1: vision [G3706] which [G3739] looked [at] [G1492] Isaiah son [G5207] of Amoz], which [G3739] he looked [at] [G1492] against [G2596] the [G3588] Judea, and [G2532] against [G2596] Jerusalem, during [G1722] government ' of Uzziah, and [G2532] Jotham, and [G2532] Ahaz, and [G2532] Hezekiah, the ones who [G3739] reigned over the [G3588] Judea.
2: Hear , O raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] give ear [G1801] O land '[G1093]! For [G3754] Boss '[G2962] spoke, [saying [G2980], sons [G5207] I have engendered [G1080], and [G2532] raised them [G5312], but they [G1473][G1161] disregarded me [G1473].
3: knows [G1097] ox [G1016] the [G3588] [one] acquiring [it [G2932], and [G2532] donkey [G3688] [knows] the [G3588] stable [G5336] of the [G3588] its boss [G2962][G1473]; but Israel [G1161] me [G1473] does not [G3756] know [G1097], and [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] perceived not [G3756][G4920].
4: Woe [G3759], tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] O sinful , people [G2992] full [G4134] of sins , seed [G4690] an evil [G4190], sons [G5207] lawless . You abandoned [G1459] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] provoked to anger [G3949] the [G3588] holy one of the [G3588] Israel; they were separated into [G1519] the [G3588] rear [G3694].
5: Why [G5100] still [G2089] should you be struck [G4141], proceeding [G4369] in lawlessness ? whole [G3956] head [G2776] [is] in [G1519] misery [G4192], and [G2532] whole [G3956] heart [G2588] [is] in [G1519] distress [G3077].
6: From feet [G4228] unto [G2193] head [G2776] there is no [G3756] in [G1722] it [G1473] wholeness [G3647]. Neither [G3777] wound [G5134], nor [G3777] stripe [G3468], nor [G3777] wound [G4127] inflamed] [are healed ; there is no [G3756] dressing to place upon [it [G2007], nor [G3777] oil [G1637], nor [G3777] bandages .
7: the [G3588] Your land '[G1093][G1473] [is] desolate [G2048]; the [G3588] your cities [G4172][G1473] scorched ; the [G3588] your place [G5561][G1473] before [G1799] you [G1473] -- strangers devoure [G2719] it [G1473], and [G2532] it is made desolate [G2049], being eradicated [G2690] by [G5259] peoples [G2992] alien .
8: will be abandoned [G1459] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Zion] as [G5613] a tent [G4633] in [G1722] a vineyard , and [G2532] as [G5613] a storehouse in [G1722] a cucumber garden , as [G5613] a city [G4172] being assaulted .
9: And [G2532] unless [G1508] Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] left [G1459] us [G1473] a seed [G4690], as [G5613] Sodom we would have become [G1096], and [G2532] as [G5613] Gomorrah likened [G3666].
10: Hear word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962], O rulers of Sodom! Take heed to [G4337] law [G3551] of our God '[G2316][G1473], O people [G2992] of Gomorrah!
11: What are [G5100] to me [G1473] multitude [G4128] of the [G3588] your sacrifices [G2378][G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]? I am full [G4134] of whole burnt-offerings [G3646] of rams , and [G2532] fat of lambs ; and [G2532] blood of bulls [G5022] and [G2532] he-goats [G5131] I do not [G3756] want [G1014].
12: And neither [G3761] should you come [G2064] to appear [G3708] to me [G1473]; for who [G5100][G1063] required [G1567] these [G3778] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your hands [G5495][G1473]? to tread [G3961] the [G3588] my courtyard [G1473] You will not [G3756] proceed [G4369].
13: If [G1437] you should bring [G5342] fine flour [G4585], [it is in] vain [G3152]; incense [G2368] an abomination to me [G1473] is ; the [G3588] your new moons [G3561][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] Sabbaths [G4521] and [G2532] day [G2250] great [G3173] I cannot [G3756] endure .
14: [Your] fasting [G3521], and [G2532] idleness , and [G2532] the [G3588] your new moons [G3561][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your holidays [G1859][G1473] detests [G3404] the [G3588] soul [G5590] my [G1473]. You became [G1096] to me [G1473] as [G1519] a glut [G4140]; no longer [G3765] will I spare the [G3588] sins of you [G1473].
15: Whenever [G3752] you should stretch out [G1614] [your the [G3588] hands [G5495], I will turn the [G3588] my eyes [G3788][G1473] from you [G1473]. And [G2532] if [G1437] you should multiply [G4129] the [G3588] [your] supplication [G1162], I will not [G3756] listen to [G1522] you [G1473], for the [G3588] [G1063] your hands [G5495][G1473] of blood [are] full [G4134].
