1: not [G3361] many [G4183] teachers [G1320] Let there be [G1096], my brothers [G1473]! knowing [G1492] that [G3754] greater [G3173] judgment [G2917] we will receive [G2983].
2: For many [times [G4183][G1063] we are at fault [G4417] all together . If any [G1536] in [G1722] word [G3056] is not [G3756] at fault [G4417], this one [G3778] is a perfect [G5046] man , able [G1415] to bridle [G5468] even [G2532] his entire [G3650] the [G3588] body [G4983].
3: Look [here]! [G2396] of the [G3588] horses [G2462] the [G3588] bits [G5469] into [G1519] the [G3588] mouths [G4750] we put , for [G4314] the [G3588]m to comply [G3982][G1473] to us [G1473], and [G2532] entire [G3650] the [G3588] body [G4983] their [G1473] we lead around [G3329].

7: For every [G3956][G1063] [species] of nature [G5449], both of wild beasts [G2342][G5037] and [G2532] of birds [G4071], both of reptiles [G2062][G5037] and [G2532] marine life [G1724], is tamed [G1150] and [G2532] has been tamed [G1150] by the [G3588] nature [G5449] the [G3588] human .
8: But the [G3588][G1161] tongue [G1100] no one [G3762] is able [G1410] of men to tame [G1150]; [it is] an unrestrained evil [G2556], full [G3324] of poison [G2447] causing death [G2287].
9: By [G1722] it [G1473] we bless [G2127] the [G3588] God '[G2316] and [G2532] father [G3962], and [G2532] by [G1722] it [G1473] we curse [G2672] the [G3588] men , the [G3588] [ones] according to [G2596] likeness [G3669] of God '[G2316] [who] are born [G1096].
10: From out of [G1537] the [G3588] same [G1473] mouth [G4750] comes forth [G1831] blessing [G2129] and [G2532] curse [G2671]. [It does] not [G3756] behoove [us [G5534], my brothers [G1473], [for] these [things] [G3778] so [G3779] to be [G1096].
11: [Does [G3385] the [G3588] spring [G4077] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] same [G1473] opening [G3692] gush [G1032] the [G3588] sweet [G1099] and [G2532] the [G3588] bitter [G4089]?
12: [Is [G3361] able [G1410] my brothers [G1473] fig-tree [G4808] olives [G1636] to produce [G4160], or [G2228] a grapevine [to produce] figs [G4810]? Thus [G3779] not one [G3762] spring [is able [G4077] salty and [G2532] sweet [G1099] to produce [G4160] water [G5204].
13: Who [is [G5100] wise [G4680] and [G2532] intelligent [G1990] among [G1722] you [G1473]? Let him show [G1166] out of [G1537] the [G3588] good [G2570] behavior the [G3588] his works [G2041][G1473] in [G1722] gentleness [G4240] of wisdom [G4678]!
14: But if [G1487][G1161] jealousy [G2205] bitter [G4089] you have [G2192] and [G2532] contention [G2052] in [G1722] the [G3588] your heart [G2588], do not [G3361] glory over [G2620] and [G2532] lie [G5574] against [G2596] the [G3588] truth !
15: not [G3756] is This [G3778] the [G3588] wisdom [G4678] from above coming down [G2718], but upon-the-land '[G1919], physical [G5591], demoniacal [G1141].
16: For where [there is [G3699][G1063] jealousy [G2205] and [G2532] contention [G2052], there [is [G1563] commotion and [G2532] every [G3956] heedless [G5337] thing [G4229].
17: But the [G3588][G1161] from above wisdom [G4678] first [G4412] indeed [G3303] is pure , thereupon [G1899] peaceable [G1516], lenient [G1933], obeys readily [G2138], full [G3324] of compassion [G1656] and [G2532] fruits [G2590] of good , impartial and [G2532] non-stage-acting '.
18: And fruit [G2590][G1161] of the [G3588] righteousness [G1343] in [G1722] peace [G1515] is sown [G4687] to the [G3588] [ones] making [G4160] peace [G1515].
