1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] after [G3326] the [G3588] was taken captive the [G3588] Israel], and [G2532] Jerusalem was made desolate [G2049], Jeremiah sat down [G2523] weeping [G2799], and [G2532] he wailed [G2354] the [G3588] this lamentation [G2355][G3778] over [G1909] Jerusalem, and [G2532] he said [G2036], How [G4459] does sit down [G2523] alone [G3441] the [G3588] city [G4172] the [G3588] being filled [G4130] with peoples [G2992]; she became [G1096] as [G5613] a widow [G5503], becoming filled [G4130] among [G1722] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]; ruling in [G1722] regions [G5561], she became [G1096] for [G1519] tribute [G5411].
2: In weeping [G2799], she wept [G2799] in [G1722] night [G3571], and [G2532] the [G3588] her tears [G1144][G1473] [are] upon [G1909] the [G3588] her cheeks [G4600][G1473], and [G2532] no one [G3756] existed [G5224] the [G3588] comforting [G3870] her [G1473] from all [G3956] of the [G3588] [ones] loving her [G1473]. All [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] being fond of [G5368] her [G1473] discarded [G1722] her [G1473], they became [G1096] to her [G1473] for [G1519] enemies [G2190].
3: Judea was displaced [G3351] because off her humiliation [G5014][G1473], and [G2532] because off multitude [G4128] of her servitude [G1397][G1473]. She sits down [G2523] among [G1722] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], she did not [G3756] find [G2147] rest . All [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] pursuing [G2614] her [G1473] overtook [G2638] her [G1473] in the midst of the [G3588] [ones] afflicting [G2346].
4: ways [G3598] of Zion mourn [G3996] by [reason of [G3844] the [G3588]re not being [G3361] ones coming [G2064] to [G1722] holiday [feast [G1859]. All [G3956] the [G3588] her gates [G4439][G1473] have been obliterated . the [G3588] Her priests [G2409][G1473] are groaning , the [G3588] her virgins [G3933][G1473] are being conveyed ' [captive], and [G2532] she [G1473] is being embittered [G4087] in [G1722] herself [G1438].
5: became [G1096] the [G3588] [ones] afflicting [G2346] her [G1473] [G1519] head [G2776], and [G2532] the [G3588] her enemies [G2190][G1473] are straightened ; for [G3754] Boss '[G2962] humbled [G5013] her [G1473] over [G1909] the [G3588] multitude [G4128] of the [G3588] her impieties [G1473]. the [G3588] Her infants [G3516][G1473] went [G4198] into [G1722] captivity in front [G2596][G4383] [of the] one afflicting [G2346].
6: And [G2532] went forth [G1831] from [G1537] daughter [G2364] of Zion all [G3956] the [G3588] her beauty [G2143][G1473]. became [G1096] the [G3588] Her rulers [G1473] as [G5613] rams not [G3756] finding [G2147] pasture [G3542], and [G2532] going [G4198] with [G1722] no [G3756] strength [G2479] in front [G2596][G4383] [of the] one pursuing [G1377].
7: Jerusalem remembered [G3403] days [G2250] of her humiliation [G5014][G1473], and [G2532] her repulsions [G1473]. All [G3956] the [G3588] her desirable [things] [G1473], as many as [G3745] were from [G1537] days [G2250] ancient during [G1722] the [G3588] falling [G4098] of the [G3588] her people [G2992][G1473] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of one afflicting [G2346], and [G2532] there was no one [G3756] the [G3588] helping her [G1473]. Seeing [G1492], the [G3588] her enemies [G2190][G1473] laughed [G1070] upon [G1909][G2532] her displacement [G3350][G1473].
8: a sin sinned Jerusalem]; on account of [G1223] this [G3778] for [G1519] tossing about [G4535] she became [G1096]. All [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] glorifying [G1392] her [G1473] humbled [G5013] her [G1473], for they looked [at] [G1492][G1063] the [G3588] her indecency [G1473]. And [G2532] indeed [G1065] she [G1473] is moaning herself [G4727] and [G2532] turns to the rear [G1519] the [G3588][G3694].
9: Her uncleanness [G1473] [is] before [G4314] her feet [G4228][G1473], she did not [G3756] remember [G3403] her end [G2078][G1473], and [G2532] she brought down [G2601] enormously [G5246]. There is no [G3756] the [G3588] comforting [G3870] her [G1473]. Look [at] [G1492] O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] my humiliation [G5014][G1473], for [G3754] was magnified [G3170] the [G3588] enemy [G2190]!
10: his hand [G5495][G1473] spread forth [G1600] the [G3588] [one] afflicting [G2346] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] desirable [things] of hers [G1473]. For she saw [G1492][G1063] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] entering [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] her sanctuary [G1473] -- the ones which [G3739] I charged [G1781] not [G3361] to enter [G1525] them [G1473] into [G1519] your assembly [G1577][G1473].
