2: Announce among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], and [G2532] audible make [it [G4160]! Lift up a sign [G4592] and [G2532] audible make [it [G4160]! And [G2532] you should not hide [it [G3361][G2928]. Say [G2036]! Babylon is captured . Bel was disgraced [G2617]. Merodach was delivered up [G3860]. were shamed the [G3588]ir carvings [G1473]. were delivered up [G3860] the [G3588]ir idols [G1497][G1473].
3: For [G3754] went up upon [G1909] her [G1473] an tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] from north [G1005]. This one [G3778] put [G5087] the [G3588] her land '[G1093][G1473] for [G1519] extinction , and [G2532] there will not be [G3756] one the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] her [G1473] from man and [G2532] beast [G2934].
4: They shook [G4531] and [G2532] went [G4198]; in [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], will come [G2240] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel]; they [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Judah together . 5: unto [G2193] Zion They will ask [G2065] the [G3588] way [G3598]; for here [G5602][G1063] the [G3588]ir face [G4383][G1473] they will set [G1325], and [G2532] they will come [G2240] and [G2532] will take refuge [G2703] with [G4314] Boss '[G2962]; covenant [G1242] for [G1063] of the term (age) ' will not [G3756] be forgotten [G1950].

8: Be separated from out of [G1537] midst [G3319] of Babylon, and [G2532] from land '[G1093] of Chaldeans! And [G2532] go forth [G1831] and [G2532] become [G1096] as [G5618] dragons [G1404] in front [G2596][G4383] of sheep [G4263]!
9: For [G3754] look [G2400], I [G1473] raise up [G1453] against [G1909] Babylon gatherings [G4864] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] of great [G3173] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of north [G1005], and [G2532] they will deploy against her [G1473]. From there [G1564] she will be captured as [G5613] arrow [G1002] warrior of an expert [G4908] will not [G3756] return [G1994] empty [G2756].
10: And [G2532] will be the [G3588] Chaldeans] for [G1519] plunder ; all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] despoiling her [G1473] will be filled up [G1705], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
11: For [G3754] you were glad [G2165], and [G2532] gloried over [G2620] plundering [G1283] of the [G3588] my inheritance [G2817][G1473]. For [G1360] you leaped [G4640] as [G5613] young bullocks in [G1722] a pasture [G1008], and [G2532] gored as [G5613] bulls [G5022].
12: shamed the [G3588] Your mother [G3384][G1473] [is] exceedingly [G4970]; felt shame [G1788] the [G3588] [one] giving birth to [G5088] you [G1473]. Look [G2400], last [G2078] of tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] [will be] desolate [G2048] and [G2532] untrodden .
13: From anger [G3709] of Boss '[G2962] it will not [G3756] be dwelt in [G2730], and [G2532] will be for [G1519] extinction all [G3956]. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] traveling [G1353] through [G1223] Babylon will look downcast , and [G2532] will whistle at [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] her calamity [G4127][G1473].
14: Deploy against [G1909] Babylon round about [G2943], all [G3956] stretching bow [G5115]! Shoot against [G1909] her [G1473]! Spare not [G3361][G5339] against [her [G1909] the [G3588] your bows [G1473]! for [G3754] against the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] she sinned .
15: And [G2532] secure her [G1473]! were disabled [G3886] the [G3588] Her hands [G5495][G1473]; fell [G4098] the [G3588] parapets [G1473]; was razed [G2679] the [G3588] her wall [G5038][G1473]. For [G3754] vengeance [G1557] by [G3844] the [G3588] God '[G2316] it is . Take vengeance [G1556] against [G1909] her [G1473]. As [G2531] she did [G4160], you do [G4160] to her [G1473]!
16: Utterly destroy [G1842] seed [G4690] from out of [G1537] Babylon! one holding [G2722] sickle [G1407] in [G1722] time [G2540] of harvest [G2326], from in front [G4383] [of the] Grecian sword [G3162]. Each [G1538] unto [G1519] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473] will return , and [G2532] each [G1538] unto [G1519] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473] will flee [G5343].
17: sheep [G4263] is a wandering [G4105] Israel]; lions [G3023] pushed him out [G1856][G1473]. the [G3588] first [G4413] devoured [G2068] him [G1473] king of Assyria], and [G2532] this one [G3778] afterwards [G5305] the [G3588] [devoured] his bones [G3747][G1473] -- king of Babylon.
