Deuteronomy Chapter 18 - | Early Church Bible

1: There will not [G3756] be to the [G3588] priests [G2409], to the [G3588] Levites, entire [G3650] tribe [G5443] of Levi, a portion [G3310] nor [G3761] a lot [G2819] with [G3326] Israel. yield [offerings of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] [are] their lot [G2819][G1473] -- they will eat [G2068] them [G1473].
2: a lot [G2819] And [G1161] there will not [G3756] be to him [G1473] among [G1722] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473]; Boss '[G2962] himself [G1473] [is] his lot [G2819][G1473], in so far as [G2530] he said [G2036] to him [G1473].
3: And [G2532] this [is [G3778] the [G3588] distinguishing thing [G2920] of the [G3588] priests [G2409] -- the [things] [G3588] from [G3844] the [G3588] people [G2992], from [G3844] the [G3588] [ones] sacrificing [G2380] the [G3588] sacrifices [G2378], if [G1437] both [G5037] a calf [G3448], or if [G1437] also [G5037] a sheep [G4263] -- that [G2532] you will give [G1325] the [G3588] shoulder [G1023] to the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] jawbones , and [G2532] the [G3588] large intestine ,
4: and [G2532] the [G3588] first-fruits of the [G3588] your grain [G4621][G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] your wine [G3631][G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] your olive oil [G1637][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] first-fruit of the [G3588] shearing of the [G3588] your sheep [G4263][G1473] you will give [G1325] to him [G1473]:
5: for [G3754] chose him [G1473][G1586] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] your tribes [G5443][G1473], to stand [G3936] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], to officiate [G3008] in [G1909] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962], he [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473] all [G3956] the [G1473] days [G2250].
6: And if [G1437][G1161] should come [G3854] the [G3588] Levite] from [G1537] one [G1520] of the [G3588] your cities [G4172][G1473] of [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, of which [G3739] he himself [G1473] sojourns [G3939], that [G2530][G3754] desires [G1937] the [G3588] his soul [G5590][G1473], into [G1519] the [G3588] place [G5117] which [G3739] ever BOSS should choose [G1586][G2962];
7: then [G2532] he will officiate [G3008] in the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of him [G1473], as [G5618] all [G3956] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] the [G3588] Levites, the [G3588] [ones] standing [G3936] there [G1563] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962].
8: a portion [G3310] having been portioned [G3307] He will eat [G2068], besides [G4133] the [G3588] sale of the [things] [G3588] of his [G2596] family [G3965].
9: And whenever [G1437][G1161] you should enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473], you will not [G3756] learn [G3129] to do [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] abominations of the [G3588] those tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G1565].
10: There will not [G3756] be found [G2147] in [G1722] you [G1473] one purging the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] or [G2228] the [G3588] his daughter [G2364][G1473] in [G1722] fire [G4442], [or] one using oracles [G3132] for divination , [or] one prognosticating and [G2532] foretelling ,
11: an administer of potions [G5333], one charming an enchantment , one who delivers oracles , and [G2532] an observer of signs asking [G1905] of the [G3588] dead [G3498].
12: is For [G1063] an abomination [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] every one [G3956] doing [G4160] these [things] [G3778]. For because of [G1752][G1063] the [G3588]se abominations [G3778] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] will utterly destroy [G1842] them [G1473] from face [G4383] of you [G1473].
13: You will be perfect [G5046] before [G1726] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473].
14: for the [G3588] [G1063] these tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G3778] which [G3739] you [G1473] inherit them [G1473], these [G3778] prognostications and [G2532] divinations will hear ; but to you [G1473][G1161] did not [G3756] so [G3779] give [G1325] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473].
15: A prophet [G4396] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your brothers [G1473], as [G5613] me [G1473], will raise up to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473]; him [G1473] you will hear .
16: According to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] you asked of [G3844] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] in [G1722] Horeb, in the [G3588] day [G2250] of the [G3588] assembly [G1577], saying [G3004], We will not [G3756] add [G4369] to hear the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] fire [G4442] this [G3778] the [G3588] great [G3173] we will not [G3756] see [G3708] any longer [G2089], nor will we die .
17: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], Rightly [G3723] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] they spoke [G2980].
18: a prophet [G4396] I will raise up to them [G1473] from [G1537] amidst [G3319] the [G3588]ir brothers [G1473], as [G5618] you [G1473], and [G2532] I will put [G1325] the [G3588] my word [G4487][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of him [G1473]; and [G2532] he will speak [G2980] to them [G1473] in so far [G2530][G3754] as I give charge [G1781] to him [G1473].
19: And [G2532] the [G3588] man who [G3739] ever should not [G3361] hear the [G3588] his words [G3056][G1473], as many as [G3745] should speak [G2980] the [G3588] prophet [G4396] in [G1909] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473], I [G1473] will exact punishment [G1556] from [G1537] him [G1473].
20: Except [G4133] the [G3588] prophet [G4396], who [G3739] ever should be impious to speak [G2980] a word [G4487] in [G1909] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473], which [G3739] I did not [G3756] assign [G4367] to him [G1473] to speak [G2980], and [G2532] who [G3739] ever should speak [G2980] in [G2089] name [G3686] of gods '[G2316] other [G2087], will die the [G3588] that prophet [G4396][G1565].
21: But if [G1437][G1161] you should say [G2036] in [G1722] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473], How [G4459] will we know [G1097] the [G3588] word [G4487] which [G3739] spoke not [G3756][G2980] Boss '[G2962]?
22: As many [things] [G3745] as should speak [G2980] the [G3588] prophet [G4396] in [G2089] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] should not [G3361] take place [G1096] the [G3588] thing [G4487], and [G2532] should not [G3361] come to pass [G4819] this [G3778] the [G3588] thing [G4487] which [G3739] spoke not [G3756][G2980] Boss '[G2962]; through [G1722] impiety spoke [G2980] the [G3588] prophet [G4396]; you will not [G3756] receive from him [G1473].
