Jeremiah Chapter 25 - | Early Church Bible

1: The [G3588] word [G3056] the [G3588] coming [G1096] to [G4314] Jeremiah concerning [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] of Judah, in [G1722] the [G3588] year [G2094] the [G3588] fourth [G5067] the [G3588] of Jehoiakim son [G5207] of Josiah king of Judah; it [was [G1473] year [G1763] first [G4413] the [G3588] to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon;
2: which [G3739] spoke [G2980] Jeremiah the [G3588] prophet [G4396] to [G4314] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] of Judah, and [G2532] to [G4314] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling in [G2730] Jerusalem, saying [G3004],
3: In [G1722] thirteenth year [G2094] of Josiah, son [G5207] of Amon, king of Judah, and [G2532] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778] [for] twenty [G1501] and [G2532] three [G5140] years [G2094], that [G2532] came [G1096] word [G4487] [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], and [G2532] I spoke [G2980] to [G4314] you [G1473] rising early [G3719] and [G2532] speaking [G3004], and [G2532] you listened not [G3756].
4: And [G2532] I sent to [G4314] you [G1473] the [G3588] my servants [G1401][G1473] the [G3588] prophets [G4396], [them] at dawn [G3722] sending (and [G2532] you did not [G3756] listen [G1522], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] take heed [G4337] with the [G3588] your ears) [G3775][G1473],
5: saying [G3004], Turn indeed [G1211] each [G1538] from the [G3588] way [G3598] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] wicked [G4190], and [G2532] from the [G3588] wicked [G4190] practices your [G1473]! and [G2532] you will dwell [G2730] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] I gave [G1325] to you [G1473] and [G2532] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] from age (term) ` and [G2532] unto [G2193] age (term) `.
6: Go not [G3361][G4198] after [G3694] strange gods '[G2316] the [G3588] to serve [G1398] them [G1473]! and [G2532] the [G3588] to do obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473], so that [G3704] you should not [G3361] provoke me to anger [G3949][G1473] by [G1722] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] hands [G5495] of you [G1473] [so as for me the [G3588] to afflict [G2559] you [G1473].
7: And [G2532] you hearkened not to [G3756][G1522] me [G1473].
8: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Since [G1894] you trusted not [G3756][G4100] the [G3588] my words [G3056][G1473],
9: look [G2400], I [G1473] send and [G2532] I will take [G2983] the [G3588] family [G3965] of the [G3588] north [G1005], and [G2532] I will convey ' them [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] this land '[G1093][G3778], and [G2532] against [G1909] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] it [G1473], and [G2532] against [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] the [G3588] round about [G2945] it [G1473]. And [G2532] I will make them quite desolate [G1473]. And [G2532] I will appoint [G1325] them [G1473] for [G1519] extinction , and [G2532] for [G1519] hissing , and [G2532] for [G1519] scorn [G3680] of the term (age) '.
10: And [G2532] I will destroy from them [G1473] voice [G5456] of joy [G5479], and [G2532] voice [G5456] of gladness [G2167], voice [G5456] of groom [G3566], and [G2532] voice [G5456] of bride [G3565], scent [G3744] of perfumed liquid [G3464], and [G2532] light [G5457] of a lamp [G3088].
11: And [G2532] will be all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] for [G1519] extinction , and [G2532] will serve [G1398] the [G3588]se tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G3778] to the [G3588] king of the [G3588] Babylon seventy [G1440] years [G2094].
12: And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] fulfilling [G4137] the [G3588] seventy [G1440] years [G2094], I will take vengeance [G1556] upon [G1909] the [G3588] king of Babylon, and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] that tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484][G1565] of the [G3588]ir unrighteousness [G1473], says [G5346] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Caldeans. And [G2532] I will appoint [G5087] them [G1473] for [G1519] extinction of the term (age) '.
13: And [G2532] I will bring [G1863] upon [G1909] the [G3588] that land '[G1093][G1565] all [G3956] the [G3588] my words [G3056][G1473] which [G3739] I spoke [G2980] against [G2596] it [G1473], all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] being written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588] this scroll [G3778];
14: as many things as [G3745] Jeremiah prophesied [G4395] against [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], for [G3754] they laid service [G1398] against them [G1473] when [G3753] they were tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] many [G4183] and [G2532] kings great [G3173]. And [G2532] I will recompense to them [G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588]ir works [G2041][G1473], [G2532] according to [G2596] the [G3588] actions [G4161] of the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473].
15: Thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, Take [G2983] the [G3588] cup [G4221] the [G3588] wine [G3631] of the [G3588] this undiluted [G3778] from out of [G1537] my hand [G5495][G1473]! and [G2532] you will give to drink [G4222] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] to [G4314] whom [G3739] I send you [G1473] unto [G1909] them [G1473].
16: And [G2532] they will drink [G4095], and [G2532] vomit forth , and [G2532] will be driven mad from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] sword [G3162] of which [G3739] I [G1473] will send in the midst of them [G1473].