18: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, look [G2400], I [G1473] take vengeance [G1556] against [G1909] the [G3588] king of Babylon and [G2532] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473], as [G2531] I took vengeance [G1556] against [G1909] the [G3588] king of Assyria.
19: And [G2532] I will restore the [G3588] Israel unto [G1519] the [G3588] his pasture [G3542][G1473]. And [G2532] he will feed on [G1722] the [G3588] Carmel, and [G2532] in [G1722] Bashan, and [G2532] on [G1722] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Ephraim, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] Gilead, and [G2532] will be satisfied [G1705] the [G3588] his soul [G5590][G1473].
20: In [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], they will seek [G2212] the [G3588] unrighteousness of Israel, and [G2532] it will not [G3756] exist [G5224]. And [they will seek [G2532] the [G3588] sins of Judah, and [G2532] in no way will they be found [G2147]. For [G3754] kindness [G2436] I will be to the [G3588] [ones] being left behind [G5275].
21: Upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], Bitterly [G4090], mount up [G1910] against [G1909] her [G1473]! And [G2532] against [G1909] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] her [G1473] punish [G1556] by sword [G3162], and [G2532] obliterate ! says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] do [G4160] according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] I give charge [G1781] to you [G1473]!
22: sound [G5456] of war [G4171] and [G2532] destruction great [G3173] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Chaldeans.
23: O how [G4459] was broken in pieces and [G2532] defeated [G4937] the [G3588] hammer of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093]? O how [G4459] became [G1096] for [G1519] extinction Babylon] among [G1722] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]?
24: They will attack [G2007] you [G1473]. and [G2532] you will be captured , O Babylon, and [G2532] you did not know [G3756][G1097]. You will be found [G2147] and [G2532] taken [G2983], for [G3754] against the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] you opposed .
25: BOSS opened [G2962] the [G3588] his treasury [G2344][G1473], and [G2532] brought forth [G1627] the [G3588] items [G4632] of his anger [G3709][G1473]; for [G3754] [it is a] work [G2041] for the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Chaldeans.
26: For [G3754] have come [G2064] the [G3588] her times [G2540][G1473]. Open the [G3588] her storehouses [G1473]! Search [G2045] her [G1473] as [G5613] a cave [G4693], and [G2532] utterly destroy [G1842] her [G1473]! Let not be [G3361][G1096] her [G1473] vestige [G2640]!
27: Dry up all [G3956] the [G3588] her fruits [G2590][G1473], and [G2532] go down [G2597] for [G1519] slaughter [G4967]! Woe [G3759] to them [G1473], for [G3754] is come [G2240] the [G3588]ir day [G2250][G1473], and [G2532] a time [G2540] of their punishment [G1557][G1473].
28: A sound [G5456] of ones fleeing [G5343] and [G2532] escaping from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Babylon, the [G3588] to announce unto [G1722] Zion the [G3588] vengeance [G1557] by [G3844] Boss '[G2962] our God '[G2316][G1473] -- vengeance [G1557] of his temple [G3485][G1473].
29: Exhort [G3853] against [G1909] Babylon many [G4183]! to every one [G3956] stretching tight bow [G5115]. Camp upon [G1909] her [G1473] round about [G2943]! Let there not [G3361] be her [G1473] escaping ! Recompense to her [G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588] her works [G2041][G1473]! According to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] she did [G4160], you do [G4160] to her [G1473]! For [G3754] against [G4314] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] she withstood God '[G2316], holy one of Israel.
30: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] will fall [G4098] the [G3588] her young men [G3495][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] her squares [G4113][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] men , the [G3588] her warriors [G1473], will be tossed down [G4495] in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
31: look [G2400], I [am [G1473] against [G4314] you [G1473], O proud one [G5244], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411]; for [G3754] is come [G2240] the [G3588] your day [G2250][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] time [G2540] of your punishment [G1557][G1473].
32: And [G2532] will be weakened the [G3588] your insolence [G5196][G1473] and [G2532] will fall [G4098], and [G2532] there will not be [G3756] the [G3588] [one] raising it [G1473]. And [G2532] I will kindle a fire [G4442] in [G1722] the [G3588] her forest [G1473], and [G2532] it will devour [G2719] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] round about [G2945] her [G1473].
33: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], have been tyrannized [G2616] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Judah together . All [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] capturing them [G1473] tyrannized [G2616] them [G1473]; for [G3754] they did not [G3756] want [G2309] to send them out [G1821][G1473].
