John Chapter 20 - | Early Church Bible

1: But on the [G3588][G1161] [day] one [G1520] of the [G3588] Sabbaths [G4521], Mary the [G3588] Magdalene comes [G2064] [in the] morning [G4404], dark [G4653] still [G2089] being , unto [G1519] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419]; and [G2532] she sees the [G3588] stone [G3037] having been lifted from [G1537] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419].
2: She runs [G5143] then [G3767] and [G2532] comes [G2064] to [G4314] Simon Peter, and [G2532] to [G4314] the [G3588] other trainee '[G3101], whom [G3739] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) is fond of [G5368] the [G3588], and [G2532] says [G3004] to them [G1473], They took the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419], and [G2532] we do not know [G3756][G1492] where [G4226] they put [G5087] him [G1473].
3: went forth [G1831] then [G3767] the [G3588] Peter], and [G2532] the [G3588] other trainee '[G3101], and [G2532] they came [G2064] unto [G1519] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419].
4: ran [G5143] And [G1161] the [G3588] two [G1417] together [G3674]; and [G2532] the [G3588] other trainee '[G3101] ran in front [G4390] more quickly than [G5032] of the [G3588] Peter, and [G2532] came [G2064] first [G4413] unto [G1519] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419].
5: And [G2532] leaning over [G3879], he sees lying [G2749] the [G3588] linen bands [G3608]; not [G3756] however [G3305] he enters [G1525].
6: Comes [G2064] then [G3767] Simon Peter following him [G1473], and [G2532] he entered [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419], and [G2532] views [G2334] the [G3588] linen bands [G3608] lying [G2749].
7: And [G2532] the [G3588] scarf [G4676] which [G3739] was upon [G1909] the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473] [was] not [G3756] with [G3326] the [G3588] linen bands [G3608] lying [G2749], but separate from [them [G5565], being swathed [G1794] in [G1519] one [G1520] place [G5117].
8: Then [G5119] therefore [G3767] entered [G1525] also [G2532] the [G3588] other trainee '[G3101], the [G3588] [one] having come [G2064] first [G4413] unto [G1519] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419], and [G2532] he saw [G1492], and [G2532] he trusted '[G4100].
9: For not yet [G3764][G1063] they knew [G1492] the [G3588] scripture [G1124] that [G3754] it is necessary [G1163] for him [G1473] from [G1537] dead [G3498] to rise up .
10: went forth Then [G3767] again [G3825] to [G4314] their own [G1438] the [G3588] disciples [G3101].
11: But Mary [G1161] stood [G2476] at [G4314] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419] weeping [G2799] outside [G1854]. As [G5613] then [G3767] she wept [G2799], she leaned over [G3879] into [G1519] the [G3588] sepulchre [G3419],
12: and [G2532] she views [G2334] two [G1417] word-conveyers (messengers) ' in [G1722] white [G3022], being seated [G2516] one [G1520] at [G4314] the [G3588] head [G2776], and [G2532] one [G1520] at [G4314] the [G3588] feet [G4228] where [G3699] has been laid [G2749] the [G3588] body [G4983] of the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
13: And [G2532] they say [G3004] to her [G1473], those ones [G1565], O woman [G1135], why [G5100] do you weep [G2799]? She says [G3004] to them [G1473] that [G3754], They took the [G3588] my Boss '[G2962][G1473], and [G2532] I know not [G3756][G1492] where [G4226] they placed [G5087] him [G1473].
14: And [G2532] these [things] [G3778] having said [G2036], she turns [G4762] to [G1519] the [G3588] rear [G3694], and [G2532] she views [G2334] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) standing [G2476]; and [G2532] she knows not [G3756][G1492] that [G3754] the [G3588] it is Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) .
15: says [G3004] to her [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), O woman [G1135], Why [G5100] do you weep [G2799]? Whom [G5100] do you seek [G2212]? That one [G1565] thinking [G1380] that [G3754] the [G3588] gardener [G2780] he is , says [G3004] to him [G1473], O boss [G2962], if [G1487] you [G1473] bore him [G1473], tell [G2036] me [G1473] where [G4226] you put [G5087] him [G1473], and I [G2504] will take him [G1473].
16: says [G3004] to her [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Mary. Turning [G4762], that one [G1565] says [G3004] to him [G1473], Rabboni [G4462], which [G3739] is to say [G3004], Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38].
