Numbers Chapter 23 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Balaam said [G2036] the [G3588] to Balak, Build [G3618] for me [G1473] here seven [G2033] shrines [G1041], and [G2532] prepare [G2090] for me [G1473] here seven [G2033] calves [G3448], and [G2532] seven [G2033] rams !
2: And [G2532] Balak did [G4160] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Balaam]. And [G2532] he offered a calf [G3448] and [G2532] ram upon [G1909] the [G3588] shrine [G1041].
3: And [G2532] Balaam said [G2036] to [G4314] Balak, You stand [G3936] beside [G1909] the [G3588] your sacrifice [G2378][G1473]! and [G2532] I will go [G4198] [and see] if [G1487] me [G1473] will appear [G5316] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to [G1722] meet with [G4877]. And [G2532] saying [G4487] which [G3739] ever he will show to me [G1473][G1166] I will announce to you [G1473]. And [G2532] he went [G4198] straight [G2117].
4: And [G2532] God appeared [G5316] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] to Balaam. And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Balaam], the [G3588] seven [G2033] shrines [G1041] I prepared [G2090], and [G2532] I brought a calf [G3448] and [G2532] ram unto [G1909] the [G3588] shrine [G1041].
5: And [G2532] God put [G1685] the [G3588][G2316] a word [G4487] into [G1519] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of Balaam, and [G2532] he said [G2036], Turning [G1994] towards [G4314] Balak thus [G3779] you will speak [G2980].
6: And [G2532] he returned to [G4314] him [G1473], and [G2532] thus [G3592] he stood [G2186] over [G1909] the [G3588] his whole burnt-offerings [G3646][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] rulers of Moab with [G3326] him [G1473].
7: And [G2532] taking up the [G3588] his paralell '[G3850][G1473], he said [G2036], From out of [G1537] Mesopotamia fetched [G3343] me [G1473] Balak king of Moab], out of [G1537] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] off east , saying [G3004], Come [G1204] curse for me [G1473] the [G3588] Jacob! and [G2532], Come [G1204] accurse to me [G1473] the [G3588] Israel!
8: How [G5100] will I curse whom [G3739] does not [G3361] curse Boss '[G2962]? And [G2532] how [G5100] will I imprecate maledictions upon [G2672] whom [G3739] does not [G3361] imprecate maledictions upon [G2672] the [G3588] God '[G2316]?
9: For [G3754] from top of raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] I will see [G3708] him [G1473]; and [G2532] from hills [G1015] I will pay attention to him [G1473]. Look [G2400], a people [G2992] alone [G3441] will dwell [G2730], and [G2532] among [G1722] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] they will not be reckoned together [G3756][G4817].
10: Who [G5100] determined exactly the [G3588] seed [G4690] of Jacob, and [G2532] who [G5100] will count out peoples [G1218] of Israel? May die the [G3588] soul [G5590] of me [G1473] among [G1722] souls [G5590] of just [G1342], and [G2532] may become [G1096] the [G3588] my seed [G4690][G1473] as [G5613] the [G3588] seed [G4690] of this [G3778].
11: And [G2532] Balak said [G2036] to [G4314] Balaam, What [G5100] have you done [G4160] to me [G1473]? For [G1519] a curse for my enemies [G2190][G1473] I have called [G2564] you [G1473], and [G2532] look [G2400], you have blessed [G2127] a blessing [G2129].
12: And [G2532] Balaam said [G2036] to [G4314] Balak, Is it not [G3780] as many [things] [G3745] as God should put [G1685] the [G3588][G2316] in [G1519] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of me [G1473] this [G3778] I will guard [G5442] to speak [G2980]?
13: And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Balak], Come [G1204] yet [G2089] with [G3326] me [G1473] to [G1519] place [G5117] another of [G1537] which [G3739] you will not see [G3756][G3708] it [G1473] from there [G1564], but only a certain part [G3313][G5100] of it [G1473] will you see [G3708], all [G3956] but [G1161] in no way should you see [G1492], and [G2532] you curse [G2672] it for me [G1473][G1473] from there [G1564]!
