1: Trustworthy [G4103] [is] the [G3588] word [G3056]. If any [G1536] overseership [G1984] reaches for [G3713], a good [G2570] work [G2041] he desires [G1937].
2: It is necessary [G1163] then [G3767] the [G3588] overseer [G1985] to be unassailable , of one [G1520] wife [G1135] a husband , sober [G3524], discreet [G4998], composed [G2887], hospitable [G5382], qualified for teaching [G1317];
3: not [G3361] intemperate in the use of wine [G3943], not [G3361] a brawler [G4131], not [G3361] profiting through vice ; but lenient [G1933], not quarrelsome , not loving money ,
4: the [G3588] his own [G2398] house [G3624] well [G2573] standing over [G4291], children [G5043] having [G2192] in [G1722] submission [G5292] with [G3326] all [G3956] seriousness [G4587];
5: (and if [G1487][G1161] any [G5100] the [G3588] [ones] of his own [G2398] house [G3624] [how] to stand over [G4291] knows not [G3756][G1492], how [G4459] assembly [G1577] of God '[G2316] will he care for]? [G1959])
6: Not [G3361] a novice [G3504], that [G2443] not [G3361] being deluded [G5187] in [G1519] judgment [G2917] he should fall [G1706] of the [G3588] devil [G1228].
7: But it is necessary [G1163][G1161] for him [G1473] also [G2532] witness [G3141] a good [G2570] to have [G2192] from the [G3588] [ones] outside [G1855], that [G2443] not [G3361] into [G1519] scorning [G3680] he should fall [G1706], and [G2532] snare [G3803] of the [G3588] devil [G1228].
8: Servants [G1249] likewise [G5615] [be] serious [G4586], not [G3361] double-talking [G1351], not [G3361] wine [G3631] to much [G4183] attentive [G4337], not [G3361] profiting through vice ,
9: having [G2192] the [G3588] mystery [G3466] of the [G3588] trust '[G4102] with [G1722] a clean [G2513] conscience [G4893].
10: And these also [G2532][G3778][G1161] let them be approved [G1381] first [G4412], then [G1534] let them serve [G1247] being without reproach !
11: Wives [G1135] likewise [G5615] [be] serious [G4586], not [G3361] slanderers [G1228], sober [G3524], trustworthy [G4103] in [G1722] all [things] [G3956].
12: Servants [G1249] be of one [G1520] wife [G1135] husbands ! children [G5043] well [G2573] standing over [G4291] and [G2532] their own the [G3588][G2398] houses [G3624].
13: For the [G3588] [ones] [G1063] well [G2573] having served [G1247] rank for themselves [G1438] a good [G2570] procure [G4046], and [G2532] much [G4183] confidence [G3954] in [G1722] trust '[G4102], in the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] Anointed [G5547] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
14: These [things] [G3778] to you [G1473] I write [G1125] hoping [G1679] to come [G2064] to [G4314] you [G1473] more quickly [G5032].
15: But if [G1437][G1161] I should be slowed [G1019], that [G2443] you should know [G1492] how [G4459] it is necessary [G1163] in [G1722] house [G3624] of God '[G2316] to behave , which [G3748] is assembly [G1577] of living God '[G2316][G2198], column [G4769] and [G2532] base [G1477] of the [G3588] truth .
16: And [G2532] confessedly [G3672] great [G3173] is of the [G3588] [G3588] piety [G2150] mystery [G3466]; God '[G2316] made manifest [G5319] in [G1722] flesh [G4561], justified [G1344] in [G1722] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151], seen [G3708] [by] word-conveyers (messengers) ', proclaimed [G2784] among [G1722] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], trusted '[G4100] in [G1722] arrangement '[G2889], taken up in [G1722] glory [G1391].
