1: proverbs [G3942] of Solomon son [G5207] of David who [G3739] reigned in [G1722] Israel,
2: to know [G1097] wisdom [G4678] and [G2532] instruction [G3809]; to comprehend [G3539] also [G5037] words [G3056] of intelligence [G5428];
3: to receive [G1209] also [G5037] shifting and turning of words [G3056], and [G2532] loosening [G3080] enigmas ; to comprehend [G3539] also [G5037] righteousness [G1343] true and [G2532] judgment [G2917] to straighten out [G2720],
4: that [G2443] he should give [G1325] to one guileless astuteness [G3834], and to a child [G3816][G1161] young [G3501] perception , and also [G5037][G2532] reflection [G1771].
5: And for the [G3588][G1161][G1063] ones hearing , one wise [G4680] wiser [G4680] will be , and the [G3588][G1161] one intelligent guidance [G2941] will acquire [G2932].
6: He will comprehend [G3539] also [G5037] a paralell '[G3850] and [G2532] a dark [G4652] word '[G3056]; sayings also [G5037] of wise [G4680], and [G2532] enigmas .
7: beginning of wisdom [G4678] [is] fear [G5401] of Boss '[G2962], understanding [G4907] and [G1161] good to all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] observing [G4160] it [G1473]. And piety [G2150][G1161] to [G1519] God '[G2316] [is the] beginning of perception . But wisdom [G4678][G1161] and [G2532] instruction [G3809] impious will treat with contempt [G1848].
8: Hear , O son [G5207], laws [G3551] of father [G3962] of you [G1473]! and [G2532] you should not [G3361] thrust away rules of your mother [G3384][G1473];
9: a crown [G4735] for [G1063] of favors [G5484] you will receive [G1209] for your [G4674] head , and [G2532] a collar of gold [G5552] around [G4012] your [G4674] neck [G5137].
10: O son [G5207], you should not have [G3361] caused to wander you [G1473][G4105] men impious , nor [G3366] should you consent [G1014].
11: If [G1437] they should comfort [G3870] you [G1473], saying [G3004], Come [G2064] with [G3326] us [G1473], partake in [G2841] blood ! for we should hide [G2928][G1161] in [G1519] land '[G1093] man just [G1342] unjustly ,
12: and we should swallow [G2666][G1161] him [G1473] as [G5618] Hades , while living [G2198], and [G2532] lift of him '[G1473] the [G3588] remembrance [G3420] from [G1537] land '[G1093],
13: the the [G3588] property of of him '[G1473] the [G3588] very costly [G4185] we should overtake [G2638], and we should fill [G4130][G1161] houses [G3624] our [G2251] of spoils [G4661].
14: the [G3588] and [G1161] your [G4674] lot [G2819] throw in [G1722] with us [G1473], and [G2532] money bag one [G1520] let there become [G1096] for us [G1473].
15: You should not go [G3361][G4198] [in the] ways [G3598] with [G3326] them [G1473]. Turn aside [G1578] the [G3588] your foot [G4228][G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588]ir paths [G5147][G1473]!
16: for the [G3588] [G1063] their feet [G4228][G1473] to [G1519] evil [G2549] run [G5143], and [G2532] are quick [G5031] the [G3588] to pour out [G1632] blood .
17: [are] not [G3756] For [G1063] wrongfully stretched out [G1614] nets [G1350] for feathered [birds .
18: For they [G1473][G1063], the [G3588] [ones] in murder [G5408] partaking [G3348], treasure up [G2343] for themselves [G1438] evils [G2556].
19: These [G3778] the [G3588] ways [G3598] are of all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] completing [G4931] the [G3588] lawless [things] . For by the [G3588][G1063] impiety the [G3588]ir own [G1438] life [G5590] they remove .
20: Wisdom [G4678] in [G1722] streets [G1841] sings praise [G5214]; and in [G1722][G1161] squares [G4113] in open places [G3954] she celebrates .
21: upon [G1909] tops And [G1161] of walls [G5038] she proclaims [G2784]; and at [G1909][G1161] gates [G4439] of city [G4172] courageously [G2293] says [G3004],
22: As much [G3745] time [G5550] [as the] guileless have [G2192] of the [G3588] righteousness [G1343], they will not [G3756] be ashamed ; but the [G3588][G1161] fools the [G3588] insolence [G5196] being ones who crave [G1938], impious having become [G1096], detest [G3404] good sense ,
23: and [G2532] accountable become [G1096] for reproofs [G1650]. Look [G2400], I will let go to you [G1473] my [G1699] breath's [G4157] saying , and I will teach [G1321][G1161] you [G1473] the [G3588] by my [G1699] word [G3056].
24: Since [G1894] I called [G2564], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] obey [G5219]; and [G2532] I stretched out [G1614] words [G3056], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] take heed [G4337];
25: but void you made [G4160] my [G1699] counsels [G1012], the [G3588] and [G1161] to my [G1699] reproofs [G1650] you did not [G3756] give heed [G4337];
26: accordingly [G5105] I also [G2504] the [G3588] your [G5212] destruction laugh at ; and I will rejoice [G1161] when [G2259] ever comes [G2064] to you [G1473] ruin [G3639].
27: And [G2532] when [G5613] ever should arrive unto you [G1473] suddenly a tumult [G2351], and the [G3588][G1161] undoing [of yourself [G2692] like [G3668] a blast [is] at hand [G3918]; or [G2228] whenever [G3752] should come upon [G2064] you [G1473] affliction [G2347] and [G2532] assault ;
28: that it will be [G1063] whenever [G3752] you should call upon [G1941] me [G1473], even I [G1473][G1161] will not [G3756] listen to [G1522] you [G1473]. will seek [G2212] me [G1473] Evil men [G2556], and [G2532] will not [G3756] find [me [G2147];
29: for they detested [G3404][G1063] wisdom [G4678], and the [G3588][G1161] fear [G5401] of Boss '[G2962] they did not prefer [G3756][G4255];
30: nor [G3761] wanted [G2309] to my [G1699] to take heed [G4337] counsels [G1012]; but they sneered at [G3456][G1161] my [G1699] reproofs [G1650].
31: Accordingly [G5105] they will eat [G2068] of the [G3588]ir own [G1438] way [G3598] the [G3588] fruits [G2590], and [G2532] the [G3588] with their own [G1438] impiety will be filled [G4130].
32: For because [G1063] they wronged simple ones [G3516], they will be slaughtered [G5407], and [G2532] an inquisition impious will destroy .
33: But the [G3588] [one] [G1161] hearing me [G1473] will encamp [G2681] with [G1909] hope [G1680], and [G2532] will be tranquil [G2270] without fear from all [G3956] evil [G2556].
