1: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] in [G1722] the [fact the [G3588] of the [G3588] Apollos being in [G1722] Corinth, Paul having gone through [G1330] the [G3588] remote parts [G3313], came [G2064] unto [G1519] Ephesus; and [G2532] having found [G2147] certain [G5100] disciples [G3101],
2: he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], Did [G1487] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] pure ' you receive [G2983] having trusted '[G4100]? the [G3588] And [G1161] they said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], Not even [G3761] if [G1487] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] pure ' there is have we heard .
3: And he said [G2036][G5037] to [G4314] them [G1473], By [G1519] what [G5100] then [G3767] were you submerged ? the [G3588] And [G1161] they said [G2036], By [G1519] the [G3588] immersion of John .
4: said [G2036] And [G1161] Paul], John indeed [G3303] submerged with a submergence of repentance [G3341], to the [G3588] people [G2992] saying [G3004], on [G1519] the [G3588] [one] coming [G2064] after [G3326] him [G1473] that [G2443] they should trust '[G4100], that is to say [G5123] in [G1519] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547].
5: And having heard [G1161], they were submerged in [G1519] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
6: And [G2532] having put upon [G2007] them [G1473] the [G3588] Paul the [G3588] hands [G5495], came [G2064] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of the [G3588] [one] pure ' upon [G1909] them [G1473], both speaking [G2980][G5037] languages [G1100] and [G2532] prophesying [G4395].

8: And having entered [G1525][G1161] into [G1519] the [G3588] synagogue [G4864], he spoke openly [G3955] for [G1909] months [G3376] three [G5140], reasoning [G1256] and [G2532] persuading [G3982] the [things] [G3588] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].

11: And [works of] power [G1411], not [G3756] the [G3588] happening by chance [G5177], God did [G4160] the [G3588][G2316] through [G1223] the [G3588] hands [G5495] of Paul,
12: so that [G5620] even [G2532] unto [G1909] the [G3588] [ones] being invalid were borne [G2018] from the [G3588] his flesh [G5559][G1473] scarfs [G4676] or [G2228] aprons [G4612], and [G2532] were rid from them [G1473] the [G3588] diseases [G3554], and the [G3588][G5037] blowing airs (ghosts) '[G4151] the [G3588] evil [G4190] went forth [G1831] from them [G1473].
13: attempted [G2021][G1161] But [G1161] certain ones [G5100] off the [G3588] traveling [G4022] Jewish exorcists [G1845] to name [G3687] against [G1909] the [G3588] [ones] having [G2192] the [G3588] 10> blowing airs (ghosts) '[G4151] the [G3588] evil [G4190] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), saying [G3004], We bind [G3726] you [G1473] [by] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) whom [G3739] the [G3588] Paul proclaims [G2784]!
14: And there were [G1161] certain ones [G5100], sons [G5207] of Sceva a Jew a chief priest seven [G2033] the [G3588] doing this [G3778][G4160].
15: And responding the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] the [G3588] evil [G4190] said [G2036], the [G3588] Jesus (BOSS Saves) [G2424][H3091] I know [G1097], and [G2532] the [G3588] Paul I have knowledge of [G1987]; but you [G1473], who [G5100] are you ?
16: And [G2532] springing [G2177] upon [G1909] them [G1473] the [G3588] man , in [G1722] whom [G3739] was the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] the [G3588] evil [G4190], and [G2532] having dominated [G2634] them [G1473], he prevailed [G2480] against [G2596] them [G1473], so that [G5620] naked [G1131] and [G2532] wounded [G5135] they fled [G1628] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] that house [G3624][G1565].
17: And this [G3778][G1161] became [G1096] known [G1110] to all [G3956], both Jews [G5037] and [G2532] Greeks, the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] the [G3588] in Ephesus. And [G2532] fell [G1968] fear [G5401] upon [G1909] all [G3956] of them [G1473], and [G2532] was magnified [G3170] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] Jesus (BOSS Saves) [G2424][H3091].
18: And many [G4183][G5037] of the [G3588] [ones] trusting '[G4100] came [G2064], acknowledging [G1843] and [G2532] announcing the [G3588]ir actions [G4234][G1473].
19: And a fit amount [G2425][G1161] of the [G3588] [ones] the [G3588] useless works [G4021] practicing [G4238] found it advantageous [G4851] the [G3588] books to incinerate [G2618] before [G1799] all [G3956]; and [G2532] they joined in tallying [G4860] the [G3588]ir value [G5092][G1473], and [G2532] found [it to be [G2147] of silver ten-thousands [G3461] five [G4002].
20: Thus [G3779] with [G2596] might [G2904] the [G3588] word [G3056] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] grew and [G2532] strengthened [G2480].
21: And when [G5613][G1161] these [things] were fulfilled [G4137][G3778], Paul set [G5087] the [G3588] in [G1722] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151], having gone through [G1330] the [G3588] Macedonia and [G2532] Achaia, to go [G4198] unto [G1519] Jerusalem, having said [G2036] that [G3754], After [G3326] the [G3588] my being [G1096][G1473] there [G1563], it is necessary [G1163] for me [G1473] also [G2532] to see Rome [G1492].
22: And having sent [G1161] unto [G1519] the [G3588] Macedonia two [G1417] of the [G3588] [ones] serving [G1247] him [G1473], Timothy and [G2532] Erastus, he [G1473] waited for [G1907] a time [G5550] in [G1519] the [G3588] Asia.
23: And came to pass [G1096][G1161] according to [G2596] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565] disturbance [G5017] no [G3756] little [G3641] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] way [G3598].
