] heard the [G3588] king Herod], open [G5318] for [G1063] became [G1096] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G3004] that [G3754], John, the [G3588] [one] submerging , from [G1537] dead [G3498] is arisen [G1453], and [G2532] because of [G1223] this [G3778] operate [G1754] the [G3588] [works of] power [G1411] in [G1722] him [G1473].

Others said [G3004] that [G3754], He is Elijah . And others [G1161] said [G3004] that [G3754], He is a prophet [G4396], or [G2228] as [G5613] one [G1520] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396].

And having heard [G1161], the [G3588] Herod said [G2036] that [G3754], whom [G3739] I [G1473] beheaded John], this [G3778] is he [G1473]; he was arisen [G1453] from [G1537] dead [G3498].

For he [G1473][G1063], the [G3588] Herod, having sent , seized [G2902] the [G3588] John, and [G2532] bound [G1210] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] prison [G5438] on account of [G1223] Herodias the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Philip the [G3588] brother of him [G1473]; for [G3754] he married her [G1473][G1060].

said [G3004] For [G1063] John the [G3588] to Herod that [G3754], It is not allowed [G3756][G1832] to you [G1473] to have [G2192] the [G3588] wife [G1135] of the [G3588] your brother [G1473].

the [G3588] But [G1161] Herodias held [it] against [G1758] him [G1473], and [G2532] wanted [G2309] to kill him [G1473]; and [G2532] was not able [G3756][G1410].

for the [G3588] [G1063] Herod feared [G5399] the [G3588] John, knowing [G1492] him [G1473] man [as] a righteous [G1342] and [G2532] pure ', and [G2532] he preserved [G4933] him [G1473]. And [G2532] having heard of him [G1473], many [things] [G4183] he did [G4160], and [G2532] with pleasure [G2234] heard him [G1473].

And [G2532] having become [G1096] day [G2250] an opportune [G2121], when [G3753] Herod for the [G3588] his birthday [G1077][G1473] a supper [G1173] made [G4160] [to the [G3588] his great men [G3175][G1473], and [G2532] to the [G3588] commanders of thousands [G5506], and [G2532] to the [G3588] first ones [G4413] of the [G3588] Galilee;

and [G2532] having entered [G1525] the [G3588] her daughter [G2364][G1473], the [G3588] [one] of Herodias, and [G2532] dancing [G3738], and [G2532] pleasing the [G3588] Herod, and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] reclining together with [him [G4873], said [G2036] the [G3588] king to the [G3588] young woman [G2877], Ask me [G1473] what [G3739] ever [G1437] you should want [G2309], and [G2532] I will give [it [G1325] to you [G1473]!

And [G2532] he swore by an oath [G3660] to her [G1473] that [G3754], What [G3739] ever [G1437] me [G1473] you should ask , I will give [G1325] to you [G1473], unto [G2193] half [G2255] of the [G3588] my government '[G1473].

And she the [G3588][G1161] having gone forth [G1831] said [G2036] the [G3588] to her mother [G3384][G1473], What [G5100] will I ask ? And she the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], the [G3588] head [G2776] of John the [G3588] baptist .

And [G2532] having entered [G1525] immediately [G2112] with [G3326] haste [G4710] to [G4314] the [G3588] king , she asked saying [G3004], I want [G2309] that [G2443] you give to me [G1473][G1325] immediately [G1824] upon [G1909] a platter [G4094] the [G3588] head [G2776] of John the [G3588] baptist .

And [G2532] dejected [G4036] being [G1096] the [G3588] king because [G1223] of the [G3588] oaths [G3727], and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] reclining together with [him [G4873], did not [G3756] want [G2309] to disregard her [G1473].

And [G2532] immediately [G2112] having sent the [G3588] king a guard [G4688], gave orders [G2004] to be brought [G5342] for the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473]. And the [G3588][G1161] having gone forth he beheaded him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] prison [G5438].

And [G2532] he brought [G5342] the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473] upon [G1909] a platter [G4094], and [G2532] he gave [G1325] it [G1473] to the [G3588] young woman [G2877]. And [G2532] the [G3588] young woman [G2877] gave [G1325] it [G1473] the [G3588] to her mother [G3384][G1473].

And [G2532] having heard , the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473] came [G2064] and [G2532] lifted the [G3588] his corpse [G4430][G1473], and [G2532] put [G5087] it [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] tomb [G3419].

And [G2532] gathered together [G4863] the [G3588] sent ones (apostles) ' to [G4314] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), and [G2532] they reported to him [G1473] all [G3956], even [G2532] as much as [G3745] they did [G4160], and [G2532] as much as [G3745] they taught [G1321].

And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], You come [G1205][G1473] by yourselves [G1473] in [G2596] private [G2398] unto [G1519] a desolate [G2048] place [G5117], and [G2532] rest a little [G3641]! were For [G1063] the [G3588] [ones] coming [G2064] and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] going [G5217] many [G4183]; and [G2532] not even [G3761] to eat [G2068] did they have an opportune time [G2119].

And [G2532] he went forth unto [G1519] a desolate [G2048] place [G5117] in the [G3588] boat [G4143] in [G2596] private [G2398].

And [G2532] they looked [at] [G1492] them [G1473] going away [G5217], and [G2532] recognized [G1921] him [G1473] many [G4183], and [G2532] on foot [G3979] from all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172] they ran together [G4936] there [G1563], and [G2532] they went forth [G4281][G1473], and [G2532] came together [G4905] to [G4314] him [G1473].

And [G2532] having come forth [G1831], looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) a great [G4183] crowd [G3793], and [G2532] he was moved with compassion [G4697] over [G1909] them [G1473], for [G3754] they were as [G5613] sheep [G4263] not [G3361] having [G2192] a shepherd [G4166]. And [G2532] he began to teach [G1321] them [G1473] many [things] [G4183].

