John Chapter 3 - | Early Church Bible

1: And there was [G1161] a man of [G1537] the [G3588] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]), Nicodemus [was the] name [G3686] to him [G1473], a ruler of the [G3588] Jews.
2: This one [G3778] came [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) by night [G3571], and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], Rabbi [G4461] ["Teacher [G1320]" John 1:38], we know [G1492] that [G3754] from God '[G2316] you have come [G2064] [as] a Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38]; for no one [G3762][G1063] these [G3778] the [G3588] signs [G4592] is able [G1410] to do [G4160] which [G3739] you [G1473] do [G4160], unless [G1437][G3361] God should be the [G3588][G2316] with [G3326] him [G1473].
3: Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) responded the [G3588] and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], Amen , amen , I say [G3004] to you [G1473], Unless [G1437][G3361] one [G5100] should be born [G1080] from above , he is not able [G3756][G1410] to look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
4: says [G3004] to [G4314] him [G1473] the [G3588] Nicodemus], How [G4459] is able [G1410] a man to be born [G1080] being aged [G1088]? Is he able [G3361][G1410] into [G1519] the [G3588] belly [G2836] of the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] a second [time] [G1208] to enter [G1525], and [G2532] be born [G1080]?
5: Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) answered the [G3588], Amen , amen , I say [G3004] to you [G1473], Unless [G1437][G3361] one [G5100] should be born [G1080] of [G1537] water [G5204] and [G2532] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151], he is not able [G3756][G1410] to enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
6: the [one] [G3588] being born [G1080] of [G1537] the [G3588] flesh [G4561] is flesh [G4561]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] being born [G1080] of [G1537] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] is wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151].
7: You should not wonder [G3361][G2296] that [G3754] I said [G2036] to you [G1473], It is necessary [G1163] for you [G1473] to be born [G1080] from above .
8: The [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] where [G3699] it wants [G2309] blows [G4154], and [G2532] the [G3588] its sound [G5456][G1473] you hear , but you know not [G3756][G1492] from what place [G4159] it comes [G2064], and [G2532] where [G4226] it goes [G5217]; so [G3779] is every [one [G3956] the [G3588] being born [G1080] of [G1537] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151].
9: Nicodemus answered and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], How [G4459] is it possible [G1410] for these [things] [G3778] to be [G1096]?
10: Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) answered and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], You [G1473] are the [G3588] Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38]the [G3588] of Israel, and [G2532] these [things] [G3778] you know not [G3756][G1097]?
11: Amen , amen , I say [G3004] to you [G1473] that [G3754], What [G3739] we know [G1492] we speak [G2980], and [G2532] what [G3739] we have seen [G3708] we witness [G3140]; and [G2532] the [G3588] our witness [G3141][G1473] you do not receive [G3756][G2983].
12: If [G1487] the [things] [G3588] upon-the-land '[G1919] I told [G2036] to you [G1473], and [G2532] you do not [G3756] trust '[G4100], how then [G4459] if [G1437] I should speak [G2036] to you [G1473] of the [things] [G3588] up-in-the-raised-place-above (up-in-the-sky) '[G2032], will you trust '[G4100]?
13: And [G2532] no one [G3762] has gone up into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], except [G1508] the [G3588] [one] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] descending [G2597] -- the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man , the [G3588] [one] being in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
14: And [G2532] as [G2531] Moses raised up high [G5312] the [G3588] serpent [G3789] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048], so [G3779] to be raised up high [G5312] is it necessary [G1163] for the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man ;
15: that [G2443] every [one [G3956] the [G3588] trusting '[G4100] in [G1519] him [G1473] should not [G3361] perish , but have [G2192] life [G2222] of the term (age) '.
16: For thus [G3779][G1063] God loved the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], so that [G5620] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] only born [G3439] he gave [G1325], that [G2443] every [one [G3956] the [G3588] trusting '[G4100] in [G1519] him [G1473], should not [G3361] perish , but should have [G2192] life [G2222] of the term (age) '.
17: did not [G3756] For [G1063] send the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] that [G2443] he should judge [G2919] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], but that [G2443] should be delivered [G4982] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] by [G1223] him [G1473].
18: the [one] [G3588] trusting '[G4100] in [G1519] him [G1473] is not [G3756] judged [G2919]; but the [G3588] [one] [G1161] not [G3361] trusting '[G4100] already [G2235] has been judged [G2919], for [G3754] he trusts not [G3361][G4100] in [G1519] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] only born [G3439] son [G5207] of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
19: And this [G3778][G1161] is the [G3588] judgment [G2920] -- that [G3754] the [G3588] light [G5457] has come [G2064] into [G1519] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], and [G2532] loved the [G3588] men more [G3123] the [G3588] darkness [G4655] than [G2228] the [G3588] light [G5457]; were for [G1063] evil [G4190] their [G1473] the [G3588] works [G2041].
