1: seeing [G1492] And [G1161] Jacob] that [G3754] there is grain [G4621] for sale in [G1722] Egypt, said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], Why [G2444] are you lazy ?
2: look [G2400], I have heard that [G3754] there is grain [G4621] in [G1722] Egypt; go down [G2597] there [G1563] and [G2532] buy for us [G1473] a small [amount [G3397] of foods [G1033]! that [G2443] we should live [G2198], and [G2532] not [G3361] die .
3: went down [G2597] And [G1161] the [G3588] brothers of Joseph], the [G3588] ten [G1176], to buy grain [G4621] from [G1537] Egypt.
4: the [G3588] But [G1161] Benjamin the [G3588] brother of Joseph [was] not [G3756] sent with [G3326] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473]. For he said [G2036][G1063], Lest at any time [G3379] should come to pass [G4819] to him [G1473] an infirmity [G3119].
5: came [G2064] And [G1161] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel] to buy with [G3326] the [ones] the [G3588] coming [G2064]; was for [G1063] the [G3588] famine [G3042] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan.
6: And Joseph [G1161] was the [G3588] ruler of the [G3588] land '[G1093]; he [G3778] sold [G4453] to all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093]. coming [G2064] And [G1161] the [G3588] brothers of Joseph] did obeisance [G4352] to him [G1473] upon [G1909] [their] face [G4383] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
7: seeing [G1492] And [G1161] Joseph the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] recognized [G1921] and [G2532] alienated himself from them [G1473], and [G2532] he spoke [G2980] to them [G1473] hard [G4642]. And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], From what place [G4159] have you come [G2240]? And they the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], From out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Canaan, to buy foods [G1033].
8: recognized [G1921] And [G1161] Joseph the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473], but they [G1473][G1161] did not [G3756] recognize [G1921] him [G1473].
9: And [G2532] Joseph remembered [G3403] the [G3588] his dreams [G1798][G1473], of which [G3739] he himself saw [G1492][G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], You are spies [G2685] to study [G2657] the [G3588] tracks [G2487] of the [G3588] place [G5561] [in which] you have come [G2240].
10: the [G3588] And [G1161] they said [G2036], Not [so [G3780], O boss [G2962], the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473] came [G2064] to buy foods [G1033].
11: We are all [G3956] sons [G5207] of one [G1520] man ; we are peaceable [G1516]. not [G3756] are the [G3588] Your servants [G3816][G1473] spies [G2685].
12: And he said [G2036][G1161] to them [G1473], No [G3780], but the [G3588] tracks [G2487] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] you came [G2064] to see [G1492].
13: the [G3588] And [G1161] they said [G2036], twelve [G1427] We are the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473] brothers in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan; and [G2532] look [G2400], the [G3588] our younger [brother [G3501][G1473] [is] with [G3326] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] today [G4594], and the [G3588][G1161] other [G2087] does not [G3756] exist [G5224].
14: said [G2036] And [G1161] to them [G1473] Joseph], This [G3778] is it that [G3739] I have said [G2046] to you [G1473], saying [G3004] that [G3754], You are spies [G2685].
15: In [G1722] this [G3778] you will appear [exposed [G5316], by [G3513] the [G3588] health of Pharaoh, no way should you go forth [G1831] from here [G1782], if [G1437] should not [G3361] the [G3588] brother your [G1473] the [G3588] younger [G3501] come [G2064] here [G5602].
16: You send from [G1537] you [G1473] one [G1520], and [G2532] take [G2983] the [G3588] your brother [G1473]! But you [G1473][G1161] will be taken away until [G2193] the [G3588] apparent [G5318] become [G1096] the [G3588] your sayings [G4487][G1473], if [G1487] you be truthful , or [G2228] not [G3756]. But if not [G1490], by [G3513] the [G3588] health of Pharaoh, assuredly [G2229] you are spies [G2685].
17: And [G2532] he put [G5087] them [G1473] in [G1722] prison [G5438] days [G2250] three [G5140].
18: And he said [G2036][G1161] to them [G1473] the [G3588] day [G2250] on the [G3588] third [G5154], You do this [G3778][G4160] and [G2532] you will live [G2198]! the [G3588] God '[G2316] For [G1063] I [G1473] fear [G5399].
19: If [G1487] you are peaceable [G1516], of your brothers [G1473] let be held [G2722] one [G1520] in [G1722] the [G3588] prison [G5438]! but you yourselves [G1473][G1161] proceed , and [G2532] take back the [G3588] purchase of the [G3588] your provision [G1473]!
20: And [G2532] the [G3588] brother your [G1473] the [G3588] younger [G3501] you convey ' to [G4314] me [G1473]! and [G2532] I will trust '[G4100] the [G3588] your sayings [G4487][G1473]; but if not [G1490] you will die . And they did [G4160][G1161] so [G3779].
21: And [G2532] said [G2036] each [G1538] to [G4314] the [G3588] brother of him [G1473], Yes [G3483], in [G1722] sins for [G1063] we are on account of [G4012] the [G3588] our brother [G1473], for [G3754] we overlooked [G5237] the [G3588] affliction [G2347] of the [G3588] his soul [G5590][G1473] when [G3753] he besought us [G1473], and [G2532] we did not [G3756] listen to [G1522] him [G1473], and [G2532] because of [G1752] this [G3778] came [G1904] upon [G1909] us [G1473] the [G3588] this affliction [G2347][G3778].