24: For Demetrius [G1063], a certain one [G5100] by name [G3686], a silversmith , making [G4160] temples [G3485] of silver of Artemis, furnished [G3930] to the [G3588] craftsmen [G5079] work [G2039] no [G3756] little [G3641];
25: whom [G3739] gathering together [G4867], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] such [G5108] workers [G2040], said [G2036], Men , you know [G1987] that [G3754] from out of [G1537] this [G3778] the [G3588] work [G2039] the [G3588] our means [G2142][G1473] is .
26: And [G2532] you view [G2334] and [G2532] hear that [G3754] not [G3756] only [G3440] Ephesus, but nearly [G4975] all [G3956] the [G3588] Asia, the [G3588] this Paul [G3778], having persuaded [G3982], changed over [G3179] a fit [G2425] crowd [G3793], saying [G3004] that [G3754] not [G3756] are gods '[G2316] the [things] [G3588] by [G1223] hands [G5495] being [made [G1096].
27: not [G3756] only [G3440] And [G1161] this [G3778], it exposes danger [G2793] to us [G1473], [lest] the [G3588] part [G3313] into [G1519] disrepute come [G2064], but also [G2532] of the [G3588] [G3588] great [G3173] goddess [G2299] Artemis temple [G2413] as [G1519] nothing [G3762] [is] considered [G3049], is about [G3195] and [G1161] also [G2532] to be lowered [G2507] the [G3588] her magnificence [G3168][G1473], which [G3739] all [G3650] the [G3588] Asia and [G2532] the [G3588] habitable world [G3611] worship [G4576].
28: And having heard [G1161], and [G2532] having become [G1096] full [G4134] of rage [G2372], they cried out [G2896], saying [G3004], Great [is [G3173] the [G3588] Artemis of Ephesians.
29: And [G2532] was filled [G4130] the [G3588] city [G4172] entire [G3650] of confusion [G4799]. And they advanced [G3729][G5037] with one accord [G3661] unto [G1519] the [G3588]ater [G2302], having seized by force [G4884] Gaius and [G2532] Aristarcus, Macedonian traveling companions [G4898] of the [G3588] Paul.
30: the [G3588] And [G1161] Paul wanting [G1014] to enter [G1525] unto [G1519] the [G3588] people [G1218], did not [G3756] allow [G1439] him [G1473] the [G3588] disciples [G3101].
31: And certain ones [G5100][G1161] also [G2532] of the [G3588] Asiarchs, being friends with him [G1473][G5384], sending [G3992] to [G4314] him [G1473], appealed [G3870] to not [G3361] put [G1325] himself [G1438] in [G1519] the [G3588]ater [G2302].
32: Others therefore one [thing] and some another [G3303][G3767][G5100] were crying out [G2896]; was for [G1063] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] in tumult [G4797], and [G2532] the [G3588] most [G4183] did not [G3756] know [G1492] for what [reason [G5100][G1752] they had come together [G4905].
33: And from [G1537][G1161] the [G3588] crowd [G3793] they forced [G4264] Alexander, burgeoning him [forth [G4261][G1473] of the [G3588] Jews]; the [G3588] but [G1161] Alexander, having waved [G2678] the [G3588] [his] hand [G5495], wanted [G2309] to make a defense to the [G3588] people [G1218].
34: And recognizing [G1921][G1161] that [G3754] he is a Jew , voice [G5456] there became [G1096] one [G1520] from [G1537] all [G3956], for about [G5613][G1909] hours [G5610] two [G1417] crying out [G2896], Great [is [G3173] the [G3588] Artemis of Ephesians.
35: having restrained [G2687] And [G1161] the [G3588] scholar (scribe) '[G1122] (sofer [H5613])] the [G3588] crowd [G3793], says [G5346], Men , Ephesians, for what [G5100][G1063] man is [there who [G3739] does not [G3756] know [G1097] of the [G3588] Ephesians city [G4172] being a devotee [G3511] of the [G3588] great [G3173] goddess [G2299] Artemis, even [G2532] of the [G3588] [one] sent by Zeus [G1356]?
36: Indisputable then [G3767] being these [things] [G3778], it is necessary [G1163] for you [G1473] restrained [G2687] to be [G5224], and [G2532] in nothing [G3367] precipitously [G4312] to act [G4238].
37: For you conveyed '[G1063] the [G3588]se men [G3778], [who are] neither [G3777] sacrilegious [G2417] nor [G3777] blasphemous of the [G3588] your god [G2299][G1473].
38: If [G1487] indeed [G3303] then [G3767] Demetrius and [G2532] the [G3588] with [G4862] him [G1473] craftsmen [G5079] against [G4314] anyone [G5100] a word '[G3056] have [G2192], [let] advocates be conveyed '; and [G2532] there are proconsuls ; let them accuse [G1458] one another !
39: But if [G1487][G1161] anything [G5100] concerning [G4012] other [matters [G2087] you anxiously seek [G1934], in [G1722] the [G3588] lawful [G1772] assembly [G1577] it will be explained [G1956].
40: For also [G2532][G1063] we are exposed to danger [G2793] to be accused [G1458] of insurrection [G4714] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] today [G4594], [with] no one [G3367] reason existing [G5224] concerning [G4012] which [G3739] we will be able [G1410] to render [G1325] a word [G3056] for the [G3588] this tumult [G4963][G3778].
41: And [G2532] these [things] [G3778] having said [G2036], he dismissed the [G3588] assembly [G1577].