16: Bathe yourself [G3068]! clean [G2513] Become [G1096]! Remove the [G3588] wickednesses [G4189] from the [G3588] your souls [G5590][G1473] before the [G3588] my eyes [G3788][G1473]! Cease [G3973] from the [G3588] your wickednesses [G4189][G1473]!
17: Learn [G3129] good [G2570] to do [G4160]! Inquire [G1567] of equity [G2920]! Rescue [G4506] one wronged ! Judge [G2919] for orphan [G3737]! and [G2532] do justice [G1344] for widow [G5503]!
18: And [G2532] come [G1205], we should plead , says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] if [G1437] should be the [G3588] your sins [G1473] as [G5613] crimson , as [G5613] snow [G5510] I will whiten [G3021]; and if [G1437][G1161] they should be as [G5613] scarlet [G2847], as [G5613] wool [G2053] I will whiten [G3021].
19: And [G2532] if [G1437] you should want [G2309], and [G2532] [if] you should listen to [G1522] me [G1473], the [G3588] good [things] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] you will eat [G2068].
20: But if [G1437][G1161] you should not [G3361] want [G2309], nor [G3366] should you listen to [G1522] me [G1473], a sword [G3162] you [G1473] will devour [G2719]. For the [G3588][G1473] mouth [G4750] of Boss '[G2962] spoke [G2980] these [things] [G3778].
21: O how [G4459] became [G1096] a harlot [G4204] city [G4172] trustworthy [G4103] Zion], full [G4134] of judgment [G2920]; in [G1722] which [G3739] righteousness [G1343] slept [G2837] in [G1722] it [G1473], but now [G3568][G1161] murderers .
22: the [G3588] Your silver [G1473] [is] debased ; the [G3588] your peddlers [G1473] mingle the [G3588] wine [G3631] with water [G5204].
23: the [G3588] Your rulers [G1473] resist persuasion , [they are] partners [G2844] of thieves [G2812], loving bribes [G1435], pursuing [G1377] recompense , for orphans [G3737] not [G3756] arbitrating [G2919], and [G2532] equity [G2920] of widows [G5503] not [G3756] heeding [G4337].
24: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], thus [G3592] says [G3004] the [G3588] boss [G1203], Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519], Woe [G3759] the [G3588] [ones] being strong [G2480] of Israel, will not [G3756] cease [G3973] for [G1063] my [G1473] the [G3588] rage [G2372] among [G1722] the [G3588] contrary ones [G5227], and [G2532] judgment [G2920] on [G1537] the [G3588] my enemies [G2190][G1473] I will execute [G4160].
25: And [G2532] I will bring [G1863] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1909] you [G1473], and [G2532] I will purify [G4448] you [G1473] to [G1519] cleanness [G2513]. But the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] resisting persuasion I will destroy , and [G2532] I will remove all [G3956] lawless ones from you [G1473].
26: And [G2532] all [G3956] proud [G5244] I will abase [G5013]; and [G2532] I will stand [G2186] the [G3588] your judges [G2923][G1473] as [G5613] for the [G3588]merly [G4387], and [G2532] the [G3588] your counselors [G4825][G1473] as [G5613] the [G3588] at beginning . And [G2532] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778] you will be called [G2564], City [G4172] of Righteousness [G1343], mother-city [G3390] trustworthy [G4103] Zion.
27: For with [G3326][G1063] judgment [G2917] will be delivered [G4982] the [G3588] her captivity [G1473], and [G2532] with [G3326] charity [G1654].
28: And [G2532] will be broken [G4937] the [G3588] lawless ones and [G2532] the [G3588] sinners together ; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] abandoning [G1459] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] will be finished off entirely [G4931].
29: For [G1360] they will be ashamed off the [G3588]ir idols [G1497][G1473], which [G3739] they [G1473] preferred [G1014]; and [G2532] they will be ashamed [G1870] over [G1909] the [G3588] gardens [G2779] which [G3739] they desired [G1937].
30: For they will be [G1063] as [G5613] a terebinth tree throwing off the [G3588] [its] leaves [G5444], and [G2532] as [G5613] a park [G3857] water [G5204] not [G3361] having [G2192].
31: And [G2532] will be the [G3588]ir strength [G2479][G1473] as [G5613] stubble [G2562] of hemp ; and [G2532] the [G3588]ir works [G2039][G1473] as [G5613] sparks , and [G2532] will be incinerated [G2618] the [G3588] lawless ones and [G2532] the [G3588] sinners together , and [G2532] there will not be [G3756] one the [G3588] extinguishing [G4570].
