2 Corinthians Chapter 12 - | Early Church Bible

1: To boast [G2744] indeed [G1211] is not [G3756] an advantage [G4851] to me [G1473]; for I will come [G2064][G1063] unto [G1519] [supernatural] appearings [G3701] and [G2532] revelations of Boss '[G2962].
2: I know [G1492] a man in [G1722] Anointed "'[G5547] ago [G4253] years [G2094] fourteen [G1180], (whether [G1535] in [G1722] body [G4983], I do not [G3756] know [G1492]; [or] whether [G1535] outside [G1623] the [G3588] body [G4983], I do not [G3756] know [G1492], the [G3588] God '[G2316] knows [G1492]) being seized by force the [G3588] [was] such a one [G5108] unto [G2193] third [G5154] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
3: And [G2532] I know [G1492] the [G3588] such [G5108] a man , (whether [G1535] in [G1722] body [G4983], or whether [G1535] outside [G1623] the [G3588] body [G4983], I do not [G3756] know [G1492], the [G3588] God '[G2316] knows) [G1492],
4: that [G3754] he was seized by force into [G1519] the [G3588] paradise [G3857], and [G2532] heard not made known sayings [G4487], which [G3739] is not allowed [G3756][G1832] for a man to speak [G2980].
5: Concerning [G5228] the [G3588] such a one [G5108] I will boast [G2744], but concerning [G5228][G1161] myself [G1683] I will not [G3756] boast [G2744], unless [G1508] in [G1722] the [G3588] my weaknesses [G1473].
6: For if [G1437][G1063] I should want [G2309] to boast [G2744], I will not be [G3756] a fool ; truth for [G1063] I will speak [G2046]. But I spare [G5339][G1161], lest [G3361] anyone [G5100][G1519] should consider me [G1473][G3049] above [G5228] what [G3739] he sees me [to be [G1473], or [G2228] hears anything [G5100] of [G1537] me [G1473].
7: And [G2532] [over] the [G3588] excess [G5236] of the [G3588] revelations so that [G2443] I should not [G3361] be elevated [G5229], there was given [G1325] to me [G1473] a barb [G4647] in the [G3588] flesh [G4561], a word-conveyer (messenger) ' of Satan [G4566], that [G2443] he should buffet me [G1473][G2852], that [G2443] I should not [G3361] be elevated [G5229].
8: For [G5228] this [G3778] three times [G5151] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] I appealed to [G3870] that [G2443] it should abstain from me [G1473].
9: And [G2532] he has said [G2046] to me [G1473], Sufficient to you [G1473] the [G3588] [is] my favor [G5484][G1473]. for the [G3588] [G1063] my power [G1411][G1473] in [G1722] weakness is perfected [G5048]. Most gladly [G2236] then [G3767] rather [G3123] I will boast [G2744] in [G1722] the [G3588] my weaknesses [G1473], that [G2443] should set up tent [G1981] over [G1909] me [G1473] the [G3588] power [G1411] of the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547].
10: Therefore [G1352] I think well [G2106] in [G1722] weaknesses , in [G1722] insults [G5196], in [G1722] necessities , in [G1722] pursuits [G1375], in [G1722] straits [G4730] for [G5228] Anointed "'[G5547]. For whenever [G3752][G1063] I should be weak , then [G5119] I am mighty [G1415].
11: I have become [G1096] a fool boasting [G2744] -- you [G1473] compelled me [G1473]. For I [G1473][G1063] ought [G3784] by [G5259] you [G1473] to be commended [G4921]; for in nothing [G3762][G1063] was I lacking [G5302] of the [G3588] more [G5228] exceeding [G3029] sent ones (apostles) ', if even [G1499] Nothing [G3762] I am .
12: Indeed the [G3588][G3303] signs [G4592] of the [G3588] sent one (apostle) ' were worked [G2716] among [G1722] you [G1473] in [G1722] all [G3956] endurance [G5281], in [G1722] signs [G4592], and [G2532] miracles [G5059], and [G2532] [works] of power [G1411].
13: For in what [G5100][G1063] is it that [G3739] you were inferior [G2274] beyond [G5228] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of assemblies [G1577], unless [G1508] that [G3754] I myself [G1473][G1473] was not [G3756] lax [G2655] of you [G1473]? Grant [G5483] me [G1473] the [G3588] this injustice [G3778]!
14: look [G2400], a third [time] [G5154] readily [G2093] I have [G2192] come [G2064] to [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] I will not [G3756] be lax [G2655] of you [G1473]. For I [do] not [G3756][G1063] seek [G2212] the [things] [G3588] of yours [G1473], but you [G1473]. not [G3756] For [G1063] ought [G3784] the [G3588] children [G5043] for the [G3588] parents [G1118] to treasure up [G2343], but the [G3588] parents [G1118] for the [G3588] children [G5043].
15: And I [G1473][G1161] most gladly [G2236] will spend [G1159] and [G2532] expend [G1550] for [G5228] the [G3588] your souls [G5590][G1473], if even [G1499] more exceedingly [G4056] loving you [G1473], less [G2276] I be loved .
16: But let it be [G1161]! I [G1473] did not [G3756] burden [G2599] you [G1473]; but being [G5224] clever [G3835], in cunning [G1388] I took you [G1473][G2983].
17: Did [G3361] by any [G5100] whom [G3739] I sent to [G4314] you [G1473], through [G1223] him [G1473] take advantage [G4122] of you [G1473]?
18: I appealed to [G3870] Titus, and [G2532] sent along with [him [G4882] the [G3588] brother . in anything [G3385] take advantage [G4122] of you [G1473] Did Titus]? not [G3756] by the [G3588] same [G1473] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] Do we walk [G4043]? Not [G3756] in the [G3588] same [G1473] tracks [G2487]?
19: Again [G3825], do you think [G1380] that [G3754] to you [G1473] we make a defense ? Before [G2714] the [G3588] God '[G2316] in [G1722] Anointed "'[G5547] we speak [G2980]. the [G3588] But [G1161] all [things] [G3956], beloved , [is] for [G5228] the [G3588] your [G1473] edification [G3619].
20: For I fear [G5399][G1063] perhaps [G3381] having come [G2064] not [G3756] as [G3634] I want [G2309] I should find [G2147] you [G1473]; and I [G2504] should be found [G2147] by you [G1473] such as [G3634] you want not [G3756][G2309]; lest perhaps [G3381] [there be] strife [G2054], jealousies [G2205], rages [G2372], contentions [G2052], evil speakings [G2636], whisperings [G5587], inflation of minds [G5450], commotions ;
21: lest [G3361] again [G3825] having come [G2064] should humble me [G1473][G5013] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473] as to [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] I should mourn [G3996] much [G4183] of the [G3588] [ones] previously sinning [G4258], and [G2532] not [G3361] having repented [G3340] over [G1909] the [G3588] uncleanness and [G2532] harlotry [G4202] and [G2532] lewdness which [G3739] they practiced [G4238].