20: For every [one [G3956][G1063] the [G3588] heedlessly [G5337] acting [G4238] detests [G3404] the [G3588] light [G5457], and [G2532] does not [G3756] come [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] light [G5457], that [G2443] should not [G3361] be reproved [G1651] the [G3588] his works [G2041][G1473].
21: But the [G3588] [one] [G1161] observing [G4160] the [G3588] truth comes [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] light [G5457], that [G2443] should be made manifest [G5319] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] works [G2041], that [G3754] in [G1722] God '[G2316] [they are working [G2038].
22: After [G3326] these [things] [G3778] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) came [G2064] the [G3588] and [G2532] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him [G1473] unto [G1519] the [G3588] Judean land '[G1093]; and [G2532] there [G1563] he spent time [G1304] with [G3326] them [G1473] and [G2532] was submerging .
23: was And [G1161] also [G2532] John] submerging in [G1722] Aenon near [G1451] the [G3588] Salim, for [G3754] water [G5204] much [G4183] there was there [G1563]; and [G2532] they were arriving [G3854] and [G2532] being submerged .
24: For not yet [G3768][G1063] was thrown into [G1519] the [G3588] prison [G5438] the [G3588] John].
25: Became [G1096] then [G3767] an inquiry [G2214] from [G1537] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of John with [G3326] Jews concerning [G4012] cleansing [G2512].
26: And [G2532] they came [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] John, and [G2532] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], Rabbi [G4461] ["Teacher [G1320]" John 1:38], the one who [G3739] was with [G3326] you [G1473] on the other side [G4008] of the [G3588] Jordan, in whom [G3739] you [G1473] witnessed [G3140] -- Look [here]! [G2396] this one [G3778] immerses and [G2532] all [G3956] come [G2064] to [G4314] him [G1473].
27: John answered and [G2532] said [G2036], is not [G3756] able [G1410] Man to receive [G2983] anything [G3762], unless [G1437][G3361] it should be given [G1325] to him [G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
28: You yourselves [G1473][G1473] witness to me [G1473][G3140] that [G3754] I said [G2036], not [G3756] am I [G1473] the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547]; but that [G3754] I am one being sent before [G1715] that one [G1565].
29: the [one] [G3588] having [G2192] the [G3588] bride [G3565] is groom [G3566]; and the [G3588][G1161] friend [G5384] of the [G3588] groom [G3566], the [G3588] [one] standing [G2476] and [G2532] hearing him [G1473], with joy [G5479] rejoices [G5463] because of [G1223] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of the [G3588] groom [G3566]. This [G3778] then [G3767] the [G3588] joy [G5479] the [G3588] my [G1699] is fulfilled [G4137].
30: That one [G1565] must [G1163] grow , but me [G1473][G1161] to lessen [G1642].
31: the [one] [G3588] from above coming [G2064] above [G1883] all [G3956] is . the [G3588] [one] being from [G1537] the [G3588] land '[G1093], of [G1537] the [G3588] land '[G1093] is , and [G2532] of [G1537] the [G3588] land '[G1093] he speaks [G2980]. the [G3588] [one] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] coming [G2064] above [G1883] all [G3956] is ,
32: and [G2532] what [G3739] he has seen [G3708] and [G2532] heard , this one [G3778] witnesses [G3140]; and [G2532] the [G3588] his witness [G3141][G1473] no one [G3762] receives [G2983].
33: the [one] [G3588] receiving [G2983] of of him '[G1473] the [G3588] witness [G3141], set a seal [G4972] that [G3754] the [G3588] God '[G2316] is true ;
34: for the one whom [G3739][G1063] God sent the [G3588][G2316], the [G3588] sayings [G4487] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] speaks [G2980]; for not [G3756][G1063] by [G1537] measure [G3358] does give [G1325] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151].
35: The [G3588] father [G3962] loves the [G3588] son [G5207], and [G2532] all [things] [G3956] he has put [G1325] in [G1722] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473].
36: the [one] [G3588] trusting '[G4100] in [G1519] the [G3588] son [G5207] has [G2192] life [G2222] of the term (age) '; but the [G3588] [one] [G1161] resisting the [G3588] son [G5207] will not see [G3756][G3708] the [G3588] life [G2222], but the [G3588] anger [G3709] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] remains [G3306] upon [G1909] him [G1473].
