2 Corinthians Chapter 5 - | Early Church Bible

1: For we know [G1492][G1063] that [G3754] if [G1437] the [G3588] our house upon-the-land '[G1919][G1473][G3614] of the [G3588] tent [G4636] be rested up [G2647], a construction [G3619] from [G1537] God '[G2316] we have [G2192], a house [G3614] not made by hands , of the term (age) ' in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772].
2: For also [G2532][G1063] in [G1722] this [G3778] we moan [G4727], the [G3588] our dwelling-place [G3613][G1473] -- the [G3588] [one] of [G1537] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] to put on [G1902] longing [G1971];
3: if indeed [G1489] also [G2532] being clothed [G1746], not [G3756] naked [G1131] we will be found [G2147].
4: For also [G2532][G1063] the [G3588] [ones] being in [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4636] we] moan [G4727], being weighed down ; since [G1894] we do not [G3756] want [G2309] to be stripped [G1562], but to put on [G1902], that [G2443] should be swallowed down [G2666] the [G3588] mortal [G2349] by [G5259] the [G3588] life [G2222].
5: And the [G3588] [one] [G1161] manufacturing [G2716] us [G1473] for [G1519] this same [thing] [G1473][G3778] [is] God '[G2316], the [G3588] [one] also [G2532] having given [G1325] to us [G1473] the [G3588] deposit of the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151].
6: Taking courage [G2292] then [G3767] at all times [G3842], and [G2532] knowing [G1492] that [G3754] [while] dwelling at home [G1736] in [G1722] the [G3588] body [G4983], we are abroad [G1553] from the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
7: by [G1223] trust '[G4102] For [G1063] we walk [G4043], not [G3756] by [G1223] look [G1491].
8: And we take courage [G2292][G1161], and [G2532] we take pleasure [G2106] rather [G3123] to be abroad [G1553] from [G1537] the [G3588] body [G4983], and [G2532] to dwell at home [G1736] with [G4314] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
9: Therefore [G1352] also [G2532] we strive earnestly [G5389], whether [G1535] dwelling at home [G1736] or whether [G1535] being abroad [G1553], well-pleasing [G2101] to him [G1473] to be .
10: the [ones] [G3588] For [G1063] all [G3956] of us [G1473] be manifested [G5319] must [G1163] before [G1715] the [G3588] rostrum of the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547], that [G2443] should receive [G2865] each [G1538] the [things] [G3588] of [G1223] the [G3588] body [G4983], as [to [G4314] what [G3739] he practiced [G4238], whether [G1535] good [or] whether [G1535] bad [G2556].
11: Knowing [G1492] then [G3767] the [G3588] fear [G5401] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], men we persuade [G3982]. But to God '[G2316][G1161] we have been made apparent [G5319]; and I hope [G1679][G1161] also [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] your consciences [G4893][G1473] we have been made apparent [G5319].
12: For not [G3756][G1063] again [G3825] ourselves [G1438] we do commend [G4921] to you [G1473], but opportunity are giving [G1325] you [G1473] for boasting [G2745] over [G5228] us [G1473], that [G2443] you should have [something [G2192] against [G4314] the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] appearance [G4383] boasting [G2744], and [G2532] not [G3756] in heart [G2588].
13: For whether [G1535][G1063] we were startled [G1839], [it was] to God '[G2316]; or whether [G1535] we were of a sound mind [G4993], [it is] for you [G1473].
14: For the [G3588][G1063] love of the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547] constrains [G4912] us [G1473], having adjudged [G2919] this [G3778], that [G3754] if [G1487] one [G1520] for [G5228] all [G3956] died , then the [G3588] all [G3956] died ;
15: and [G2532] for [G5228] all [G3956] [that] he died , that [G2443] the [G3588] [ones] living [G2198] no longer [G3371] should live to themselves [G1438][G2198], but to the [G3588] [one] for [G5228] them [G1473] having died and [G2532] arising [G1453].
16: So that [G5620] we [G1473] from the [G3588] present [G3568] nothing [G3762] know [G1492] according to [G2596] flesh [G4561]. And if [G1487][G1161] also [G2532] we have known [G1097] according to [G2596] flesh [G4561] Anointed One [G5547], but now [G3568] no longer [G3765] do we know [him thus [G1097].
17: So that [G5620] if anyone [G1536] [be] in [G1722] Anointed "'[G5547], [there is] a new [G2537] creation [G2937], the [G3588] old [things] passed away [G3928]; look [G2400], have become [G1096] new [G2537] all [things] the [G3588][G3956].
18: the [G3588] And [G1161] all [things] [G3956] [are] of [G1537] the [G3588] God '[G2316], of the [G3588] reconciling [G2644] us [G1473] to himself [G1438] through [G1223] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547], and [G2532] having given [G1325] to us [G1473] the [G3588] service [G1248] of of the [G3588] reconciliation [G2643];
19: how [G5613] that [G3754] God '[G2316] was in [G1722] Anointed "'[G5547] arrangement '[G2889] reconciling [G2644] to himself [G1438], not [G3361] imputing [G3049] to them [G1473] the [G3588]ir transgressions [G3900][G1473], and [G2532] having put [G5087] in [G1722] us [G1473] the [G3588] word [G3056] of the [G3588] reconciliation [G2643].
20: For [G5228] of Anointed "'[G5547] then [G3767] we [are] ambassadors [G4243], as [G5613] of God '[G2316] appealing [G3870] through [G1223] us [G1473]; we beseech [G1189] for [G5228] Anointed "'[G5547] -- be reconciled [G2644] the [G3588] to God '[G2316]!
21: For the [G3588] [one] [G1063] not [G3361] knowing [G1097] sin , for [G5228] us [G1473] a sin [offering he made [G4160], that [G2443] we [G1473] should be [G1096] righteousness [G1343] of God '[G2316] by [G1722] him [G1473].
