Luke Chapter 10 - | Early Church Bible

1: And after [G3326][G1161] these [things] [G3778], made manifest the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] even [G2532] another [G2087] seventy [G1440], and [G2532] sent them [G1473] by two [G1417] before [G4253] his face [G4383][G1473] into [G1519] every [G3956] city [G4172] and [G2532] place [G5117] where [G3739] he was about [G3195][G1473] to come [G2064].
2: Then he said [G3004][G3767] to [G4314] them [G1473], Indeed the [G3588][G3303] harvest [G2326] [is] great [G4183], but the [G3588][G1161] workers [G2040] few [G3641]; beseech [G1189] then [G3767] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of the [G3588] harvest [G2326]! that [G3704] he should put [G1544] workers [G2040] into [G1519] the [G3588] his harvest [G2326][G1473].
3: Go [G5217]! look [G2400], I [G1473] send you [G1473] as [G5613] lambs in [G1722] midst [G3319] of wolves [G3074].
4: Do not [G3361] bear a bag , nor [G3361] provision [G4082], nor [G3366] sandals [G5266]! and [G2532] no one [G3367] in [G2596] the [G3588] way [G3598] should you greet .
5: into [G1519] which [G3739] And [G1161] ever house [G3614] you should enter [G1525], first [G4412] say [G3004]! Peace [G1515] [to the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778].
6: And [G2532] if [G1437] there might be there [G1563] a son [G5207] of peace [G1515], will rest [G1879] upon [G1909] him [G1473] the [G3588] your peace [G1515][G1473]; but if not [G1490], unto [G1909] you [G1473] it will return .
7: in [G1722] same [G1473] And [G1161] the [G3588] house [G3614] abide [G3306]! eating [G2068] and [G2532] drinking [G4095] the [things] [G3588] of [G3844] theirs [G1473]; worthy for [G1063] the [G3588] worker [G2040] of the [G3588] his wage [G3408][G1473] is ! Do not [G3361] cross over [G3327] from [G1537] house [G3614] to [G1519] house [G3614]!
8: And [G2532] into [G1519] what [G1161][G3739] ever city [G4172] you should enter [G1525], and [G2532] they should receive [G1209] you [G1473], eat [G2068] the [things] [G3588] being placed near [G3908] to you [G1473]!
9: And [G2532] attend to [G2323] the [G3588] in it [G1722][G1473] weak ! and [G2532] say [G3004] to them [G1473]! approaches [G1448] unto [G1909] you [G1473] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
10: into [G1519] which [G3739] And [G1161] ever city [G4172] you should enter [G1525], and [G2532] they should not [G3361] receive [G1209] you [G1473], having gone forth [G1831] into [G1519] the [G3588] its square [G4113][G1473], you say [G2036]!
11: Even [G2532] the [G3588] dust [G2868] the [G3588] cleaving [G2853] to us [G1473] from the [G3588] your city [G4172][G1473] we wipe off against you [G1473]. Except [G4133] know this [G3778][G1473]! that [G3754] has approached [G1448] unto [G1909] you [G1473] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
12: But I say [G3004][G1161] to you [G1473] that [G3754], to Sodom in [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] that [G1565] it will be more endurable than [G2228] [to the [G3588] that city [G4172][G1565].
13: Woe [G3759] to you [G1473] Chorazin. Woe [G3759] to you [G1473] Bethsaida. for [G3754] if [G1487] in [G1722] Tyre and [G2532] Sidon took place [G1096] the [G3588] [works of] power [G1411] which the [G3588] took place [G1096] in [G1722] you [G1473], even earlier [G3819] in [G1722] sackcloth [G4526] and [G2532] ashes [G4700] sitting [G2521] they would have repented [G3340].
14: Furthermore [G4133] to Tyre and [G2532] Sidon it will be more endurable in [G1722] the [G3588] judgment [G2920], than [G2228] for you [G1473].
