1: And he arrived [G2658][G1161] at [G1519] Derbe and [G2532] Lystra. And [G2532] look [G2400], a certain trainee '[G3101][G5100] was there [G1563], by name [G3686] Timothy, son [G5207] woman [G1135] of a certain [G5100] Jewish believing [G4103], but father [G3962][G1161] [was] a Greek,
2: who [G3739] was borne witness to [G3140] by [G5259] the [G3588] in [G1722] Lystra and [G2532] Iconium brothers .
3: this one [G3778] Paul wanted [G2309] the [G3588] with [G4862] him [G1473] to go forth [G1831]. And [G2532] having taken [G2983], he circumcised [G4059] him [G1473] on account of [G1223] the [G3588] Jews, of the [G3588] [ones] being in [G1722] the [G3588] those places [G5117][G1565], they knew [G1492] for [G1063] all the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], that [G3754] he was a Greek [G5224].
4: And as [G5613][G1161] they traveled [G1279] the [G3588] cities [G4172], they delivered up [G3860] to them [G1473] to keep [G5442] the [G3588] decrees [G1378] the [G3588] being adjudged [G2919] [written] by [G5259] the [G3588] sent ones (apostles) ' and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245] the [G3588] in [G1722] Jerusalem.
5: the the [G3588]n indeed [G3303][G3767] assemblies [G1577] were solidified [G4732] in the [G3588] trust '[G4102], and [G2532] abounded [G4052] the [G3588] in number by [G2596] day [G2250].
6: And having gone through [G1330][G1161] the [G3588] Phrygian, and [G2532] the [G3588] Galatian region [G5561], they were restrained [G2967] by [G5259] the [G3588] pure ' wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] to speak [G2980] the [G3588] word [G3056] in [G1722] the [G3588] Asia.
7: Having come [G2064] down [G2596] the [G3588] to Mysia, they attempted [G3985] towards [G2596] the [G3588] Bithynia to go [G4198]; and [G2532] did not [G3756] allow [G1439] them [G1473] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151].
8: And going by [G3928][G1161] the [G3588] Mysia, they went down [G2597] unto [G1519] Troas.
9: And [G2532] a vision [G3705] by [G1223] the [G3588] night [G3571] appeared [G3708] the [G3588] to Paul; a certain man [G5100] of Macedonia was standing [G2476], appealing to [G3870] him [G1473], and [G2532] saying [G3004], Having passed over [G1224] into [G1519] Macedonia, help us [G1473]!
10: And as [G5613] the [G3588] vision [G3705] he beheld [G1492], immediately [G2112] we sought [G2212] to go forth [G1831] into [G1519] the [G3588] Macedonia, being instructed [G4822] that [G3754] called on [G4341] us [G1473] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] to good-word-convey '[G2097] to them [G1473].
11: Having embarked then [G3767] from the [G3588] Troas, we ran direct [G2113] unto [G1519] Samothrace, and the [G3588][G5037] following day [G1966] to [G1519] Neapolis;
12: and from there [G1564][G5037] to [G1519] Philippi, which [G3748] is a foremost [G4413] of the [G3588] portion [G3310] of the [G3588] Macedonia city [G4172], a colony [G2862]. And we were [G1161] in [G1722] tof him '[G1473] the [G3588] city [G4172] spending time [G1304] some days [G2250][G5100].
13: And on the [G3588][G5037] day [G2250] of the [G3588] Sabbaths [G4521] we went forth [G1831] outside [G1854] the [G3588] city [G4172] by [G3844] a river [G4215], of which [G3739] we thought [G3543] prayer [G4335] to be . And [G2532] having sat down [G2523] we spoke [G2980] to the [G3588] having gathered together [G4905] women [G1135].
14: And [G2532] a certain [G5100] woman [G1135], by name [G3686] Lydia, a seller of purple [G4211] of city [G4172] of Thyatira, who worshiped [G4576] the [G3588] God '[G2316], was listening ; of whom [G3739] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] opened wide [G1272] [her the [G3588] heart [G2588] to take heed [G4337] to the [things] [G3588] being spoken [G2980] by [G5259] the [G3588] Paul.
15: And as [G5613][G1161] she was being submerged , and [G2532] the [G3588] her house [G3624][G1473], she appealed [G3870], saying [G3004], If [G1487] you adjudge [G2919] me [G1473] trustworthy [G4103] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] to be , having entered [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] my house [G3624][G1473], abide [G3306]! And [G2532] she pressured [G3849] us [G1473].
16: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] of our going [G4198][G1473] unto [G1519] prayer [G4335], a certain maidservant [G3814][G5100] having [G2192] a wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of python [G4436] met us [G1473], which [G3748] work [G2039] much [G4183] furnished [G3930] the [G3588] to her bosses [G2962][G1473] divining oracles [G3132].
17: She [G3778] having followed closely after [G2628] the [G3588] Paul and [G2532] us [G1473], cried out [G2896] saying [G3004], These [G3778] the [G3588] men servants [G1401] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] highest [G5310] are , who [G3748] will announce [G2605] to us [G1473] way [G3598] of deliverance [G4991].
18: And this [G3778][G1161] she did [G4160] for [G1909] many [G4183] days [G2250]. being worked up [G1278] And [G1161] the [G3588] Paul], and [G2532] having turned [G1994], to the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] said [G2036], I summon [G3853] to you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547], to come forth [G1831] from her [G1473]. And [G2532] it came forth [G1831] the same [G1473] the [G3588] hour [G5610].
