Matthew Chapter 21 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] when [G3753] they approached [G1448] unto [G1519] Jerusalem, and [G2532] came [G2064] into [G1519] Bethphage, to [G4314] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of the [G3588] olives [G1636], then [G5119] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) sent two [G1417] disciples [G3101],
2: saying [G3004] to them [G1473], Go [G4198] into [G1519] the [G3588] town [G2968], the [G3588] [one] before you [G1473]! And [G2532] immediately [G2112] you will find [G2147] a donkey [G3688] being tied [G1210], and [G2532] a foal [G4454] with [G3326] her [G1473]; having untied [G3089] convey ' [them] to me [G1473]!
3: And [G2532] if [G1437] anyone [G5100] to you [G1473] should say [G2036] anything [G5100], you say [G2046] that [G3754], the [G3588] boss [G2962] of them [G1473] need [G5532] has [G2192]; immediately [G2112] and [G1161] he sends them [G1473].
4: This [G3778] and [G1161] entirely [G3650] came to pass [G1096], that [G2443] should be fulfilled [G4137] the [thing] [G3588] having been spoken [G4483] through [G1223] the [G3588] prophet [G4396], saying [G3004],
5: Say [G2036] to the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Zion! look [G2400], the [G3588] king of you [G1473] comes [G2064] to you [G1473], cooperative [G4239], and [G2532] being mounted [G1910] upon [G1909] a donkey [G3688], and [G2532] a foal [G4454], an offspring [G5207] of a beast of burden [G5268].
6: having gone [G4198] And [G1161] the [G3588] disciples [G3101], and [G2532] having done [G4160] as [G2531] assigned [G4367] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]),
7: they conveyed ' the [G3588] donkey [G3688] and [G2532] the [G3588] foal [G4454], and [G2532] they placed [G2007] upon [G1883] them [G1473] the [G3588]ir cloaks [G2440][G1473], and [G2532] he sat [G1940] upon [G1883] them [G1473].
8: And the [G3588][G1161] greatest [part [G4183] of crowd [G3793] spread out [G4766] their own [G1438] the [G3588] cloaks [G2440] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598]; and others [G1161] beat [G2875] branches [G2798] from the [G3588] trees [G1186], and [G2532] spread [them] out [G4766] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598].
9: And the [G3588][G1161] crowds [G3793], the [G3588] [ones] leading before [G4254] and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] following , cried out [G2896], saying [G3004], Hosanna [G5614] to the [G3588] son [G5207] of David. Being blessed [G2127] [is] the [G3588] [one] coming [G2064] in [G1722] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962]; hosanna [G5614] in [G1722] the [G3588] highest [G5310].
10: And [G2532] in his entering [G1525][G1473] into [G1519] Jerusalem, was shaken [G4579] all [G3956] the [G3588] city [G4172], saying [G3004], Who [G5100] is this [G3778]?
11: And the [G3588][G1161] crowds [G3793] said [G3004], This [G3778] is Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] prophet [G4396], the [G3588] [one] from Nazareth the [G3588] of Galilee.
12: And [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) entered [G1525] the [G3588] into [G1519] the [G3588] temple [G2413] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] he cast out [G1544] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] selling [G4453] and [G2532] buying in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G2413]; and [G2532] the [G3588] tables [G5132] of the [G3588] money-changers [G2855] he overturned [G2690], and [G2532] the [G3588] chairs [G2515] of the [G3588] [ones] selling [G4453] the [G3588] doves [G4058].
13: And [G2532] he says [G3004] to them [G1473], It is written [G1125], the [G3588] My house [G3624][G1473] a house [G3624] of prayer [G4335] will be called [G2564]; but you [G1473][G1161] made it [G1473][G4160] a cave [G4693] of robbers [G3027].
14: And [G2532] came forward [G4334] to him [G1473] lame [G5560] and [G2532] blind [G5185] in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G2413]; and [G2532] he cured [G2323] them [G1473].
15: looking [at] [G1492] And [G1161] the [G3588] chief priests and [G2532] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613])] the [G3588] wonders [G2297] which [G3739] he did [G4160], and [G2532] the [G3588] children [G3816] crying out [G2896] in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G2413], and [G2532] saying [G3004], Hosanna [G5614] to the [G3588] son [G5207] of David; they were indignant .
