1: Woe [G3759] to the [G3588] crown [G4735] of the [G3588] insolence [G5196], the [G3588] hirelings [G3411] of Ephraim, the [G3588] flower , the [G3588] [one] having fallen [G1601] of the [G3588] glory [G1391] upon [G1909] the [G3588] top of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] thick [branched , the [G3588] [ones] being intoxicated [G3184] without wine [G3631].
2: look [G2400], strong [G2478] and [G2532] hard [G4642] [is] the [G3588] rage [G2372] of Boss '[G2962]; as [G5613] hail [G5464] being carried down [G2702] not [G3756] having [G2192] protection , with force being carried down [G2702]; as [G5613] water [G5204] of much [G4183] a multitude [G4128] dragging [G4951] a place [along [G5561]. In [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] he will cause [G4160] rest to the [G3588] hands [G5495].
3: And [G2532] by the [G3588] feet [G4228] will be trampled [G2662] the [G3588] crown [G4735] of the [G3588] insolence [G5196], the [G3588] hirelings [G3411] of the [G3588] Ephraim.
4: And [G2532] will be the [G3588] flower (the [one] [G3588] having fallen off [G1601] of the [G3588] hope [G1680] of the [G3588] glory [G1391]) upon [G1909] tip of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] high [G5308] as [G5613] a forerunner [G4274] of a fig [G4810]. the [G3588] [one] looking [at] [G1492] it [G1473], before [G4250] into [G1519] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473] taking [it [G2983], will want [G2309] to swallow it down [G1473][G2666].
5: the [G3588] In that day [G2250][G1565] will be Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] the [G3588] crown [G4735] of the [G3588] hope [G1680], the [G3588] plaited [crown [G4120] of the [G3588] glory [G1391] to the [G3588] [one] being left behind [G2641] of my [G1473] people [G2992].
6: And [G2532] they will be left behind [G2641] in [G1722] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of equity [G2920] for [G1909] judgment [G2920], and [G2532] [for the] strength [G2479] restraining [G2967] doing away with .
7: For these [G3778][G1063] in wine [G3631] wandering [G4105] are ; wandering [G4105] because of [G1223] the [G3588] liquor [G4608]; priest [G2409] and [G2532] prophet [G4396] are startled [G1839] because of [G1223] the [G3588] liquor [G4608]; they are swallowed down [G2666] because of [G1223] the [G3588] wine [G3631]; they are shaken [G4579] from the [G3588] intoxication [G3178] of the [G3588] liquor [G4608]; they wandered [G4105]; this is [G5123] a visible manifestation .
8: A curse will devour [G2068] this [G3778] the [G3588] plan [G1012], for this [G3778][G1063] the [G3588] plan [G1012] is because of [G1752] desire for wealth [G4124].
9: To whom [G5100] did we announce evils [G2556]? and [G2532] to whom [G5100] did we announce a word-conveyed (message) '? [even to] the [G3588] [ones] being weaned from milk [G1051], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] being drawn away from breast [G3149].
10: Affliction [G2347] upon [G1909] affliction [G2347]; favorably receive [G4327] hope [G1680] upon [G1909] hope [G1680]; still [G2089] a little [G3397], still [G2089] a little [G3397],
11: because of [G1223] disparagement of lips [G5491]; by [G1223] tongue [G1100] another [G2087] for [G3754] they will speak [G2980] the [G3588] to this people [G2992][G3778],
12: saying [G3004] to it [G1473], This [is [G3778] the [G3588] rest to the [G3588] [one] hungering [G3983], and [G2532] this [G3778] [is] the [G3588] destruction [G4938]; and [G2532] they did not [G3756] want [G2309] to hear .
13: And [G2532] will be to them [G1473] the [G3588] oracle [G3051] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], affliction [G2347] upon [G1909] affliction [G2347], hope [G1680] upon [G1909] hope [G1680], still [G2089] a little [G3397], still [G2089] a little [G3397]; that [G2443] they should go [G4198] and [G2532] should fall [G4098] to [G1722] the [G3588] rear [G3694], and [G2532] will be exposed to danger [G2793], and [G2532] will be broken [G4937], and [G2532] will be captured .
14: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] hear word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962], O men being afflicted [G2346], and [G2532] the [G3588] rulers of the [G3588] this people [G2992][G3778] the [G3588] in [G1722] Jerusalem!
