Isaiah Chapter 5 - | Early Church Bible

1: I will sing indeed [G1211] to the [G3588] [one] being loved of me [G1473] a song of the [G3588] my beloved [G1473] concerning the [G3588] his vineyard [G1473]. A vineyard became [G1096] to the [G3588] [one] being loved on [G1722] a horn [G2768] in [G1722] place [G5117] a plentiful .
2: And [G2532] a barrier [G5418] I put] around it [G4060], and [G2532] I built a palisade , and [G2532] planted [G5452] a grapevine , a choice vine ; and [G2532] I built [G3618] a tower [G4444] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of it [G1473]; and [G2532] a wine press I dug [G3736] in [G1722] it [G1473]; and [G2532] I waited [G3306] the [G3588] [for it] to produce [G4160] grape [G4718], and [G2532] it produced [G4160] thorn-bushes .
3: And [G2532] now [G3568], O ones the [G3588] dwelling [G1774] in [G1722] Jerusalem, and [G2532] O man of the [G3588] Judah, judge [G2919] then [G1211][G1722] me [G1473] and [G2532] between the [G3588] my vineyard [G1473]!
4: What [G5100] will I do [G4160] still [G2089] to the [G3588] my vineyard [G1473] that [G2532] I did not [do [G3756][G4160] to it [G1473]? For [G1360] I waited [G3306] the [G3588] [for it] to produce [G4160] a grape [G4718], but it produced [G4160][G1161] thorn-bushes .
5: Now then [G3568][G3767] I will announce to you [G1473] what [G5100] I [G1473] will do [G4160] [to the [G3588] my vineyard [G1473]. I will remove the [G3588] its barrier [G5418][G1473], and [G2532] it will be for [G1519] ravaging . And [G2532] I will demolish [G2507] the [G3588] its wall [G5109][G1473], and [G2532] it will be for [G1519] trampling .
6: And [G2532] I will forsake the [G3588] my vineyard [G1473]; for [G2532] in no way should it be pruned , neither will it be dug [G4626]. And [G2532] will go up into [G1519] it [G1473] as [G5613] in [G1519] an uncultivated land thorn-bush . And [G2532] to the [G3588] clouds [G3507] I will give charge [G1781] the [G3588] to not [G3361] rain [G1026] upon [G1519] it [G1473] [any] rain [G5205].
7: For the [G3588][G1063] vineyard of Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] house [G3624] of the [G3588] Israel is , and [G2532] man of the [G3588] Judah [is the] newly planted [G3504] one being loved . I waited [G3306] for the [G3588] it to produce [G4160] equity [G2920], but it produced [G4160][G1161] lawlessness ; and [G2532] not [G3756] righteousness [G1343], but a cry [G2906].
8: Woe [G3759] to the [G3588] [ones] joining together house [G3614] to [G4314] house [G3614], and [G2532] field to [G4314] field nearing [G1448], that [G2443] of the [G3588]ir neighbor [G4139] they should remove anything [G5100]; will you not [G3361] live [G3611] alone [G3441] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]?
9: For it was heard [G1063] in [G1519] the [G3588] ears [G3775] of Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] [about] these [things] [G3778]. For even if [G1437][G1063] there should become [G1096] residences [G3614] many [G4183] in [G1519] desolation [G2048], [and] they will be great [G3173] and [G2532] good [G2570], but [G2532] there will not [G3756] be the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G1774] in [G1722] them [G1473].
10: For where [G3739][G1063] work [G2038] ten [G1176] teams [G2201] of oxen [G1016] [the land will] produce [G4160] clay vessel [G2765] one [G1520]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] sowing [G4687] [large] measures six [G1803] will produce [G4160] measures [G3358] three [G5140].
11: Woe [G3759] to the [G3588] [ones] arising [G1453] in the morning [G4404] and [G2532] the [G3588] liquor [G4608] pursuing [G1377]; the [G3588] [ones] waiting [G3306] the [G3588] late [for it [G3796]; for the [G3588][G1063] wine [G3631] will burn with them [G1473].
12: For with [G3326][G1063] harp [G2788], and [G2532] psaltery , and [G2532] tambourines , and [G2532] pipes , the [G3588] wine [G3631] they drink [G4095]; but the [G3588][G1161] works [G2041] of Boss '[G2962] they do not [G3756] look at [G1689], and [G2532] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] they do not [G3756] contemplate [G2657].
13: Therefore [G5106] captive the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473] became [G1096] because of [G1223] the [G3588] not [G3361] knowing [G1492] their [G1473] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] a multitude [G4128] became [G1096] dead [G3498] because of [G1223] hunger [G3042] and [G2532] thirst [G1373] for water [G5204].
14: And [G2532] widened [G4115] the [G3588] Hades the [G3588] its breath [G5590][G1473], and [G2532] opened wide [G1272] the [G3588] its mouth [G4750][G1473] the [G3588] to not [G3361] stop [G1257]. And [G2532] will go down [G2597] the [G3588] honorable ones [G1741], and [G2532] the [G3588] great [G3173], and [G2532] the [G3588] rich [G4145], and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] jumping much in [G1722] her [G1473].
15: And [G2532] will be abased [G5013] a people , and [G2532] will be dishonored a man , and [G2532] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] the [G3588] elevated will be abased [G5013].