17: And [G2532] I took [G2983] the [G3588] cup [G4221] from out of [G1537] hand [G5495] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] I gave to drink [G4222] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] to [G4314] whom [G3739] sent me [G1473] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] unto [G1909] them [G1473];
18: the [G3588] Jerusalem, and [G2532] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of Judah, and [G2532] king of Judah, and [G2532] his rulers [G1473] the [G3588] to appoint [G5087] them [G1473] for [G1519] desolation [G2050], and [G2532] for [G1519] an untrodden [land , and [G2532] for [G1519] a hissing , and [G2532] for [G1519] a curse [G2671] as [G5613] the [G3588] this day [G2250];
19: even [G2532] the [G3588] Pharaoh king of Egypt, and [G2532] the [G3588] his children [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his great men [G3175][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473],
20: and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his consolidations [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Uz, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of Philistines , and [G2532] the [G3588] Ashkelon, and [G2532] the [G3588] Gaza, and [G2532] the [G3588] Ekron, and [G2532] the [G3588] remaining [G1954] of Ashdod,
21: and [G2532] the [G3588] Edom, and [G2532] the [G3588] Moab, and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Ammon,
22: and [G2532] all [G3956] kings of Tyre, and [G2532] kings of Sidon, and [G2532] kings of the [G3588] [ones] on [G1722] the [G3588] other side [G4008] of the [G3588] sea [G2281],
23: and [G2532] the [G3588] Dedan and [G2532] Tema, and [G2532] Buz, and [G2532] all [G3956] being shaven around [G2596] his face [G4383][G1473],
24: and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of the [G3588] Arabia, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] consolidations of the [G3588] [ones] resting up [G2647] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048],
25: and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of Zimri, and [G2532] all [G3956] kings of Elam, and [G2532] all [G3956] kings of Medes,
26: and [G2532] all [G3956] kings from east wind , the [G3588] [ones] at a distance [G4206], and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] near [G1451], each [G1538] with [G4314] the [G3588] brother of him [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] kingdoms , the [G3588] [ones] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of the [G3588] land '[G1093]; and [G2532] king of Sheshach will drink [G4095] with [G3326] them [G1473].
27: And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to them [G1473], thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] almighty [G3841], Drink [G4095], be intoxicated [G3184], and [G2532] vomit forth , and [G2532] fall [G4098], and [G2532] in no way rise up from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] sword [G3162]! of which [G3739] I [G1473] send in the midst of you [G1473].
28: And [G2532] it will be whenever [G3752] they should not [G3361] want [G1014] to take [G1209] the [G3588] cup [G4221] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473] so as [G5620] to drink [G4095], then [G2532] you will say [G2046], Thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], By drinking [G4095] you will drink [G4095].
29: For [G3754] in [G1722] city [G4172] upon [G1909] which [G3739] is named [G3687] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] by [G1909] it [G1473], I [G1473] begin to afflict [G2559]. And [G2532] you [G1473] by cleansing in no way will be cleansed [G2511], for [G3754] a sword [G3162] I [G1473] will call [G2564] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] settling down [G2521] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411].
30: And [G2532] you [G1473] will prophesy [G4395] against [G1909] them [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778], and [G2532] will say [G2046], Boss '[G2962] from on high [G5308] will execute [G5537] from the [G3588] place [G5117] the [G3588] his pure '[G1473] he will give [G1325] his voice [G5456][G1473]; a word [G3056] he will execute [G5537] against [G1909] the [G3588] his place [G5117][G1473]; and [G2532] thus [G3592] as [G5618] ones gathering vintage [G5166] will be answered , and [G2532] against [G1909] the [G3588] [ones] settling [G2521] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] will come [G2240] ruin [G3639],
31: upon [G1909] a part [G3313] of the [G3588] land '[G1093]. For [G3754] judgment [G2920] [is by] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]; he himself pleads [G2919][G1473] to [G4314] all [G3956] flesh [G4561]; but the [G3588][G1161] impious will be given [G1325] to [G1519] sword [G3162], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
32: Thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], look [G2400], evils [G2556] come [G2064] from tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] upon [G1909] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484], and [G2532] tempest [G2978] a great [G3173] goes forth [G1607] from end [G2078] of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
33: And [G2532] there will be slain by [G5259] Boss '[G2962] in [G1722] that day [G2250][G1565] from [G1537] a part [G3313] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], even [G2532] unto [G2193] into [G1519] a part [G3313] of the [G3588] land '[G1093]; in no way will they be lamented [G2354], and [G2532] in no way will they be gathered [G4863], and [G2532] in no way will they be buried , for [G1519] dung [G2874] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] they will be .
34: Shout , O shepherds [G4166], and [G2532] cry out [G2896]! And [G2532] beat the chest [G2875], O the [G3588] rams of the [G3588] flocks [G4263]! For [G3754] were filled [G4137] the [G3588] your days [G2250][G1473] for [G1519] slaughter [G4967], and [G2532] you will fall [G4098] as [G5618] the [G3588] rams the [G3588] choice [G1588].
35: And [G2532] will perish flight [G5437] from the [G3588] shepherds [G4166], and [G2532] safety [G4991] [will flee] from the [G3588] rams of the [G3588] flocks [G4263].
36: A sound [G5456] of a cry [G2906] of the [G3588] shepherds [G4166], and [G2532] a shout of the [G3588] rams , for [G3754] BOSS annihilated [G3645][G2962] the [G3588]ir pastures [G1473].
37: And [G2532] will cease [G3973] the [G3588] rest places [G2645] of the [G3588] peace [G1515] from face [G4383] of anger [G3709] of rage [G2372] of Boss '[G2962].
38: He abandoned [G1459] as [G5618] a lion [G3023] his lodging [G2646][G1473], for [G3754] became [G1096] the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473] an [G1519] untrodden [place] from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] sword [G3162] the [G3588] great [G3173].