15: And [G2532] you [G1473], Capernaum, the [G3588] [one] unto [G2193] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] having been raised up high [G5312]; unto [G2193] Hades you will be brought down [G2601].
16: the [one] [G3588] hearing you [G1473], hears me [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] disregarding you [G1473], disregards me [G1473]; and the [G3588] [one] [G1161] disregarding me [G1473], disregards the [G3588] [one] having sent me [G1473].
17: returned [G5290] And [G1161] the [G3588] seventy [G1440] with [G3326] joy [G5479], saying [G3004], O Boss '[G2962], even [G2532] the [G3588] demons [G1140] are submitted [G5293] to us [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473].
18: And he said [G2036][G1161] to them [G1473], I viewed [G2334] the [G3588] Satan [G4567] as [G5613] lightning from out of [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] falling [G4098].
19: look [G2400], I give [G1325] to you [G1473] the [G3588] authority [G1849] the [G3588] to tread [G3961] upon [G1883] serpents [G3789] and [G2532] scorpions [G4651], and [G2532] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] power [G1411] of the [G3588] enemy [G2190]; and [G2532] nothing [G3762] you [G1473] in any way will injure .
20: Furthermore [G4133] in [G1722] this [G3778] rejoice not [G3361][G5463]! that [G3754] the [G3588] blowing airs (ghosts) '[G4151] submit to you [G1473][G5293]. But you rejoice [G5463][G1161]! that [G3754] the [G3588] your names [G3686][G1473] are written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772].
21: In [G1722] the same [G1473] the [G3588] hour [G5610] jumped much in the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), and [G2532] said [G2036], I make acknowledgment [G1843] to you [G1473], O father [G3962], O Boss '[G2962] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] and [G2532] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], that [G3754] you concealed these [things] [G3778] from wise [G4680] and [G2532] experts [G4908], and [G2532] uncovered them [G1473] to simple ones [G3516]; Yes [G3483], O the [G3588] father [G3962], for [G3754] thus [G3779] it was [G1096] benevolent [G2107] before [G1715] you [G1473].
22: And [G2532] turning [G4762] to [G4314] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] he said [G2036], All [things] [G3956] were delivered up [G3860] to me [G1473] by [G5259] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473]; and [G2532] no one [G3762] knows [G1097] who [G5100] is the [G3588] son [G5207], except [G1508] the [G3588] father [G3962], and [G2532] who [G5100] is the [G3588] father [G3962], except [G1508] the [G3588] son [G5207], and [G2532] to whom [G3739] ever [G1437] wants [G1014] the [G3588] son [G5207] to reveal .
23: And [G2532] having turned [G4762] to [G4314] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] in [G2596] private [G2398] he said [G2036], Blessed [G3107] [are] the [G3588] eyes [G3788], the [G3588] [ones] seeing what [G3739] you see .
24: For I say [G3004][G1063] to you [G1473], that [G3754] many [G4183] prophets [G4396] and [G2532] kings wanted [G2309] to see [G1492] what [G3739] you [G1473] see , and [G2532] saw not [G3756][G1492]; and [G2532] to hear what [G3739] you hear , and [G2532] heard not [G3756].
25: And [G2532] look [G2400], a certain legal expert [G3544][G5100] rose up putting him to test [G1598][G1473], and [G2532] saying [G3004], Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38], what [G5100] having done [G4160], life [G2222] of the term (age) ' will I inherit [G2816]?
26: the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], In [G1722] the [G3588] law [G3551], what [G5100] has been written [G1125]? How [G4459] do you read ?
27: the [G3588] And [G1161] answering he said [G2036], You will love Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] with [G1537] all [G3650] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] with [G1537] all [G3650] the [G3588] your soul [G5590][G1473], and [G2532] with [G1537] all [G3650] the [G3588] your strength [G2479][G1473], and [G2532] with [G1537] all [G3650] the [G3588] your thought [G1271][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your neighbor [G4139][G1473] as [G5613] yourself [G4572].
28: And he said [G2036][G1161] to him [G1473], Rightly [G3723] you answered ; do this [G3778][G4160] and [G2532] you will live [G2198]!