34: But [G2532] the [G3588] [one] ransoming [G3084] them [G1473] [is] strong [G2478]; Boss '[G2962] almighty [G3841] [is] name [G3686] of him [G1473]. equitably [G2920] He will judge [G2919] against [G4314] the [G3588] his opponents [G1473], that [G3704] should be removed [G1808] the [G3588] land '[G1093]; and [G2532] he provokes [G3947] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in Babylon.
35: A sword [G3162] upon [G1909] the [G3588] Chaldeans, says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] Babylon, and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] her great men [G3175][G1473], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] her experts [G4908][G1473].
36: A sword [G3162] upon [G1909] the [G3588] her clairvoyants [G1473], and [G2532] they will be fools . A sword [G3162] upon [G1909] the [G3588] her warriors [G1473], and [G2532] they will be disabled [G3886].
37: A sword [G3162] upon [G1909] the [G3588]ir horses [G2462][G1473], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588]ir chariots [G1473], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] consolidation (the [one] [G3588] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of her, [G1473]) and [G2532] they will be as [G5613] women [G1135]. A sword [G3162] upon [G1909] the [G3588] her treasures [G2344][G1473], and [G2532] they will be plundered [G1283].
38: upon [G1909] the [G3588] her water [G5204][G1473] It relied [G3982]; and [G2532] they will be disgraced [G2617]. For [G3754] a land '[G1093] of the [G3588] carved [images it is , and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] islands [G3520] they gloried over [G2620].
39: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] will dwell [G2730] effigies among [G1722] the [G3588] islands [G3520], and [G2532] there will dwell [G2730] in [G1722] them [G1473] daughters [G2364] of sirens . In no way should it be inhabited [G2730] any longer [G3765] unto [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `, nor will it be encamped [G2681] unto [G2193] generation [G1074] and [G2532] generation [G2532].
40: As [G2531] God eradicated [G2690] the [G3588][G2316] Sodom and [G2532] Gomorrah and [G2532] the [places [G3588] adjoining them [G1473], said BOSS [G2036][G2962], in no way will dwell [G2730] there [G1563] man , and [G2532] in no way will sojourn [G3939] there [G1563] a son [G5207] of man .
41: look [G2400], a people [G2992] come [G2064] from north [G1005], and [G2532] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] a great [G3173], and [G2532] kings many [G4183] will be awakened [G1825] from end [G2078] of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
42: a bow [G5115] and [G2532] a knife They are holding [G2192]. They are audacious , and [G2532] in no way will they show compassion [G1653]. the [G3588]ir voice [G5456][G1473] as [G5613] sea [G2281] will sound [G2278]. Upon [G1909] horses [G2462] they will ride , being prepared [G3903] as [G5618] fire [G4442] for [G1519] war [G4171] against [G4314] you [G1473], O daughter [G2364] of Babylon.
43: heard king of Babylon] the [G3588] report of them [G1473], and [G2532] were disabled [G3886] the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473]; affliction [G2347] held him firmly [G1473], pangs [G5604] as [G5613] a woman giving birth [G5088].
44: look [G2400], as if [G5618] a lion [G3023], he will go up from the [G3588] Jordan into [G1519] place [G5117] Aithan. For [G3754] quickly [G5030] I will drive them [G1559][G1473] from her [G1473], and [G2532] every [G3956] young man [G3495] against [G1909] her [G1473] I will set [G2186]. For [G3754] who [G5100] [is] as [G5618] I [G1473], and [G2532] who [G5100] will oppose me [G1473], and [G2532] who [G5100] [is] this [G3778] the [G3588] shepherd [G4166] who [G3739] will stand [G2476] in front of [G2596][G4383] me [G1473]?
45: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], hear the [G3588] plan [G1012] of Boss '[G2962]! which [G3739] he has planned [G1011] against [G1909] Babylon; and [G2532] his devices [G3053][G1473] which [G3739] he devised [G3049] against [G1909] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] Chaldeans. Surely [G1437][G3361] will be utterly destroyed [G1311] the [G3588] little lambs of the [G3588]ir sheep [G4263][G1473]. Surely [G1437][G3361] will be removed pasture [G3542] from them [G1473].
46: For [G1360] from sound [G5456] of conquest of Babylon will be shaken [G4579] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] her cry [G2906][G1473] among [G1722] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] will be heard .
