Hosea Chapter 4 - | Early Church Bible

1: Hear word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962], O sons [G5207] of Israel! For [G3754] [there is] a case [G2920] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] against [G4314] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] the [G3588] land '[G1093], because [G1360] there is no [G3756] truth , nor [G3761] compassion [G1656], nor [G3761] full knowledge [G1922] of God '[G2316] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
2: Curse , and [G2532] lie [G5579], and [G2532] murder [G5408], and [G2532] fraud [G2829], and [G2532] adultery [G3430] -- it poured upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] blood with [G1909] blood they mingled .
3: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] will mourn [G3996] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] will be diminished with [G4862] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] it [G1473]; with [G4862] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] field , and [G2532] with [G4862] the [G3588] winged creatures [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; and [G2532] the [G3588] fishes [G2486] of the [G3588] sea [G2281] will fail [G1587],
4: so that [G3704] no [G3367] one [G3383] should adjudicate , nor [G3383] reprove [G1651] should any one [G3367]; the [G3588] but [G1161] my people [G2992][G1473] are as [G5613] a priest [G2409] disputing ;
5: and [G2532] he will weaken by day [G2250], and [G2532] will weaken also [G2532] prophet [G4396] with [G3326] you [G1473]. to night [G3571] I likened [G3666] the [G3588] your mother [G3384][G1473].
6: are likened [G3666] the [G3588] My people [G2992][G1473] as [G5613] [ones] not [G3756] having [G2192] knowledge [G1108]. For [since [G3754] full knowledge [G1922] thrusted away you [G1473], will thrust you away [G1473] even I [G2504] [so as] to the [G3588] not [G3361] officiate as priest [G2407] to me [G1473]. And [as [G2532] you forgot [G1950] laws [G3551] of your God '[G2316][G1473], I will forget [G1950] children [G5043] of you [G1473].
7: According to [G2596] the [G3588]ir multitude [G4128][G1473], so [G3779] they sinned against me [G1473]. the [G3588]ir glory [G1391][G1473] for [G1519] dishonor I will appoint [G5087].
8: sins of my people [G2992][G1473] they will eat [G2068], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir iniquities [G1473] will take [G2983] the [G3588]ir lives [G5590][G1473].
9: And [G2532] it will be as [G2531] the [G3588] people [G2992], so [G3779] also [G2532] the [G3588] priest [G2409]; and [G2532] I will avenge [G1556] upon [G1909] him [G1473] the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his deliberations [G1473] I will recompense to him [G1473].
10: And [G2532] they will eat [G2068], but [G2532] in no way should be filled up [G1705]. They committed harlotry [G4203], and [G2532] in no way should they be straightened [G2720]. Because [G1360] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] they abandoned [G1459] the [G3588] to watch for [G5442].
11: Harlotry [G4202], and [G2532] wine [G3631], and [G2532] strong drink , took [G1209] heart [G2588] of my people [G2992][G1473].
12: By [G1722] their symbols [G1473] they asked [G1905], and [G2532] by [G1722] their rods [G4464][G1473] they reported to him [G1473]. In a wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of harlotry [G4202] they were wandered [G4105], and [G2532] they fornicated [G1608] from the [G3588] God '[G2316] of them [G1473].
13: Upon [G1909] the [G3588] tops of the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] they were sacrificed , and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] hills [G1015] they were sacrificed [G2380] underneath [G5270] oak , and [G2532] white poplar , and [G2532] tree [G1186] overshadowing , for [G3754] good [G2570] protection . Because of [G1223] this [G3778] will fornicate [G1608] the [G3588] your daughters [G2364][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your brides [G3565][G1473] will commit adultery [G3431].
14: And [G2532] in no way will I pay a visit [G1980] unto [G1909] the [G3588] your daughters [G2364][G1473] whenever [G3752] they should commit harlotry [G4203], nor [G2532] unto [G1909] the [G3588] your daughters-in-law [G3565][G1473] whenever [G3752] they should commit adultery [G3431]. For [G3754] they themselves [G1473] with [G3326] the [G3588] harlots [G4204] blended together , and [G2532] with [G3326] the [G3588] [ones] initiating [rites [G5055] were sacrificed [G2380]. And [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] not [G3756] perceiving [G4920] closely joined with [G3326] harlot [G4204].
15: But you [G1473][G1161], O Israel, be not ignorant [G3361]! And [G2532] Judah, enter not [G3361][G1531] into [G1519] Gilgal, and [G2532] ascend not [G3361] unto [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of On, and [G2532] swear not an oath, [saying [G3361][G3660], lives [G2198] The Boss '[G2962]!
16: For [G3754] as [G5613] a heifer [G1151] being in heat Israel was heated . Now [G3568] will feed them [G1473] Boss '[G2962] as [G5613] a lamb in [G1722] a broad space [G2149].
17: was a partner [G3353] of idols [G1497] Ephraim], he made [G5087] obstacles to himself [G1473][G4625].
18: He took up [with] Canaanites, ones committing harlotry [G4203]. They fornicated [G1608] and [G2532] loved dishonor of [G1537] their neighing [G1473].
19: a tumultuous [G4963] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] You are [G1473] in [G1722] her wings [G4420][G1473], and [G2532] they will be disgraced [G2617] because of [G1537] the [G3588]ir altars [G2379][G1473].
