Hosea Chapter 11 - | Early Church Bible

1: Early [G3722] they were disowned , was disowned king of Israel]; for [G1360] Israel [is] an infant [G3516], and [G2532] I [G1473] loved him [G1473], and [G2532] from out of [G1537] Egypt I called back [G3333] the [G3588] his children [G5043][G1473].
2: As [G2531] I called them back [G3333][G1473], so [G3779] they moved from [G1537] in front [G4383] of me [G1473]; they [G1473] to the [G3588] Baalim sacrificed [G2380]; and [G2532] to the [G3588] carved [images they burned incense [G2370].
3: And [G2532] I [G1473] bound the [G3588] Ephraim; I took him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my arm [G1023][G1473]; and [G2532] they knew not [G3756][G1097] that [G3754] I have healed [G2390] them [G1473].
4: In [G1722] corruption [G1312] of men I stretched [G1614] them [G1473] with [G1722] bonds [G1199] of my affections [G1473]. And [G2532] I will be to them [G1473] as [G5613] slapping [G4474] a man upon [G1909] the [G3588] his cheek [G4600][G1473]; and [G2532] I will look [G1914] to [G4314] him [G1473]; I will prevail [G1410] to him [G1473].
5: Ephraim dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] Egypt, and [G2532] Assyria he [was [G1473] his king [G1473], for [G3754] he did not [G3756] want [G2309] to return [G1994].
6: And [G2532] he weakened by [G1722] broadsword [G4501] in [G1722] the [G3588] his cities [G4172][G1473], and [G2532] he rested [G2664] with [G1722] the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473]; and [G2532] they will eat [G2068] of [G1537] the [G3588]ir own deliberations [G1473].
7: And [G2532] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473] are hanging from [G1537] the [thing] [G3588] of his house [G2733][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] against [G1909] the [G3588] his esteemed [G5093][G1473] will be enraged [G2373], and [G2532] in no way should he exalt him [G5312][G1473].
8: How [G5100] will I deal with you [G1473][G4160], O Ephraim? will I shield you [G1473], O Israel? How [G5100] will I deal with you [G1473][G4160] -- as [G5613] Admah? will I appoint [G5087] you [G1473] even [G2532] as [G5613] Zeboim? will be converted [G3344] the [G3588] My heart [G2588][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] same [thing] [G1473]; was disturbed the [G3588] my repentance [G1473].
9: No way will I act [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] anger [G3709] of the [G3588] my rage [G2372][G1473]. No way should I abandon [G1459] the [G3588] Ephraim to be wiped away [G1813] the [G3588]. Because [G1360] the [G3588] God '[G2316] I [G1473] am , and [G2532] not [G3756] man ; among [G1722] you [G1473] holy one , and [G2532] I will not enter [G3756][G1525] into [G1519] city [G4172].
10: after [G3694] Boss '[G2962] I will go [G4198]; as [G5613] a lion [G3023] he will bellow [G2044]; for [G3754] he [G1473] will roar [G5612], and [G2532] will be startled [G1839] children [G5043] of waters [G5204].
11: They will be startled [G1839] as [G5613] a bird [G3732] from out of [G1537] Egypt, and [G2532] as [G5613] a dove [G4058] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Assyrians; and [G2532] I will restore them [G1473] unto [G1519] the [G3588]ir houses [G3624][G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
12: encircled [G2944] me [G1473] with [G1722] a lie [G5579] Ephraim], and [G2532] with [G1722] impious deeds house [G3624] of Israel and [G2532] Judah]; [but] now [G3568] knew [G1097] them [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] people [G2992] a pure ' they will be called [G2564] of God '[G2316].