And [G2532] already [G2235] hour [G5610] great [G4183] having been [G1096], having come forward [G4334] to him [G1473] the [G3588] his disciples [G3101][G1473], say [G3004] that [G3754], It is a desolate [G2048] the [G3588] place [G5117], and [G2532] already [G2235] hour [G5610] [it is] a great [G4183].

Dismiss them [G1473]! that [G2443] having gone forth into [G1519] the [G3588] round about [G2945] fields , and [G2532] towns [G2968], they should buy to themselves [G1438] bread loaves ; anything [G5100] for [G1063] they will eat [G2068] they do not have [G3756][G2192].

And he the [G3588][G1161] answering said [G2036] to them [G1473], You give [G1325] to them [G1473] yourselves [G1473] [something] to eat [G2068]! And [G2532] they say [G3004] to him [G1473], Having gone forth should we buy two hundred [G1250] denarii [G1220] of bread loaves , and [G2532] should we give [G1325] to them [G1473] to eat [G2068]?

And he the [G3588][G1161] says [G3004] to them [G1473], How many [G4214] bread loaves do you have [G2192]? Go [G5217] and [G2532] see [G1492]! And [G2532] having known [G1097], they say [G3004], Five [G4002] and [G2532] two [G1417] fishes [G2486].

And [G2532] he gave orders [G2004] to them [G1473] to lie all down [G3956], parties [G4849] by parties [G4849], upon [G1909] the [G3588] green [G5515] grass [G5528].

And [G2532] they reclined , plot [G4237] by plot [G4237], by hundreds [G1540], and [G2532] by fifties [G4004].

And [G2532] having taken [G2983] the [G3588] five [G4002] bread loaves and [G2532] the [G3588] two [G1417] fishes [G2486], having looked up into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], he blessed [G2127]. And [G2532] he broke off in pieces [G2622] of the [G3588] bread loaves , and [G2532] he gave [G1325] [to the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473], that [G2443] they should place near [G3908] to them [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] two [G1417] fishes [G2486] he portioned [G3307] to all [G3956].

And [G2532] all ate [G2068][G3956], and [G2532] were filled [G5526].

And [G2532] they took up of pieces [G2801] twelve [G1427] hampers [G2894] full [G4134], and [G2532] off the [G3588] fishes [G2486].

And [G2532] were the [G3588] [ones] having eaten [G2068] of the [G3588] bread loaves about [G5616] five thousand [G4000] men .

And [G2532] immediately [G2112] he compelled the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him [G1473] to step [G1684] into [G1519] the [G3588] boat [G4143], and [G2532] to lead [G4254] to [G1519] the [G3588] other side [G4008] to [G4314] Bethsaida, until [G2193] he [G1473] should dismiss the [G3588] crowd [G3793].

And [G2532] having dismissed them [G1473], he went forth into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] to pray [G4336].

And [G2532] evening [G3798] having become [G1096], was the [G3588] boat [G4143] in [G1722] the middle [G3319] of the [G3588] sea [G2281], and [G2532] he [G1473] [was] alone [G3441] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].

And [G2532] he looked [at] [G1492] them [G1473] being tormented in [G1722] the [G3588] rowing [G1643]; was for [G1063] the [G3588] wind opposite [G1727] them [G1473]. And [G2532] around [G4012] fourth [G5067] watch [G5438] of the [G3588] night [G3571] he comes [G2064] to [G4314] them [G1473], walking [G4043] upon [G1909] the [G3588] sea [G2281], and [G2532] he wanted [G2309] to go by [G3928] them [G1473].

And they the [G3588][G1161] looking [at] [G1492] him [G1473] walking [G4043] upon [G1909] the [G3588] sea [G2281], thought [G1380] it to be a phantom [G5326], and [G2532] they shouted aloud .

For all [G3956][G1063] beheld him [G1473][G1492], and [G2532] were disturbed [G5015]. And [G2532] immediately [G2112] he spoke [G2980] with [G3326] them [G1473], and [G2532] he says [G3004] to them [G1473], Take courage [G2293], I [G1473] am [he , do not [G3361] fear [G5399]!

And [G2532] he went up to [G4314] them [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] boat [G4143]; and [G2532] abated [G2869] the [G3588] wind . And [G2532] exceedingly [G3029] beyond [G1537] extra [G4053] among [G1722] themselves [G1438] they were amazed [G1839] and [G2532] marveled [G2296].

For they did not [G3756][G1063] perceive [G4920] concerning [G1909] the [G3588] bread loaves ; was for [G1063] the [G3588]ir heart [G2588][G1473] calloused [G4456].

And [G2532] having passed through [G1276], they came [G2064] unto [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Gennesaret, and [G2532] were moored [G4358].

And [G2532] on their coming forth [G1831][G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] boat [G4143], immediately [G2112] having recognized [G1921] him [G1473],

running [G4063] all [G3650] the [G3588] round about [G4066] that [place] [G1565], they began upon [G1909] the [G3588] litters [G2895] the [G3588] [ones] illnesses [G2560] having [G2192] to carry round about [G4064], where [G3699] they were hearing that [G3754], He is there [G1563].

And [G2532] where [G3699] ever he entered [G1531] into [G1519] towns [G2968] or [G2228] cities [G4172] or [G2228] fields , in [G1722] the [G3588] markets they put [G5087] the [G3588] [ones] being invalid ; and [G2532] they appealed to [G3870] him [G1473] that [G2443] if only [G2579] the [G3588] decorative hem [G2899] of the [G3588] his cloak [G2440][G1473] they could just touch ; and [G2532] as many as [G3745] touched him [G1473] were delivered [G4982].