17: says [G3004] to her [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Do not [G3361] touch me [G1473]! for not yet [G3768][G1063] have I went up to [G4314] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473]. But go [G4198][G1161] to [G4314] the [G3588] my brothers [G1473] and [G2532] say [G2036] to them [G1473]! I go up to [G4314] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], and [G2532] father [G3962] of you [G1473]; and [G2532] God '[G2316] of me [G1473] and [G2532] your God '[G2316][G1473].
18: Comes [then [G2064] Mary the [G3588] Magdalene reporting to the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] that [G3754] she has seen [G3708] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] these [things] [G3778] he said [G2036] to her [G1473].
19: It being then [G3767] late [G3798] [in the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], in the [G3588] [day] one [G1520] of the [G3588] Sabbaths [G4521], and [G2532] the [G3588] doors [G2374] being locked [G2808] where [G3699] were the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] being gathered together [G4863] because of [G1223] the [G3588] fear [G5401] of the [G3588] Jews, Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) came [G2064] the [G3588] and [G2532] stood [G2476] in [G1519] the [G3588] midst [G3319], and [G2532] says [G3004] to them [G1473], Peace [G1515] to you [G1473].
20: And [G2532] this [G3778] having said [G2036], he showed [G1166] to them [G1473] the [G3588] hands [G5495] and [G2532] the [G3588] side [G4125] of him '[G1473]. rejoiced [G5463] then [G3767] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] seeing [G1492] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
21: said [G2036] then [G3767] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) again [G3825], Peace [G1515] to you [G1473]; as [G2531] sent me [G1473] the [G3588] father [G3962], I also [G2504] send [G3992] you [G1473].
22: And [G2532] this [G3778] having said [G2036], he breathed onto [G1720], and [G2532] says [G3004] to them [G1473], Receive [G2983] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] pure '.
23: Of whosoever [G5100] you should forgive the [G3588] sins , they are forgiven to them [G1473]; of whosoever [G5100] you should hold [G2902], they are held [G2902].
24: But Thomas [G1161], one [G1520] of [G1537] the [G3588] twelve [G1427], the [G3588] [one] being called [G3004] Didymus, was not [G3756] with [G3326] them [G1473] when [G3753] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) came [G2064] the [G3588].
25: said [G3004] then [G3767] to him [G1473] the [G3588] other disciples [G3101], We have seen [G3708] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], Unless [G1437][G3361] I should see [G1492] in [G1722] the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] the [G3588] impression [G5179] of the [G3588] nails [G2247], and [G2532] should put the [G3588] my finger [G1147][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] impression [G5179] of the [G3588] nails [G2247], and [G2532] should put the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] his side [G4125][G1473], in no way will I trust '[G4100].
26: And [G2532] after [G3326] days [G2250] eight [G3638] again [G3825] were inside [G2080] the [G3588] his disciples [G3101][G1473], and [G2532] Thomas [was] with [G3326] them [G1473]. Comes [G2064] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), of the [G3588] doors [G2374] having been locked [G2808], and [G2532] stood [G2476] in [G1519] the [G3588] midst [G3319] and [G2532] said [G2036], Peace [G1515] to you [G1473].
27: So then [G1534] he says [G3004] the [G3588] to Thomas, Bring [G5342] the [G3588] your finger [G1147][G1473] here [G5602], and [G2532] look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] my hands [G5495][G1473]; and [G2532] bring [G5342] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] put [it into [G1519] the [G3588] my side [G4125][G1473]; and [G2532] be not [G3361][G1096] unbelieving , but believing [G4103]!
28: And [G2532] Thomas responded the [G3588] and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], the [G3588] My Boss '[G2962][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473].
29: says [G3004] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Because [G3754] you have seen [G3708] me [G1473], you have trusted '[G4100]; Blessed [G3107] [are] the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] seeing [G1492] and [G2532] having trusted '[G4100].
30: Indeed many [G4183][G3303] then [G3767] even [G2532] other signs [G4592] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) did [G4160] the [G3588] in the presence of [G1799] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him [G1473], which [G3739] are not [G3756] written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588] this scroll [G3778].
31: But these [things] [G3778][G1161] have been written [G1125] that [G2443] you should trust '[G4100] that [G3754] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) is the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547], the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] that [G2443] trusting '[G4100] life [G2222] you should have [G2192] in [G1722] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473].
