Nehemiah Chapter 11 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] were sat down [G2523] the [G3588] rulers of the [G3588] people [G2992] in [G1722] Jerusalem. And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G2645] of the [G3588] people [G2992] cast lots [G2819] to bring [G5342] one [G1520] from [every the [G3588] ten [G1176] to sit down [G2523] in [G1722] Jerusalem the [G3588] city [G4172] the [G3588] pure ', and [G2532] nine [G1767] parts [G3313] in [G1722] the [G3588] [other] cities [G4172].
2: And [G2532] blessed [G2127] the [G3588] people [G2992] all [G3956] the [G3588] men of the [G3588] [ones] willing to sit down [G2523] in [G1722] Jerusalem.
3: And [G2532] these [are [G3778] the [G3588] rulers of the [G3588] place [G5561], the ones [G3739] they sat down [G2523] in [G1722] Jerusalem, and [G2532] in [G1722] cities [G4172] of Judah. sat down [G2523] [Every] man in [G1722] his possession [G2697][G1473] in [G1722] their cities [G4172][G1473] -- Israelites, the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites, and [G2532] the [G3588] Nethinim, and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of servants [G1401] of Solomon.
4: And [G2532] in [G1722] Jerusalem were sat down [G2523] some from sons [G5207] of Judah, and [G2532] from sons [G5207] of Benjamin. From sons [G5207] of Judah; Athaiah son [G5207] of Uzziah, son [G5207] of Zechariah, son [G5207] of Amariah, son [G5207] of Shephatiah, son [G5207] of Mahalaleel, and [G2532] off the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Perez;
5: Maaseiah son [G5207] of Baruch, son [G5207] of Col-hozeh, son [G5207] of Hazaiah, son [G5207] of Adaiah, son [G5207] of Joiarib, son [G5207] of Zechariah, son [G5207] of the [G3588] Shiloni.
6: All [G3956] sons [G5207] of Perez, the [G3588] [ones] settling down [G2521] in [G1722] Jerusalem [were] four hundred [G5071] sixty-eight men of power [G1411].
7: And [G2532] these [are [G3778] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Benjamin; Sallu son [G5207] of Meshullam, son [G5207] of Joed, son [G5207] of Pedaiah, son [G5207] of Kolaiah, son [G5207] of Masseiah, son [G5207] of Ithiel, son [G5207] of Jesaiah.
8: And [G2532] after [G3694] him [G1473] Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty-eight .
9: And [G2532] Joel son [G5207] of Zichri [was] overseer [G1985] over [G1909] them [G1473]; and [G2532] Judah son [G5207] of Senuah over [G1909] the [G3588] city [G4172] [was] second [G1208].
10: Of the [G3588] priests [G2409]; even [G2532] Jadaiah son [G5207] of Joiarib, Jachin.
11: Seraiah son [G5207] of Hilkiah, son [G5207] of Meshullam, son [G5207] of Zadok, son [G5207] of Maraioth, son [G5207] of Ahitub ruling [G2233] house [G3624] of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
12: And [G2532] their brothers [G1473] doing [G4160] the [G3588] work [G2041] of the [G3588] house [G3624] -- eight hundred twenty-two ; and [G2532] Adaiah, son [G5207] of Jeroham, son [G5207] of Pelaliah, of son [G5207] of Amzi, son [G5207] of Zechariah, son [G5207] of Pashur, son [G5207] of Malchiah.
13: And [G2532] brothers of him [G1473] rulers of families [G3965] -- two hundred [G1250] forty-two ; even [G2532] Amashai son [G5207] of Azareel, son [G5207] of Sikiah, son [G5207] of Meshillemoth, son [G5207] of Immer,
14: and [G2532] brothers of him [G1473], mighty [men [G1415] of battle array -- a hundred [G1540] twenty-eight . And [G2532] overseer [G1985] over [G1909] them [G1473] [was] Zabdiel, son [G5207] of the [G3588] great ones [G3173].
