2: And [G2532] now [G3568] they proceeded [G4369] the [G3588] to sin , and [G2532] made [G4160] for themselves [G1438] molten castings of [G1537] the [G3588]ir silver [G1473], according to [G2596] image [G1504] of idols [G1497], works [G2041] of fabricators [G5045] being completed [G4931] for them [G1473]. They [G1473] say [G3004], Sacrifice [G2380] men , for calves [G3448][G1063] have ceased [G1587]!
3: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], they will be as [G5613] cloud [G3507] an early morning [G4407], and [G2532] as [G5613] dew early morning [G3720] going [away [G4198], as [G5613] dust being blown away from threshing floor , and [G2532] as [G5613] a vapor from tears [G1144].
4: But I [G1473][G1161] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], I [G1473] led you [G1473] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, and [G2532] a god [G2316] besides [G4133] me [G1473] you will not know [G3756][G1097], and [G2532] one delivering [G4982] there not [G3756] is besides me [G1473].
5: I [G1473] tended [G4165] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] in [G1722] land '[G1093] an uninhabited .
6: According to [G2596] the [G3588]ir pastures [G3542][G1473], so [G2532] they were filled [G1705] unto [G1519] fullness [G4140], and [G2532] they exalted [G5312] the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588][G1473]; because of [G1752] this [G3778] they forgot [G1950] me [G1473].
7: And [G2532] I will be to them [G1473] as [G5613] a panther , and [G2532] as [G5613] a leopard [G3917], according to [G2596] the [G3588] way [G3598] of Assyrians.
8: I will meet them [G1473] as [G5613] a bear the [G3588] being perplexed , and [G2532] I will tear up [G1284] enclosure of their heart [G2588][G1473]; and [G2532] will devour [G2719] them [G1473] there [G1563] cubs of forest ; and [G2532] wild beasts [G2342] of field will pull them apart [G1288][G1473].
9: the [G3588] In your corruption [G1312][G1473], O Israel, who [G5100] will help ?
10: Where [is [G4226] the [G3588] this your king [G1473][G3778]? and [G2532] let him preserve [G1295] you [G1473] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] your cities [G4172][G1473]! Let him judge [G2919] you [G1473]! whom [G3739] you said [G2036], Give [G1325] to me [G1473] a king and [G2532] a ruler !
11: And [G2532] I gave [G1325] to you [G1473] a king in [G1722] my anger [G3709][G1473], and [G2532] I sufficed [G2192] in [G1722] the [G3588] my rage [G2372][G1473].
12: A confederacy [G4963] of injustice ; Ephraim -- being hidden [G1470] his sin [G1473].
13: Pangs [G5604] as [G5613] one giving birth [G5088] will come [G2240] to him [G1473]; he [is [G3778] the [G3588] son [G5207] your [G1473] the [G3588] intelligent [G5429], because [G1360] now [G3568] in no way should he stand in [G1722] destruction of children [G5043].
14: From [G1537] hand [G5495] of Hades I will rescue [G4506] them [G1473]; from [G1537] death [G2288] I will ransom [G3084] them [G1473]. Where [is [G4226] the [G3588] your punishment [G1349][G1473], O death [G2288]? Where [is [G4226] the [G3588] your sting [G2759][G1473], O Hades ? Consolation [G3874] is hidden [G2928] from my eyes [G3788][G1473].
15: For [G1360] this [G3778], between brothers [G1473] he will separate [G1291]; will bring up [G1863] a burning [G2742] wind Boss '[G2962] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] upon [G1909] him [G1473], and [G2532] he will dry up the [G3588] his arteries [G1473]; he will make quite desolate the [G3588] his springs [G4077][G1473]; he [G1473] will totally dry up the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] items [G4632] the [G3588] his desirable [G1473].
16: Samaria will be obliterated , for [G3754] she withstood against [G4314] her God '[G2316][G1473]. By [G1722] broadsword [G4501] they will fall [G4098], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] under their breasts [G1473] will be dashed [G1474], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] in the [G1722] womb [G1064] having one [G2192] of them [G1473] will be torn up [G1284].