29: But he the [G3588][G1161] wanting [G2309] to justify [G1344] himself [G1438], said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), And [G2532] who [G5100] is my [G1473] neighbor [G4139]?
30: And undertaking [G5274][G1161], the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036], A man certain [G5100] went down [G2597] from Jerusalem unto [G1519] Jericho, and [G2532] robbers [G3027] fell among [G4045], the ones who [G3739] both [G2532] having stripped [G1562] him [G1473], and [G2532] wounds [upon him [G4127] having placed [G2007], went forth leaving [him half-dead [G2253] happening by chance [G5177].
31: by [G2596] chance [G4795] And [G1161] a certain priest [G2409][G5100] went down [G2597] by [G1722] the [G3588] that way [G3598][G1565]; and [G2532] looking [at] [G1492] him [G1473], he passed by on the other side .
32: And in like manner [G3668][G1161] also [G2532] a Levite, being [G1096] at [G2596] the [G3588] place [G5117], having come [G2064] and [G2532] looking [at] [G1492], passed by on the other side .
33: But a certain Samaritan [G1161][G5100], traveling [G3593], came [G2064] by [G2596] him [G1473]; and [G2532] looking [at] [G1492] him [G1473], he was moved with compassion [G4697].
34: And [G2532] having come forward [G4334], he bound [G2611] the [G3588] his wounds [G5134][G1473], pouring on [G2022] oil [G1637] and [G2532] wine [G3631]; and having set [G1913][G1161] him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his own [G2398] beast [G2934], he conveyed ' him [G1473] unto [G1519] an inn [G3829], and [G2532] took care [G1959] of him [G1473].
35: And [G2532] on [G1909] the [G3588] next morning , having come forth [G1831], casting down [G1544] two [G1417] denarii [G1220], he gave [them [G1325] to the [G3588] inn-keeper [G3830], and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], Take care [G1959] of him [G1473]! and [G2532] whatsoever [G3739][G5100] you should spend besides [G4325], I [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] my returning back [G1880][G1473] will repay to you [G1473].
36: Which [G5100] then [G3767] of these [G3778] the [G3588] three [G5140] seems [G1380] to you [G1473] neighbor [G4139] to have been [G1096] of the [G3588] [one] having fallen [G1706] among [G1519] the [G3588] robbers [G3027]?
37: And he the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], the [G3588] [one] having [G4160] the [G3588] compassion [G1656] with [G3326] him [G1473]. said [G2036] then [G3767] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Go [G4198], and [G2532] you [G1473] do [G4160] in like manner [G3668]!
38: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir going [G4198][G1473], that [G2532] he [G1473] entered [G1525] into [G1519] a certain town [G2968][G5100]. woman [G1135] And [G1161] a certain [G5100], by name [G3686] Martha, welcomed [G5264] him [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] her house [G3624][G1473].
39: And [G2532] thus [G3592] there was a sister being called [G2564] Mary, who [G3739] also [G2532] having sat [G3869] by [G3844] the [G3588] feet [G4228] of the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), heard the [G3588] word [G3056] of him [G1473].
40: the [G3588] But [G1161] Martha was distracted [G4049] about [G4012] much [G4183] service [G1248], and having stood by [G2186][G1161], she said [G2036], O Boss '[G2962], is it no [G3756] care [G3199] to you [G1473] that [G3754] the [G3588] my sister [G1473] alone [G3441] left me [G1473][G2641] to serve [G1247]? Speak [G2036] then [G3767] to her [G1473] that [G2443] she should aid me [G1473][G4878]!
41: And answering [G1161] said [G2036] to her [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Martha, Martha, you are anxious [G3309] and [G2532] turbulent [G5182] concerning [G4012] many [things] [G4183].
42: one [G1520] But [G1161] there is need [G5532], and Mary [G1161] the [G3588] good portion [G3310] chose [G1586], which [G3748] will not [G3756] be removed from her [G1473].
