Proverbs Chapter 24 - | Early Church Bible

1: O son [G5207], you should not [G3361] be jealous [G2206] of evil [G2556] men , nor [G3366] should you desire [G1937] to be with [G3326] them [G1473].
2: lying [G5571] For [G1063] meditates on [G3191] the [G3588]ir heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] of miseries [G4192] the [G3588]ir lips [G5491][G1473] speak [G2980].
3: with [G3326] wisdom [G4678] is built [G3618] A house [G3624], and [G2532] with [G3326] skillfulness [G4907] is erected .
4: With [G3326] good sense are filled up [G1705] the [G3588] storerooms [G5009] of all [G3956] wealth [G4149] valuable [G5093] and [G2532] good [G2570].
5: [is] better [G2908] A wise man [G4680] [than] a strong man [G2478]; [G2532] a man of intelligence [G5428] [than] one having [G2192] farm [G1091] a great [G3173].
6: with [G3326] guidance [G2941] takes place [G1096] War [G4171], but help [G1161] [comes] with [G3326] heart [G2588] of a counselor .
7: Wisdom [G4678] and [G2532] insight [G1771] good [are] in [G1722] gates [G4439] of wise [G4680]. wise [G4680] do not [G3756] turn aside [G1578] from [G1537] law [G3551] of Boss '[G2962], but consider [things] [G3049] in [G1722] sanhedrins [G4892]; [but the] uninstructed ones meet with [G4876] death [G2288],

9: dies but [G1161] fool in [G1722] sins . Uncleanness man to a pestilent [G3061] --
10: he will be contaminated in [G1722] day [G2250] evil [G2556], and [G2532] in [G1722] day [G2250] of affliction [G2347], until [G2193] whenever he should cease [G1587].
11: Rescue [G4506] ones being conveyed ' unto [G1519] death [G2288], and [G2532] buy off ones for slaying ! You should not spare [G3361][G5339].
12: But if [G1437][G1161] you should say [G2036], I do not [G3756] know [G1492] this [G3778]; know [G1097] that [G3754] Boss '[G2962] heart [G2588] of all [G3956] knows [G1097]; even [G2532] the [G3588] [one] shaping [G4111] breath [G4157] in all [G3956], he [G1473] knows [G1492] all [things] [G3956]. [He is] the one who [G3739] renders to each [G1538] according to [G2596] the [G3588] his works [G2041][G1473].
13: Eat [G2068] honey [G3192], O son [G5207], [is] good for [G1063] honeycomb [G2781]! that [G2443] should be sweetened your [G1473] the [G3588] throat .
14: For thus [G3779][G1063] you will perceive wisdom [G4678] [in the [G3588] your [G4674] soul [G5590]; for if [G1437][G1063] you should find it [G2147], will be good [G2570] the [G3588] your decease [G5054][G1473], and [G2532] hope [G1680] you [G1473] will not [G3756] forsake [G2641].
15: You should not [G3361] lead [G4317] impious to pasture [G3542] of just [G1342]; nor [G3366] should you be deceived in filling belly [G2836].
16: For seven times [G2034][G1063] will fall [G4098] the [G3588] just [G1342], and [G2532] rise up ; but the [G3588][G1161] impious will weaken in [G1722] evils [G2556].
17: If [G1437] should fall [G4098] the [G3588] your enemy [G2190][G1473], you should not [G3361] rejoice over him [G1473]; and in [G1722][G1161] the [G3588] his fall [G1473] be not lifted up [G3361][G1869]!
18: For [G3754] BOSS will see [it [G3708][G2962], and [G2532] it will not [G3756] please him [G1473]; and [G2532] he will return the [G3588] his rage [G2372][G1473] upon him [G1473].
19: Do not [G3361] rejoice [G5463] over [G1909] [ones] doing evil [G2555], nor [G3366] be jealous [G2206] of sinners !
20: For in no way [G3756][G1063][G3361] will there be [G1096] a progeny [G1549] of wicked ones [G4190]; and torch [G1161] of impious will be extinguished [G4570].
21: Fear [G5399] the [G3588] God '[G2316], O son [G5207], and [G2532] king ! and [G2532] to neither one of them [G1473] should you resist persuasion .
22: For suddenly [G1810][G1063] they will pay [G5099] the [G3588] impious ; and the [G3588][G1161] punishment [G5098] of both , who [G5100] will know [G1097]?
23: But these [things] [G3778][G1161] I say [G3004] to you [G1473], to the [G3588] wise [G4680], to realize [that [G1921] to stand in awe of a person [G4383] in [G1722] a judgment [G2920] is not [G3756] good [G2570].
24: the [one] [G3588] having said [G2036], the [G3588] impious is just [G1342], accursed [G1944] among peoples [G2992] will be , and [G2532] detested among [G1519] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484].
25: But the [G3588][G1161] ones reproving [G1651] best will appear [G5316], upon [G1909] them [G1473] and [G1161] will come [G2240] blessing [G2129] a good ;
26: but lips [G5491][G1161] will kiss [G5368] ones answering words [G3056] [with] good .
27: Prepare [G2090] for [G1519] the [G3588] departure [G1841] the [G3588] works [G2041] of you [G1473], and [G2532] make preparations [G3903] for [G1519] the [G3588] field , and [G2532] go [G4198] after me [G1473]! and [G2532] you will rebuild the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473].
28: Do not [G3361] be a lying [G5571] witness [G3144] against [G1909] your [G4674] fellow-countryman [G4177], nor [G3366] open wide [G4115] with your [G4674] lips [G5491]!
29: You should not [G3361] say [G2036], In which [G3739] manner [G5158] he treated [G5530] me [G1473], I will treat [G5530] him [G1473]; and I will pay [G5099][G1161] him [G1473] who [G3739] wronged me [G1473].
30: [is] as [G5618] a farm [G1091] man A foolish , and [G2532] [is] as [G5618] a vineyard a man lacking [G1729] of sense [G5424];
31: if [G1437] you should let it [G1473] go barren , then [G2532] it will become overgrown entirely [G3650]; and [G2532] takes place [G1096] failing [G1587]; the [G3588] and [G1161] fences [G5418] of the [G3588] stones [G3037] of him '[G1473] will be razed [G2679].
32: Afterwards [G5305] I [G1473] changed my mind [G3340]; I looked [G1914] the [G3588] to choose [G1586] instruction [G3809].
33: a little [G3641] I slumber [G3573]; a little [G3641] and [G1161] I sleep soundly , a little [G3641] and [G1161] I fold [G1723] [my] hands [G5495] [to my] breasts [G4738].
34: But if [G1437][G1161] you should do this [G3778][G4160], will come [G2240] before [G4313] the [G3588] poverty you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] lack as [G5618] a good runner .