15: And [G2532] from the [G3588] Levites; Shemaiah son [G5207] of Hashub, son [G5207] of Azrikam, son [G5207] of Hashabiah son [G5207] of Bunni,
16: and [G2532] Shabbethai and [G2532] Jozabad [were] over [G1909] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], outermost [G1857]; and [G2532] off the [G3588] rulers of the [G3588] Levites.
17: And [G2532] Mattaniah son [G5207] of Micha, son [G5207] Zechri son [G5207] of Asaph [was] one in charge of the [G3588] praise , and [G2532] Juda of the [G3588] prayer [G4335], and [G2532] Bakbukiah second [G1208] of [G1537] of the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473], and [G2532] Abda son [G5207] of Shammua, son [G5207] of Galal, son [G5207] of Jeduthun.
18: All [G3956] the [G3588] Levites in [G1722] the [G3588] city [G4172] the [G3588] pure ' -- two hundred [G1250] eighty-four .
19: And [G2532] the [G3588] gatekeepers ; Akkub, Talmon, and [G2532] the [G3588]ir brothers [G1473], the [G3588] [ones] guarding [G5442] at [G1722] the [G3588] gates [G4439] -- a hundred [G1540] seventy-two .
20: And the [G3588][G1161] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] Israel, and [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites [were] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of the [G3588] Judah, [every] man in [G1722] the [G3588] his inheritance [G2817][G1473].
21: And [G2532] the [G3588] Nethinim the [G3588] dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] Ophel; and [G2532] Ziha and [G2532] Gispa [were] off the [G3588] Nethinim.
22: And [G2532] overseer [G1985] of Levites in [G1722] Jerusalem [was] Uzzi son [G5207] of Bani, son [G5207] of Hashabiah, son [G5207] of Mattaniah, son [G5207] of Micha, from sons [G5207] of Asaph the [G3588] singers before work [G2041] of house [G3624] of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
23: For [G3754] a commandment [G1785] of the [G3588] king [was] upon them [G1909], and [G2532] it continued [G1265] in [G1722] trust '[G4102] unto [G1909] the [G3588] singers a reckoning [G3056] each [G1538] day [G2250] in [G1722] the [G3588] its day [G2250][G1473].
24: And [G2532] Pethahiah son [G5207] of Meshezabeel off the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Zerah, son [G5207] of Judah, [was] by [G4314] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] king for [G1519] all [G3956] words '[G3056] [concerning] the [G3588] people [G2992].
25: And [G2532] for [G4314] the [G3588] properties [G1886] in [G1722] their fields [G1473], [G2532] [some] from sons [G5207] of Judah sat down [G2523] in [G1722] Kirjath-arba, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] her daughter [towns [G2364][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] Dibon, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] her daughter [towns [G2364][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] Jekabseel, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] her courtyards [G1473],
26: and [G2532] in [G1722] Jeshua, and [G2532] in [G1722] Moladah, and [G2532] in [G1722] Beth-phelet,
27: and [G2532] in [G1722] Hazar-shual and [G2532] in [G1722] Beer-sheba, and [G2532] the [G3588] her daughter [towns [G2364][G1473],
28: and [G2532] in [G1722] Ziklag, and [G2532] in [G1722] Mabne, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] her daughter [towns [G2364],
29: and [G2532] in [G1722] Rimmon, and [G2532] in [G1722] Zereah, and [G2532] in [G1722] Jarmuth,
30: and [G2532] in [G1722] Zanoah, and [G2532] Adullam, and [G2532] the [G3588] her properties [G1886][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] Lachish, and [G2532] the [G3588] her fields [G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] Azekah, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] her daughter [towns [G2364][G1473]. And [G2532] they camped in [G1722] Beer-sheba unto [G2193] ravine [G5327] of Hinnom.
31: And [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Benjamin [dwelt] from Geba and [G2532] [unto] Michmash, and [G2532] Aija, and [G2532] Beth-el, and [G2532] the [G3588] her daughter [towns [G2364][G1473];
32: and [G2532] in [G1722] Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33: Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34: Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35: Lod, and [G2532] Ono-kareseim.
36: And [G2532] of [G1537] the [G3588] Levites there were portions [G3310] in [G1722] the [G3588] Judah and [G2532] Benjamin.