22: answering And [G1161] Reuben] said [G2036] to them [G1473], Did I not [G3756] speak [G2980] to you [G1473], saying [G3004], You should not [G3361] wrong the [G3588] lad [G3808], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] hearken to [G1522] me [G1473]? And [G2532] look [G2400], the [G3588] blood of him [G1473] is required [G1567].
23: And they [G1473][G1161] did not [G3756] know [G1492] that [G3754] Joseph heard , for the [G3588][G1063] translator between them [G1473] was .
24: And turning [G1161] from them [G1473], Joseph wept [G2799]. And [G2532] again [G3825] he came forward [G4334] to [G4314] them [G1473], and [G2532] spoke [G2036] to them [G1473]. And [G2532] he took [G2983] the [G3588] Simeon from them [G1473], and [G2532] he tied [G1210] him [G1473] before [G1726] them [G1473].
25: gave charge [G1781] And [G1161] Joseph] to fill up [G1705] the [G3588]ir containers [G1473] of grain [G4621], and [G2532] to give back the [G3588]ir silver [G1473] to each [G1538] in [G1519] the [G3588] his sackcloth [G4526][G1473], and [G2532] to give [G1325] them [G1473] provisions [G1979] for [G1519] the [G3588] journey [G3598]. And [G2532] it became [G1096] to them [G1473] so [G3779].
26: And [G2532] placing [G2007] the [G3588] grain [G4621] upon [G1909] the [G3588]ir donkeys [G3688][G1473], they went forth from there [G1564].
27: untying [G3089] And [G1161] one [G1520] the [G3588] his bag [G1473], to give [G1325] fodder [G5527] [to the [G3588] his donkeys [G3688][G1473] where [G3739] they rested [G2647], and [G2532] he saw [G1492] the [G3588] bundle [G1199] of the [G3588] silver of him '[G1473], for [G2532] it was upon [G1883] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of the [G3588] bag .
28: And [G2532] he said [G2036] the [G3588] to brothers of him [G1473], was given back to me [G1473] the [G3588] silver , and [G2532] look [G2400], this [G3778] [is] in [G1722] the [G3588] my bag [G1473]. And [G2532] it startled [G1839] the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] they were disturbed [G5015] with [G4314] one another , saying [G3004], What [G5100] [is] this [G3778] God did [G4160] the [G3588][G2316] to us [G1473]?
29: And they came [G2064][G1161] to [G4314] Jacob the [G3588]ir father [G3962][G1473] in [G1519] land '[G1093] of Canaan. And [G2532] they reported to him [G1473] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] coming to pass [G4819] to them [G1473], saying [G3004],
30: spoke [G2980] the [G3588] man the [G3588] boss [G2962] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] to [G4314] us [G1473] hard [G4642], and [G2532] put [G5087] us [G1473] in [G1722] prison [G5438] as [G5613] spying out [G2684] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
31: And we said [G2036][G1161] to him [G1473], We are peaceable [G1516], we are not [G3756] spies [G2685].
32: Twelve [G1427] brothers we are , sons [G5207] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473]; the [G3588] [one] [G1520] does not [G3756] exist [G5224], and the [G3588][G1161] younger [G3397] [is] with [G3326] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] today [G4594] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan.
33: said [G2036] And [G1161] to us [G1473] the [G3588] man the [G3588] boss [G2962] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], By [G1722] this [G3778] I will know [G1097] that [G3754] you are peaceable [G1516], of your brothers [G1473] you leave one [G1520] here [G5602] with [G3326] me [G1473]! and the [G3588][G1161] purchase of the [G3588] provision for the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473] having taken [G2983], you go forth !
34: And [G2532] you convey ' to [G4314] me [G1473] the [G3588] brother your [G1473] the [G3588] younger [G3501]! and [G2532] I will know [G1097] that [G3754] not [G3756] spies [G2685] you are , but that [G3754] you are peaceable [G1516], and [G2532] the [G3588] your brother [G1473] I will give back to you [G1473], and [G2532] in the [G3588] land '[G1093] you can trade [G1710]!
35: And it happened [G1096][G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir emptying [G1473] the [G3588]ir sackcloths [G4526][G1473], and [G2532] there was in each [G1538] the [G3588] a bundle [G1199] of the [G3588] silver in [G1722] the [G3588]ir sackcloth [G4526][G1473]. And [G2532] they saw [G1492] the [G3588] bundles [G1199] of the [G3588]ir silver [G1473] to them [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] they feared [G5399].
36: said [G2036] And [G1161] to them [G1473] Jacob the [G3588]ir father [G3962][G1473], You are making me childless [G1473]; Joseph not [G3756] is , Simeon not [G3756] is , and [G2532] the [G3588] will you take Benjamin [G2983]? Upon [G1909] me [G1473] happened [G1096] these [things] [G3778] all [G3956].
37: said [G2036] And [G1161] Reuben] to the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], saying [G3004], the [G3588] two [G1417] sons [G5207] of mine [G1473] you may kill if [G1437] I do not lead [G3361] him [G1473] to [G4314] you [G1473]. You give [G1325] him [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473], and I [G2504] will lead him [G1473] to [G4314] you [G1473].
38: the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036], will not [G3756] go down [G2597] the [G3588] My son [G5207][G1473] with [G3326] you [G1473], for [G3754] the [G3588] brother of him [G1473] died , and [G2532] he [G1473] alone [G3441] is left behind [G2641]. And [G2532] [suppose] it will come to pass [G4819] [that] he [G1473] be infirm in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598] which [G3739] ever you go [G4198], and [G2532] you will lead [G2609] me [G1473] the [G3588] in old age [G1094] with [G3326] distress [G3077] into [G1519] Hades .