19: seeing [G1492] And [G1161] the [G3588] her bosses [G2962][G1473] that [G3754] went forth [G1831] the [G3588] hope [G1680] of the [G3588]ir work [G2039][G1473], having taken hold of [G1949] the [G3588] Paul and [G2532] the [G3588] Silas, drew [them [G1670] into [G1519] the [G3588] market unto [G1909] the [G3588] rulers .
20: And [G2532] leading them forward [G4317][G1473] to the [G3588] commandants [G4755], they said [G2036], These [G3778] the [G3588] men disturb [G1613] our [G1473] the [G3588] city [G4172], being Jews [G5224],
21: and [G2532] they announce [G2605] customs [G1485] which [G3739] are not [G3756] allowed [G1832] for us [G1473] to welcome [G3858], nor [G3761] to do [G4160], being Romans .
22: And [G2532] rose up together [G4911] the [G3588] crowd [G3793] against [G2596] them [G1473]. And [G2532] the [G3588] commandants [G4755] having torn off [G4048] the [G3588]ir garments [G2440][G1473], bid [G2753] to beat [them] with a rod [G4463].
23: many [G4183] And [G5037] having placed upon [G2007] them [G1473] strokes [G4127], they threw [them into [G1519] prison [G5438], exhorting [G3853] the [G3588] jailer [G1200] safely to keep [G5083] them [G1473];
24: who [G3739] exhortation [G3852] such [G5108] having received [G2983], cast them [G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] inner [G2082] prison [G5438], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir feet [G4228][G1473] safeguarded in [G1519] the [G3588] wood [stocks [G3586].
25: And towards [G2596][G1161] the [G3588] midnight [G3317], Paul and [G2532] Silas were praying [G4336], singing praise to [G5214] the [G3588] God '[G2316]; heeded [G1874] and [G1161] them [G1473] the [G3588] prisoners [G1198].
26: And suddenly [G1161] earthquake [G4578] took place [G1096] a great [G3173], so as [G5620] to shake [G4531] the [G3588] foundations [G2310] of the [G3588] jail [G1201]. were opened And [G5037] immediately [G3916] the [G3588] doors [G2374] all [G3956], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] bonds [G1199] were unfastened .
27: awakened out of sleep [G1853] And [G1161] being [G1096] the [G3588] jailer [G1200], and [G2532] looking [at] [G1492] being open the [G3588] doors [G2374] of the [G3588] prison [G5438], unsheathed [G4685] [his] sword [G3162], being about [G3195] to do away with himself [G1438], thinking [G3543] to have fled [G1628] the [G3588] prisoners [G1198].
28: spoke out [G5455] And [G1161] voice [G5456] with a great [G3173] the [G3588] Paul], saying [G3004], You should not [G3367] exact [G4238] on yourself [G4572] hurt [G2556], all together for [G1063] we are here [G1759].
29: And asking [G1161] for lights [G5457], he rushed in [G1530], and [G2532] trembling [G1790] being [G1096], he fell before [G4363] the [G3588] Paul and [G2532] the [G3588] Silas.
30: And [G2532] having led [G4254] them [G1473] outside [G1854], he said [G5346], Masters [G2962], what [G5100] is necessary for me [G1473][G1163] to do [G4160] that [G2443] I should be delivered [G4982]?
31: And they the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], Trust '[G4100] upon [G1909] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547], and [G2532] you will be delivered [G4982], you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473].
32: And [G2532] they spoke [G2980] to him [G1473] the [G3588] word [G3056] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] to all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588] his house [G3614][G1473].
33: And [G2532] having taken [G3880] them [G1473] in [G1722] that [G1565] the [G3588] hour [G5610] of the [G3588] night [G3571], he bathed [them [G3068] from the [G3588] strokes [G4127]; and [G2532] was submerged , he [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] all his [family [G1473][G3956] immediately [G3916].
34: And having led [G5037] them [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473], he placed [G3908] a table [G5132], and [G2532] jumped much with his whole family [G3832], having trusted '[G4100] the [G3588] in God '[G2316].
35: And day [G2250][G1161] having come [G1096] sent the [G3588] commandants [G4755] of the [G3588] lictors [G4465], saying [G3004], Release the [G3588] those men [G1565]!
36: reported And [G1161] the [G3588] jailer [G1200] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778] to [G4314] the [G3588] Paul, that [G3754], have sent the [G3588] commandants [G4755] that [G2443] you be released . Now [G3568] then [G3767] having gone forth [G1831], go [G4198] in [G1722] peace [G1515]!
37: the [G3588] But [G1161] Paul said [G5346] to [G4314] them [G1473], Having flayed [G1194] us [G1473] in public [G1219], uncondemned men , being Romans [G5224], they cast [us into [G1519] prison [G5438], and [G2532] now [G3568] in private [G2977] they cast us out [G1473][G1544]? No indeed [G3756][G1063], but having come [G2064] themselves [G1473] let [them] lead us out [G1473][G1806]!
38: announced And [G1161] to the [G3588] commandants [G4755] the [G3588] lictors [G4465] the [G3588]se words [G4487][G3778]; and [G2532] they feared [G5399], having heard that [G3754] they are Romans .
39: And [G2532] having come [G2064], they appealed to [G3870] them [G1473]; and [G2532] having led [them] out [G1806], they asked [them [G2065] to go forth out [G1831] of the [G3588] city [G4172].
40: And having gone forth [G1831][G1161] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] prison [G5438], they entered [G1525] to [G4314] the [G3588] Lydia; and [G2532] having seen [G1492] the [G3588] brothers , they comforted [G3870] them [G1473], and [G2532] they went forth [G1831].