16: And [G2532] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], Do you hear what [G5100] these [G3778] say [G3004]? the [G3588] And [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) says [G3004] to them [G1473], Yes [G3483], at no time [G3763] did you read that [G3754], From out of [G1537] mouth [G4750] of infants [G3516] and [G2532] nursing ones [G2337] I readied [G2675] praise ?
17: And [G2532] leaving [G2641] them [G1473], he came forth [G1831] outside [G1854] the [G3588] city [G4172] into [G1519] Bethany; and [G2532] he lodged there [G1563].
18: And in the morning [G4405][G1161] turning back [G1877] into [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172], he hungered [G3983].
19: And [G2532] looking [at] [G1492] fig-tree [G4808] one [G1520] upon [G1909] the [G3588] way [G3598], he came [G2064] unto [G1909] it [G1473] and [G2532] nothing [G3762] found [G2147] on [G1722] it [G1473] except [G1508] leaves [G5444] only [G3440]. And [G2532] he says [G3004] to it [G1473], No longer [G3371] from [G1537] you [G1473] fruit [G2590] [should] be produced [G1096] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `. And [G2532] 4dried up [G3583] 1immediately [G3916] 2the the [G3588] 3fig-tree [G4808].
20: And [G2532] looking [at] [G1492], the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] marveled [G2296], saying [G3004], How did [G4459] immediately [G3916] dry up [G3583] the [G3588] fig-tree [G4808]?
21: And answering [G1161] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to them [G1473], Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], If [G1437] you should have [G2192] trust '[G4102], and [G2532] should not [G3361] examine [G1252], not [G3756] only [G3440] the [thing] [G3588] of the [G3588] fig-tree [G4808] will you do [G4160], but even if [G2579] [to the [G3588] this raised-place (mountain) '[G3735][G3778] you should say [G2036], Be lifted and [G2532] be thrown into [G1519] the [G3588] sea [G2281]! it will come to pass [G1096].
22: And [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] you should have asked in [G1722] the [G3588] prayer [G4335], trusting '[G4100], you will receive [G2983].
23: And [G2532] in his coming [G2064][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] temple [G2413], came forward [G4334] to him [G1473] [while] teaching [G1321], the [G3588] chief priests and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] people [G2992], saying [G3004], By [G1722] what [G4169] authority [G1849] do you do these [things] [G3778][G4160], and [G2532] who [G5100] gave to you [G1473][G1325] the [G3588] this authority [G1849][G3778]?
24: And answering [G1161] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to them [G1473], I will ask [G2065] you [G1473] also [G2504] word [G3056] one [G1520], which [G3739] if [G1437] you should tell [G2036] to me [G1473], I also [G2504] will tell to you [G1473][G2046] by [G1722] what [G4169] authority [G1849] I do these [things] [G3778][G4160].
25: The [G3588] submergence of John, from what place [G4159] was it ? From [G1537] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] or [G2228] from [G1537] men ? And they the [G3588][G1161] argued [G1260] by [G3844] themselves [G1438], saying [G3004], If [G1437] we should say [G2036], From [G1537] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; he will say [G2046] to us [G1473], Why [G1302] then [G3767] did you not [G3756] trust '[G4100] him [G1473]?
26: And if [G1437][G1161] we should say [G2036], From [G1537] men ; we fear [G5399] the [G3588] crowd [G3793]. For all [G3956][G1063] hold [G2192] the [G3588] John as [G5613] a prophet [G4396].
27: And [G2532] answering [to the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) they said [G2036], We do not [G3756] know [G1492]. He said [G5346] to them [G1473] also [G2532] himself [G1473], Nor [G3761] I [G1473] tell [G3004] to you [G1473] by [G1722] what [G4169] authority [G1849] I do these [things] [G3778][G4160].
28: But what [G5100][G1161] do you [G1473] think [G1380]? A man certain [G5100] had [G2192] children [G5043] two [G1417]. And [G2532] having come forward [G4334] to the [G3588] first [G4413], he said [G2036], Child [G5043], go [G5217]! today [G4594] work [G2038] in [G1722] the [G3588] my vineyard [G1473]!
29: the [G3588] And [G1161] responding he said [G2036], I do not want [to [G3756][G2309]. But afterwards [G5305][G1161], having changed his mind [G3338] he went forth .
30: And [G2532] having come forward [G4334] to the [G3588] second [G1208], he said [G2036] likewise [G5615]. And he the [G3588][G1161] answering said [G2036], I [will [G1473], O boss [G2962]. and [G2532] he did not [G3756] go forth .
