1: This [G3778] already [G2235], beloved , a second [G1208] to you [G1473] I write [G1125] letter [G1992], in [G1722] which [G3739] I awaken [G1326] your [G1473] in [G1722] recollection [G5280] the [G3588] honest [G1506] consideration [G1271],
2: to remember [G3403] the [G3588] before described [G4280] sayings [G4487] by [G5259] the [G3588] pure ' prophets [G4396], and [G2532] of the [G3588] [G3588] sent ones (apostles) ' of us [G1473] commandment [G1785] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] and [G2532] deliverer [G4990].
3: This [G3778] first [G4412] knowing [G1097], that [G3754] will come [G2064] at [G1909] last [G2078] of the [G3588] days [G2250] mockers [G1703], according to [G2596] the [G3588]ir own [G2398][G1473] lusts [G1939] going [G4198],
4: and [G2532] saying [G3004], Where [G4226] is the [G3588] promise [G1860] of the [G3588] his arrival [G3952][G1473]? from of which [time] [G3739] For [G1063] the [G3588] fathers [G3962] went to sleep [G2837], all [things] [G3956] thus [G3779] continue [G1265] from beginning of creation [G2937].
5: escaped notice [G2990] For [G1063] their [G1473] this [G3778] willingly [G2309], that [G3754] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772] were of old [G1597], and [G2532] an land '[G1093] from out of [G1537] water [G5204] and [G2532] through [G1223] water [G5204] stood together [G4921] by the [G3588] [G3588] word of God '[G2316][G3056];
6: through [G1223] of which [things] [G3739] the [G3588]n [G5119] arrangement '[G2889] by water [G5204] having been flooded [G2626] perished .
7: But the [G3588][G1161] present [G3568] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772] and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093], the [G3588] [one] of of him '[G1473] word [G3056], are treasured up [G2343] for fire [G4442] being kept [G5083] for [G1519] a day [G2250] of judgment [G2920] and [G2532] destruction of the [G3588] impious men .
8: But this one [thing] [G1520][G1161][G3778] let it not [G3361] be unaware [G2990] to you [G1473], beloved , that [G3754] one [G1520] day [G2250] with [G3844] Boss '[G2962] [is] as [G5613] a thousand [G5507] years [G2094], and [G2532] a thousand [G5507] years [G2094] as [G5613] day [G2250] one [G1520].
9: [is] not [G3756] slow [G1019] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] of promise [G1860], as [G5613] some [G5100] slowness [G1022] esteem [G2233], but is long-suffering [G3114] towards [G1519] us [G1473], not [G3361] willing [G1014] for anyone [G5100] to perish , but for all [G3956] for [G1519] repentance [G3341] to have space [G5562].
10: But will come [G2240][G1161] the [G3588] day [G2250] of Boss '[G2962] as [G5613] a thief [G2812] in [G1722] night [G3571], in [G1722] which the [G3588] [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772] by a loud noise [G4500] will pass away [G3928], and elements [G4747][G1161] being destroyed by fire [G2741] will be loosed [G3089]; and [G2532] land '[G1093] and [G2532] the [G3588] in [G1722] it [G1473] works [G2041] will be incinerated [G2618].
11: These [things] [G3778] then [G3767] all [G3956] being loosed [G3089], what kind [of persons [G4217] must [G1163] you be [G5224][G1473] in [G1722] pure ' behavior and [G2532] piety [G2150],
12: expecting [G4328] and [G2532] hastening [G4692] the [G3588] arrival [G3952] of the [G3588] [G3588] day of God '[G2316][G2250], by [G1223] which [G3739] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772] being set on fire [G4448] will be loosed [G3089], and [G2532] elements [G4747] being destroyed by fire [G2741] will melt away [G5080]?
13: But new [G2537][G1161] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772] and [G2532] land '[G1093] a new [G2537], according to [G2596] the [G3588] his declaration [G1862][G1473], we expect [G4328], in [G1722] which [G3739] righteousness [G1343] dwells [G2730].
14: Therefore [G1352], beloved , these [things] [G3778] expecting [G4328], endeavor [G4704] spotless and [G2532] without blemish by him [G1473] to be found [G2147] in [G1722] peace [G1515]!
15: And [G2532] the [G3588] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] long-suffering [G3115] deliverance [G4991] esteem [G2233]; as [G2531] also [G2532] the [G3588] our beloved [G1473] brother Paul, according to [G2596] the [G3588] to him [G1473] given [G1325] wisdom [G4678], wrote [G1125] to you [G1473],
16: as [G5613] also [G2532] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] letters [G1992], speaking [G2980] in [G1722] them [G1473] concerning [G4012] these [things] [G3778]; in [G1722] which [G3739] are hard to comprehend [G1425] some [things] [G5100], which [G3739] the [G3588] illiterate and [G2532] unstable make crooked [G4761], as [G5613] also [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of scriptures [G1124], to [G4314] the [G3588]ir own [G2398][G1473] destruction .
17: You [G1473] then [G3767], beloved , foreknowing [G4267], guard [G5442] that [G2443] not [G3361] by of the [G3588] [G3588] unlawful ones delusion [G4106] having been led away [G4879], you should fall from [G1601] your own the [G3588][G2398] steadfastness [G4740]!
18: But grow [G1161] in [G1722] favor [G5484] and [G2532] knowledge [G1108] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] and [G2532] deliverer [G4990] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547],! To him [G1473] [be] the [G3588] glory [G1391] both [G2532] now [G3568] and [G2532] into [G1519] day [G2250] of age (term) `. Amen .