16: And [G2532] will be raised up high [G5312] Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] in [G1722] judgment [G2917]; and [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] pure ' will be glorified [G1392] in [G1722] righteousness [G1343].
17: And [G2532] will be grazed [G1006] the [G3588] [ones] tearing in pieces [G1283] as [G5613] bulls [G5022]; and [G2532] the [things] [G3588] of barren [places [G2048] of the [G3588] [ones] being taken away lambs will eat [G2068].
18: Woe [G3759] to the [G3588] [ones] drawing [G1986] the [G3588] sins as [with [G5613] rough cord [G4979] a long [G3117], and [G2532] as [with [G5613] a yoke [G2218] strap [G2438] of a heifer [G1151] the [G3588] lawlessnesses.
19: the [ones] [G3588] saying [G3004], the [G3588] Let him quickly [G5034] approach [G1448] to do whatever [G3739][G4160]! that [G2443] we should see it [G1492]; and [G2532] let come [G2064] the [G3588] counsel [G1012] of the [G3588] holy one of Israel]! that [G2443] we should know it [G1097].
20: Woe [G3759] to the [G3588] [ones] calling [G3004] the [G3588] evil [G4190] good [G2570], and [G2532] the [G3588] good [G2570] evil [G4190]; the [G3588] [ones] making [G5087] the [G3588] darkness [G4655] light [G5457], and [G2532] the [G3588] light [G5457] darkness [G4655]; the [G3588] [ones] making [G5087] the [G3588] bitter [G4089] sweet [G1099], and [G2532] the [G3588] sweet [G1099] bitter [G4089].
21: Woe [G3759] to the [G3588] [ones] wise [G4680] to [G1722] themselves [G1473], and [G2532] before [G1799] themselves [G1438] having knowledge [G1990].
22: Woe [G3759] [to the [G3588] your strong ones [G2480][G1473], the [G3588] [ones] drinking [G4095] the [G3588] wine [G3631], and [G2532] the [G3588] mighty ones [G1413], the [G3588] [ones] mixing [G2767] the [G3588] liquor [G4608];
23: the [ones] [G3588] justifying [G1344] the [G3588] impious because of [G1752] bribes [G1435], and [G2532] for the [G3588] just [G1342] the [G3588] justice [G1342] lifting away .
24: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], in which [G3739] manner [G5158] will be burnt [G2545] stubble [G2562] by [G5259] a coal of fire [G4442], and [G2532] will be burnt up by [G5259] a flame [G5395] being sent up , the [G3588]ir root [G4491][G1473] as [G5613] dust will be , and [G2532] the [G3588]ir flower [G1473] as [G5613] a cloud of dust [G2868] will ascend ; for they did not [G3756][G1063] want [G2309] the [G3588] law [G3551] of Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519]; but the [G3588] oracle [G3051] of the [G3588] holy one of Israel they provoked [G3947].
25: And [G2532] was enraged [G2373] in anger [G3709] Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] against [G1909] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473]. And [G2532] he put [G1911] the [G3588] a hand [G5495] against [G1909] them [G1473], and [G2532] he struck [G3960] them [G1473]. And [G2532] were provoked [G3947] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735], and [G2532] became [G1096] the [G3588]ir decaying flesh [G1473] as [G5613] dung [G2874] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of way [G3598]. And [G2532] in [G1722] all [G3956] these [G3778] was not [G3756] turned the [G3588] his rage [G2372][G1473], but still [G2089] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473] [is] high [G5308].
26: Accordingly [G5105] he will lift up an agreed upon sign [G4953] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] the [G3588] far off [G3113]; and [G2532] he will whistle at them [G1473] from uttermost part of the [G3588] land '[G1093]; and [G2532] look [G2400], quickly [G5036] nimbly they come [G2064].
27: They will not [G3756] hunger [G3983] nor [G3761] tire [G2872], nor [G3761] will they slumber [G3573] nor [G3761] will they go to sleep [G2837], nor [G3761] will they untie [G3089] the [G3588]ir belts [G2223][G1473] from the [G3588]ir loins [G3751][G1473], nor will they tear [away [G4486] the [G3588] straps [G2438] of the [G3588]ir sandals [G5266][G1473];
28: whose [G3739] the [G3588] arrows are sharp [G3691], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir bows [G5115][G1473] being stretched tight ; the [G3588] feet [G4228] of the [G3588]ir horses [G2462][G1473] as [G5613] solid [G4731] rock [G4073] are considered [G3049]; the [G3588] wheels [G5164] of the [G3588]ir chariots [G1473] as [G5613] a blast .
29: They advance [G3729] as [G5613] lions [G3023], and [G2532] stand beside [G3936] as [G5613] cubs lion [G3023]; and [G2532] he will take hold [G1949] and [G2532] will yell as [G5613] a wild beast [G2342], and [G2532] he will cast [them] out [G1544], and [G2532] there will not be [G3756] the [G3588] [one] rescuing [G4506] them [G1473].
30: And [G2532] he will yell on account of [G1223] them [G1473] the [G3588] in that day [G2250][G1565], as [G5613] sound [G5456] of sea [G2281] swelling up . And [G2532] they will look [G1689] into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] upward and [G2532] below [G2736]; and [G2532] look [G2400], darkness [G4655] a hard [G4642] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir perplexity [G1473].