15: For [G3754] you said [G2036], We made [G4160] a covenant [G1242] with [G3326] the [G3588] Hades , and [G2532] with [G3326] the [G3588] death [G2288] treaties . a gale being brought [G5342] If [G1437] should go by [G3928], in no way should it come [G2064] to us [G1473]. We made [G5087] lie [G5579] the [G3588] hope [G1680] of us [G1473], and [G2532] by the [G3588] lie [G5579] we will be sheltered .
16: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], thus [G3779] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], look [G2400], I [G1473] will put [G1685] for [G1519] the [G3588] foundations [G2310] of Zion stone [G3037] a very costly [G4185] chosen [G1588] cornering of value [G1784] for [G1519] the [G3588] its foundations [G2310][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] trusting '[G4100] upon [G1909] it [G1473] in no way should be disgraced [G2617].
17: And [G2532] I will place [G5087] judgment [G2920] for [G1519] hope [G1680], the [G3588] and [G1161] my charity [G1654][G1473] by [G1519] weights . And [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] relying [G3982] vainly [G3155] in a lie [G5579] that [G3754] in no way should go by [G3928] you [G1473] gale ;
18: even [G2532] should not have removed [G3361] your [G1473] the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of the [G3588] death [G2288]; and [G2532] the [G3588] yhope [G1680] of us [G1473], the [G3588] [one] in [G4314] the [G3588] Hades in no way should adhere [G1696]. blast being brought [G5342] If [G1437] should come [G1904], you will be by it [G1473] for [G1519] trampling .
19: Whenever [G3752] it should go by [G3928], it will take [G2983] you [G1473]. Morning [G4404] [by] morning [G4404] it will go by [G3928] you [G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] night [G3571] it will be hope [G1680] an evil [G4190]. Learn [G3129] to hear !
20: O ones having been restricted [G4729], in no way [G3756] are we able [G1410] to do combat [G3164]; but we are ourselves [G1473][G1161] weakened for the [G3588] you [G1473] to gather [G4863].
21: As if [G5618] a raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of impious [men BOSS will rise up [G2962]; and [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] ravine [G5327] of Gibeon; with [G3326] rage [G2372] he will execute [G4160] the [G3588] his works [G2041][G1473] -- of bitterness [G4088] a work [G2041]; the [G3588] but [G1161] his rage [G2372][G1473] strangely he will treat [G5530], and [G2532] the [G3588] his rottenness [G1473] in strangeness .
22: And [G2532] you [G1473], may you not [G3361] be glad [G2165], nor [G3366] strengthen [G2480] in you [G1473] the [G3588] bonds [G1199]; because [G1360] being completed [G4931] and [G2532] being rendered concise [G4932] things [G4229] I heard by [G3844] Boss '[G2962] of Host [G4519], which [G3739] he will do [G4160] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
23: Give ear [G1801] and [G2532] hearken the [G3588] to my voice [G5456][G1473]! Take heed [G4337] and [G2532] hear the [G3588] my words [G3056][G1473]!
24: will not [G3361] entire [G3650] the [G3588] day [G2250] be about [G3195] the [G3588] [one] plowing to plow ? or [G2228] [the one] sowing [G4703], will he [not] prepare [G4282] beforehand [G4250] to work [G2038] the [G3588] land '[G1093]?
25: Does he not [G3756] whenever [G3752] he should level the [G3588] face [G4383] of it [G1473], then [G5119] sow [G4687] small [G3397] pepperwort or [G2228] cummin [G2951], and [G2532] again [G3825] sow [G4687] wheat , and [G2532] barley [G2915], and [G2532] spelt , in [G1722] the [G3588] your boundaries [G3725][G1473]?
26: And [G2532] you will be corrected [G3811] in equity [G2917] of your God '[G2316][G1473], and [G2532] will be glad [G2165].
27: For not [G3756][G1063] with [G3326] hardness [G4643] cleansed [G2508] the [G3588] [is the] pepperwort , nor [G3761] wheel [G5164] of a wagon will] lead about [G4013] upon [G1909] the [G3588] cummin [G2951]; but by a rod [G4464] [is] shaken off [G1621] the [G3588] pepperwort .
28: But the [G3588][G1161] cummin [G2951] with [G3326] bread will be eaten , not [G3756] for [G1063] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) ` I [am [G1473] provoked to anger [G3710] against you [G1473], nor [G3761] [will the] voice [G5456] of the [G3588] my bitterness [G4088][G1473] trample [G2662] you [G1473].
29: And [G2532] these [G3778] by [G3844] Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] came forth [G1831] the [G3588] miracles [G5059]. Take counsel [G1011], exalt [G5312] vain [G3152] comfort [G3874]!
