Nehemiah Chapter 7 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] when [G2259] was built [G3618] the [G3588] wall [G5038], and [G2532] I set [G2476] the [G3588] doors [G2374], and [G2532] numbered [out [G1980] the [G3588] gatekeepers , and [G2532] the [G3588] singers , and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites,
2: and [G2532] gave charge [G1781] [to the [G3588] Hanani the [G3588] my brother [G1473], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] Hananiah ruler of the [G3588] palace in [G1722] Jerusalem, (for [G3754] he [G1473] was as [G5613] man a true , and [G2532] one fearing [G5399] the [G3588] God '[G2316] more than [G5228] many, [G4183])
3: that [G2532] I said [G2036] to them [G1473], will not [G3756] be opened gates [G4439] of Jerusalem] until [G2193] at the same time the [G3588] sun [rises [G2246]; and [G2532] while they are still [G2089][G1473] vigilant [G1127] let be locked [G2808] the [G3588] doors [G2374] and [G2532] be safeguarded ! And [G2532] you set [G2476] advance guards of ones living [G3611] in [G1722] Jerusalem, [every] man at [G1722] his own post [G1438], and [G2532] [every] man before his own house [G3614][G1438]!
4: And [G2532] the [G3588] city [G4172] was spacious [G4116] and [G2532] great [G3173], and [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] [were] few [G3641] in [G1722] it [G1473], and [G2532] there were no [G3756] houses [G3614] having been built [G3618].
5: And [G2532] put [it [G1325] the [G3588] God '[G2316] into [G1519] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] I gathered [G4863] the [G3588] important ones [G1784], and [G2532] the [G3588] rulers , and [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] into [G1519] groups [G4923]. And [G2532] I found [G2147] a scroll of the [G3588] group [G4923], to the ones which [G3739] went up at [G1722] first [G4413], and [G2532] I found [G2147] [things] being written [G1125] in [G1722] it [G1473].
6: These [are [G3778] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] place [G5561], the [G3588] [ones] going up from the [G3588] captivity of the [G3588] resettlement of whom [G3739] resettled Nebuchadnezzar the [G3588] king of Babylon], and [G2532] they returned [G1994] to [G1519] Jerusalem, and [G2532] to [G1519] Judah, [every] man to [G1519] his own city [G4172][G1438];
7: the [ones] [G3588] coming [G2064] with [G3326] Zerubbabel, and [G2532] Jeshua, and [G2532] Nehemiah, Azariah, and [G2532] Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth Bigvai, Nehum, Baana and [G2532] Masphar; men of people [G2992] of Israel --
8: sons [G5207] of Parosh, two thousand [G1367] [one] hundred [G1540] seventy-two ;
9: sons [G5207] of Shephatiah, three hundred [G5145] seventy-two ;
10: sons [G5207] of Arah, six hundred [G1812] fifty-two ;
11: sons [G5207] of Pahath-moab, [with] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Jeshua, and [G2532] Joab, two thousand [G1367] eight hundred eighteen ;
12: sons [G5207] of Elam, a thousand [G5507] two hundred [G1250] fifty-four ;

43: The [G3588] Levites; sons [G5207] of Jeshua the [son the [G3588] of Kadmiel, [with] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] Hodevah, seventy-four .
44: The [G3588] singers ; sons [G5207] of Asaph, a hundred [G1540] forty-eight .
45: The [G3588] gatekeepers ; sons [G5207] of willum, sons [G5207] of Ater, sons [G5207] of Talmon, sons [G5207] of Akkub, sons [G5207] of Hatita, sons [G5207] of Shobai, a hundred [G1540] thirty-eight .
46: The [G3588] Nethinim; sons [G5207] of Ziha, sons [G5207] of Hashupha, sons [G5207] of Tabbaoth,
47: sons [G5207] of Keros, sons [G5207] of Sia, sons [G5207] of Padon,
48: sons [G5207] of Lebana, sons [G5207] of Hagaba, sons [G5207] of Shalmai,
49: sons [G5207] of Hanan, sons [G5207] of Giddel, sons [G5207] of Gahar,
50: sons [G5207] of Reaiah, sons [G5207] of Rezin, sons [G5207] of Nekoda,
51: sons [G5207] of Gazzam, sons [G5207] of Uzza, sons [G5207] of Phaseah,
52: sons [G5207] of Besai, sons [G5207] of Meunim, sons [G5207] of Nephishesim,
53: sons [G5207] of Bakbuk, sons [G5207] of Hakupha, sons [G5207] of Harhur,
54: sons [G5207] of Bazlith, sons [G5207] of Mehida, sons [G5207] of Harsha,
55: sons [G5207] of Barkos, sons [G5207] of Sisera, sons [G5207] of Tamah,
56: sons [G5207] of Neziah, sons [G5207] of Hatipha.