14: And [G2532] he took [G3880] him [G1473] into [G1519] a field -- a height upon [G1909] top of a place for dressing stone ; and [G2532] he built [G3618] there [G1563] seven [G2033] shrines [G1041], and [G2532] brought a calf [G3448] and [G2532] ram unto [G1909] the [G3588] shrine [G1041].
15: And [G2532] Balaam said [G2036] to [G4314] Balak, Stand [G3936] beside [G1909] the [G3588] your sacrifice [G2378][G1473]! and I [G1473][G1161] will go [G4198] to ask [G1905] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
16: And [G2532] God met with [G4876] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] Balaam, and [G2532] he put [G1685] a word [G4487] into [G1519] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of him [G1473]. And [G2532] said [G2036], Return to [G4314] Balak! and [G2532] thus [G3592] you will speak [G2980].
17: And [G2532] he returned to [G4314] him [G1473]. And [G2532] thus [G3592] he was standing [G2186] beside [G1909] the [G3588] his whole burnt-offering [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] rulers of Moab with [G3326] him [G1473]. And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Balak], What [G5100] said [G2980] Boss '[G2962]?
18: And [G2532] taking up the [G3588] his paralell '[G3850][G1473], he said [G2036], Rise up , O Balak, and [G2532] hear ! Give ear [G1801], O witness [G3144] son [G5207] of Zippor!
19: is not [G3756] as [G5613] a man the [G3588] God '[G2316] to waver , nor [G3761] as [G5613] a son [G5207] of man to be threatened . He [G1473] in speaking [G2036], will he not [G3780] do [G4160]? will he speak [G2980], and [G2532] not [G3780] adhere to [G1696]?
20: look [G2400], to bless [G2127] I have taken to myself [G3880]. I will bless [G2127] and [G2532] in no way will I turn back .
21: There will not [G3756] be trouble [G3449] in [G1722] Jacob, nor [G3761] will appear [G3708] misery [G4192] in [G1722] Israel. Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of him [G1473] [is] with [G3326] him [G1473], the [G3588] honorable ones [G1741] of rulers [are] with [G1722] him [G1473].
22: God '[G2316] [was] the [G3588] [one] leading [G1806] him [G1473] out of [G1537] Egypt; as [G5613] glory [G1391] of his unicorn [G1473].
23: no [G3756] For [G1063] there is omen in [G1722] Jacob, nor [G3761] divination in [G1722] Israel. In [G2596] time [G2540] it will be told [G2046] to Jacob and [G2532] [to the [G3588] Israel what [G5100] will complete [G2005] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
24: look [G2400], people [G2992] as [G5613] a cub will raise up , and [G2532] as [G5613] a lion [G3023] it will prance ; It will not [G3756] go to sleep [G2837] until [G2193] it will eat [G2068] game [G2339], and [G2532] blood of slain it will drink [G4095].
25: And [G2532] Balak said [G2036] to [G4314] Balaam, Neither [G3777] in curses [G2671] will you curse [G2672] him [G1473], nor [G3777] blessings [G2127] will you [G3361] bless [G2127] him [G1473].
26: And [G2532] Balaam answering said [G2036] the [G3588] to Balak, Did I not [G3756] speak [G2980] to you [G1473], saying [G3004], the [G3588] word [G4487] which [G3739] ever God should speak [G2980] the [G3588][G2316], this [G3778] I will do [G4160]?
27: And [G2532] Balak said [G2036] to [G4314] Balaam, Come [G1204], I should take [G3880] you [G1473] unto [G1519] place [G5117] another , if [G1487] it should please the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] curse [G2672] him for me [G1473][G1473] from there [G1564]!
28: And [G2532] Balak took [G3880] the [G3588] Balaam upon [G1909] top of the [G3588] Peor, the [G3588] part extending [G3905] into [G1519] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048].
29: And [G2532] Balaam said [G2036] to [G4314] Balak, Build [G3618] for me [G1473] here [G5602] seven [G2033] shrines [G1041], and [G2532] prepare [G2090] for me [G1473] here [G5602] seven [G2033] calves [G3448], and [G2532] seven [G2033] rams !
30: And [G2532] Balak did [G4160] just as [G2509] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Balaam], and [G2532] he bore a calf [G3448] and [G2532] a ram unto [G1909] the [G3588] shrine [G1041].