11: All [G3956] the [G3588] her people [G2992][G1473] [are] groaning seeking [G2212] bread . They gave [G1325] the [G3588] desirable [things] of hers [G1473] for [G1722] food [G1035] the [G3588] to restore [G1994] [their] soul [G5590]. Look [at] [G1492], O Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] look upon [G1914]! for [G3754] she became [G1096] as one being disgraced .
12: the [ones] the [G3588] to [G4314] you [G1473] All [G3956] coming near [G3899] in way [G3598] turn [G1994] and [G2532] see [G1492] if [G1487] there is a pain as [G5613] my pain [G1473] which [G3739] happened [to me [G1096]. The one uttering a sound [G5350] to [G1722] me [G1473] humbled [G5013] me [G1473] -- Boss '[G2962] in [G1722] a day [G2250] of anger [G3709] of his rage [G2372][G1473].
13: From out of [G1537] his height [G5311][G1473] he sent fire [G4442] in [G1722] the [G3588] my bones [G3747][G1473], and [G2532] he led it down [G2609][G1473]. He opened and spread out a net [G1350] for the [G3588] my feet [G4228][G1473]. He turned me [G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] rear [G3694]. He appointed [G1325] me [G1473] for being removed from view ; an entire [G3650] the [G3588] day [G2250] for grieving [G3600].
14: He was vigilant [G1127] concerning [G1909] the [G3588] my acts of impiety [G1473]; in [G1722] my hands [G5495][G1473] they are closely joined ; they went up unto [G1909] the [G3588] my neck [G5137][G1473]. is weakened the [G3588] My strength [G2479][G1473], for [G3754] BOSS put [G1325][G2962] in [G1722] my hands [G5495][G1473] griefs [G3601]; I will not [G3756] be able [G1410] to stand [G2476].
15: lifted away [G1808] all [G3956] the [G3588] my strong men [G2478][G1473] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] from [G1537] midst [G3319] of me [G1473]. He called [G2564] upon [G1909] me [G1473] a time [G2540] the [G3588] to break [G4937] my choice men [G1588][G1473]. wine vat [G3025] trod [G3961] Boss '[G2962] [for the] virgin [G3933] daughter [G2364] of Judah.
16: Over [G1909] these things [G3778] I [G1473] weep [G2799]; the [G3588] my eye [G3788][G1473] led down [G2609] water [G5204], For [G3754] far from me [G1473] [is] the [G3588] [one] comforting [G3870] me [G1473], the [one] the [G3588] restoring [G1994] soul [G5590] of me [G1473]. were [G1096] the [G3588] sons [G5207] My [G1473] obliterated , for [G3754] conquered [G2901] the [G3588] enemy [G2190].
17: Zion opened and spread out her hands [G5495][G1473]; there is no one [G3756] the [G3588] comforting [G3870] her [G1473]. BOSS gave charge [G1781][G2962] to the [G3588] Jacob; round about [G2945] him [G1473] [are] the [G3588] [ones] afflicting [G2346] him [G1473]. Jerusalem was [G1096] as [G1519] a woman sitting apart [unclean in the midst of them [G1473].
18: just [G1342] is Boss '[G2962]; for [G3754] the [G3588] his mouth [G4750][G1473] I greatly embittered [G3893]. Hear indeed [G1211] all [G3956] the [G3588] peoples [G2992], and [G2532] look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] my pain [G1473]! My virgins [G3933][G1473] and [G2532] my young men [G3495][G1473] were gone [G4198] into [G1722] captivity .
19: I called [G2564] the [G3588] my lovers [G1473], but they [G1473][G1161] misled [G3884] me [G1473]. the [G3588] My priests [G2409][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] my elders [G4245][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] city [G4172] failed [G1587], for [G3754] they sought [G2212] food [G1035] for themselves [G1473], that [G2443] they should restore [G1994] their lives [G5590][G1473].
20: look [at] [G1492], O Boss '[G2962], for [G3754] I am afflicted [G2346]! the [G3588] My belly [G2836][G1473] was disturbed [G5015], and [G2532] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] was turned [G4762] within [G1722] me [G1473]; greatly embittering [G3893] I was embittered [G3893]. Outside [G1855] made me childless [G1473] sword [G3162], as if [G5618] a death [G2288] in [G1722] house [G3624].
21: Hear indeed [G1211]! for [G3754] I moan [G4727][G1473]. There not [G3756] is the [G3588] [one] comforting [G3870] me [G1473]. All [G3956] the [G3588] enemies [G2190] of me [G1473] heard the [G3588] bad things [G2556] [concerning] me [G1473], and [G2532] they rejoice [G5463] that [G3754] you [G1473] did [it [G4160]. You brought on [G1863] day [G2250]; you called [G2564] time [G2540], they became [G1096] alike [G3664] to me [G1473].
22: May enter [G1525] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir evils [G2549][G1473] before [G2596] face [G4383] of you [G1473]. And [G2532] glean them [G1473]! in which [G3739] manner [G5158] they made [G4160] a gleaning for [G4012] all [G3956] of the [G3588] my sins [G1473]. for [G3754] [are] many [G4183] the [G3588] my moanings [G4726][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] frets [G3076].