57: sons [G5207] of servants [G1401] of Solomon [were the] sons [G5207] of Sotai, sons [G5207] of Sophereth, sons [G5207] of Perida,
58: sons [G5207] of Jaala, sons [G5207] of Darkon, sons [G5207] of Giddel,
59: sons [G5207] of Shephatiah, sons [G5207] of Hattil, sons [G5207] of Pochereth, sons [G5207] of Zebaim, sons [G5207] of Amon.
60: All [G3956] the [G3588] Nethinim, and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of servants [G1401] of Solomon [were] three hundred [G5145] ninety-two .
61: And [G2532] these [G3778] went up from Tel-melah, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, Immer. And [G2532] they were not [G3756] able [G1410] to identify houses [G3624] of their families [G3965][G1473], and [G2532] their seed [G4690][G1473], if [G1487] off Israel they are .
62: sons [G5207] of Dalaiah, sons [G5207] of Tobiah, sons [G5207] of Nekoda, [were] six hundred [G1812] forty-two .
63: And [G2532] from the [G3588] priests [G2409]; sons [G5207] of Habaiah, sons [G5207] of Koz, sons [G5207] of Barzillai, which [G3739] took [G2983] off daughters [G2364] of Barzillai the [G3588] Gileadite [for] wife [G1135], and [G2532] was called [G2564] by [G1909] their name [G3686][G1473].
64: These [G3778] sought [G2212] record [G1124] of their own [G1438] the [G3588] group [G4923], and [G2532] it was not [G3756] found [G2147], and [G2532] they were thrust away off the [G3588] priesthood [G2405].
65: And [G2532] Arthasastha said [G2036] to them [G1473], that [G2443] they should not [G3361] eat [G2068] from the [G3588] pure ' of the [G3588] pures ' until [G2193] should rise up a priest [G2409] to the [G3588] lights [G5461] and [G2532] the [G3588] perfections [G5050].
66: And [G2532] was [G1096] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] in one accord [G3661], as [G5613] four [G5064] ten-thousands [G3461] and [G2532] two thousand [G1367] three hundred [G5145] sixty [G1835],
67: besides their menservants [G1401][G1473] and [G2532] their maidservants [G3814][G1473] -- these [were [G3778] seven thousand [G2035] three hundred [G5145] thirty-seven ; and [G2532] male singers and [G2532] female singers -- two hundred [G1250] forty-five .
68: [Their] horses [G2462] -- seven hundred thirty-six ; mules -- two hundred [G1250] forty-five ; camels [G2574] -- four hundred [G5071] thirty five ;
69: donkeys [G3688] -- six thousand seven hundred twenty [G1501].
70: And [G2532] from a portion [G3313] [of the] heads of the [G3588] families [G3965] gave [G1325] for [G1519] the [G3588] work [G2041], to the [G3588] Arthasastha for [G1519] a treasure [G2344] -- of gold [G5553] drachmas [G1406] a thousand [G5507], bowls [G5357] fifty [G4004], robes [G4749] for the [G3588] priests [G2409] five hundred [G4001] thirty [G5144].
71: And [G2532] from heads of the [G3588] families [G3965] they gave [G1325] into [G1519] treasuries [G2344] of the [G3588] work [G2041] of gold [G5557] money [G3546] -- ten-thousands [G3461] two [G1417], and [G2532] silver minas [G3414] two thousand [G1367] two hundred [G1250].
72: And [G2532] gave [G1325] the [G3588] rest [G2645] of the [G3588] people [G2992] of gold [G5553] drachmas [G1406] two [G1417] ten-thousands [G3461], and [G2532] silver minas [G3414] two thousand [G1367], and [G2532] garments [G4749] for the [G3588] priests [G2409] sixty-seven .
73: And [G2532] sat down [G2523] the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites, and [G2532] the [G3588] gatekeepers , and [G2532] the [G3588] singers , and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] from the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] the [G3588] Nethinim, and [G2532] all [G3956] Israel in [G1722] their cities [G4172][G1473].