31: Which [G5100] of [G1537] the [G3588] two [G1417] did [G4160] the [G3588] will [G2307] of the [G3588] father [G3962]? They say [G3004] to him [G1473], the [G3588] first [G4413]. says [G3004] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], that [G3754], the [G3588] tax collectors [G5057] and [G2532] the [G3588] harlots [G4204] go before [G4254] you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
32: came [G2064] For [G1063] to [G4314] you [G1473] John] in [G1722] way [G3598] of righteousness [G1343], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] trust '[G4100] him [G1473], but the [G3588][G1161] tax collectors [G5057] and [G2532] the [G3588] harlots [G4204] trusted '[G4100] him [G1473]. But you [G1473][G1161] having seen [G1492] did not [G3756] repent [G3338] afterwards [G5305] the [G3588] to trust '[G4100] him [G1473].
33: Another paralell '[G3850] hear ! A man certain [G5100] was boss of a house [G3617], who [G3748] planted [G5452] a vineyard , and [G2532] a barrier [G5418] for it [G1473] he put around [G4060], and [G2532] he dug [G3736] in [G1722] it [G1473] a wine vat [G3025], and [G2532] built [G3618] a tower [G4444], and [G2532] handed it over [G1554][G1473] to growers [G1092], and [G2532] he traveled abroad .
34: And when [G3753][G1161] approached [G1448] the [G3588] season [G2540] of the [G3588] fruits [G2590], he sent the [G3588] his servants [G1401][G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] growers [G1092] to receive [G2983] of the [G3588] his fruits [G2590][G1473].
35: And [G2532] having taken [G2983] the [G3588] growers [G1092] the [G3588] his servants [G1401][G1473], one [G3739][G3303] they flayed [G1194], and one [G3739][G1161] they killed , and one [G3739][G1161] they stoned [G3036].
36: Again [G3825] he sent other servants [G1401] more [G4183] [than] the [G3588] first [G4413]; and [G2532] they did [G4160] to them [G1473] likewise [G5615].
37: And afterwards [G5305][G1161] he sent to [G4314] them [G1473] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], saying [G3004], They will respect [G1788] the [G3588] my son [G5207][G1473].
38: And the [G3588][G1161] growers [G1092] seeing [G1492] the [G3588] son [G5207], said [G2036] among [G1722] themselves [G1438], This [G3778] is the [G3588] heir [G2818]; come [G1205], we should kill him [G1473], and [G2532] take control [G2722] of the [G3588] his inheritance [G2817][G1473].
39: And [G2532] having taken [G2983], they cast [G1544] him [G1473] outside [G1854] the [G3588] vineyard , and [G2532] killed [him .
40: Whenever [G3752] then [G3767] will come [G2064] the [G3588] boss [G2962] of the [G3588] vineyard , what [G5100] will he do [G4160] the [G3588] to those growers [G1092][G1565]?
41: They say [G3004] to him [G1473], evil men [G2556], harshly [G2560] he will destroy them [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] vineyard he will hand over [G1554] to other growers [G1092], the ones who [G3748] will render to him [G1473] the [G3588] fruits [G2590] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir seasons [G2540][G1473].
42: says [G3004] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), At no time [G3763] did you read in [G1722] the [G3588] scriptures [G1124]? stone [G3037] which [G3739] rejected the [G3588] [ones] building [G3618], this one [G3778] became [G1096] as [G1519] head [G2776] corner [stone [G1137]; by [G3844] Boss '[G2962] this happened [G1096][G3778], and [G2532] it is wonderful [G2298] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of us [G1473].
43: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] I say [G3004] to you [G1473], that [G3754], will be lifted away from you [G1473] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] will be given [G1325] to an tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] producing [G4160] the [G3588] fruits [G2590] of it [G1473].
44: And [G2532] the [G3588] [one] falling [G4098] upon [G1909] the [G3588] this stone [G3037][G3778] will be fractured in pieces [G4917]; upon [G1909] whom [G3739] but [G1161] ever it should fall [G4098] it will winnow [G3039] him [G1473].
45: And [G2532] hearing the [G3588] chief priests and [G2532] the [G3588] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]) the [G3588] his paralells '[G3850][G1473], knew [G1097] that [G3754] about [G4012] them [G1473] he speaks [G3004].
46: And [G2532] seeking [G2212] to hold him [G1473][G2902], they feared [G5399] the [G3588] crowds [G3793], since [G1894] as [G5613] a prophet [G4396] they held him [G1473][G2192].
