1: Having put aside then [G3767] all [G3956] evil [G2549], and [G2532] all [G3956] treachery [G1388], and [G2532] stage-actings [G5272], and [G2532] envies [G5355], and [G2532] all [G3956] evil speakings [G2636],
2: as [G5613] newborn babes [G1025], the [G3588] rational [G3050] sincere milk [G1051] long after [G1971]! that [G2443] by [G1722] it [G1473] you should grow ;
3: if indeed [G1512] you tasted [G1089] that [G3754] is gracious [G5543] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
4: To [G4314] whom [G3739] coming forward [G4334] stone [G3037] as a living [G2198], by [G5259] men indeed [G3303] being rejected , but by [G3844][G1161] God '[G2316] chosen [G1588], valued [G1784];
5: also [G2532] yourselves [G1473], as [G5613] stones [G3037] living [G2198], are being built up [G3618] a house [G3624] of wind/spirit/breathing '[G4152], a priesthood [G2406] pure ', to offer of wind/spirit/breathing '[G4152] sacrifices [G2378], well-received [G2144] the [G3588] to God '[G2316] through [G1223] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547].

9: But you [G1473][G1161] race [G1085] [are] a chosen [G1588], a royal priesthood [G2406], tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] a pure ', a people [G2992] for [G1519] procurement [G4047]; so that [G3704] the [G3588] virtues you should publish [G1804] of the [G3588] [one] from out of [G1537] darkness [G4655] calling you [G1473][G2564] into [G1519] the [G3588] his wonderful [G2298][G1473] light [G5457].
10: the [ones] [G3588] at some time or other [G4218] not [G3756] a people [G2992], but now [G3568][G1161] [are] a people [G2992] of God '[G2316]; the [G3588] [ones] not [G3756] being shown compassion [G1653], but now [G3568][G1161] [are] shown compassion [G1653].
11: Beloved , I appeal to [you [G3870] as [G5613] sojourners [G3941] and [G2532] immigrants [G3927], to be at a distance from the [G3588] of flesh '[G4559] desires [G1939], which [G3748] soldier [G4754] against [G2596] the [G3588] soul [G5590];
12: the [G3588] behavior having your [G1473][G2192] good [G2570] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]; that [G2443] in [G1722] what [G3739] they speak ill [G2635] of you [G1473], as [G5613] ones doing evil [G2555], [that] from [G1537] the [G3588] good [G2570] works [G2041] having scrutinized [G2029], they should glorify [G1392] the [G3588] God '[G2316] in [G1722] day [G2250] of visitation [G1984].
13: Submit [G5293] then [G3767] to every [G3956] human institution [G2937] for the sake of [G1223] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]! whether [G1535] to king as [G5613] being superior [G5242];
14: or whether [G1535] to governors [G2232] as [G5613] by [G1223] him [G1473] being sent [G3992] for [G1519] punishment [G1557] indeed on [G3303] ones doing evil [G2555], and high praise [G1868][G1161] [on] ones beneficial .
15: For [G3754] so [G3779] is the [G3588] will [G2307] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], [by] doing good to halt [G5392] the [G3588] of the [G3588] foolish men ignorance ;
16: as [G5613] free [G1658], and [G2532] not [G3361] as [G5613] a covering [G1942] having [G2192] of the [G3588] evil [G2549] the [G3588] freedom [G1657], but as [G5613] bondmen [G1401] of God '[G2316].
17: Honor all [G3956][G5091]! the [G3588] brotherhood Love ! the [G3588] Fear God '[G2316][G5399]! the [G3588] king Honor [G5091]!
18: the [G3588] Domestic servants [G3610] -- being submitted [G5293] with [G1722] all [G3956] fear [G5401] to the [G3588] bosses [G1203], not [G3756] only [G3440] to the [G3588] good and [G2532] lenient [G1933], but also [G2532] to the [G3588] crooked [G4646].
19: For this [G3778][G1063] [is] favor [G5484], if [G1487] through [G1223] conscience [G4893] of God '[G2316] anyone endures [G5297][G5100] distress [G3077], suffering [G3958] unjustly .
20: For what [G4169][G1063] fame [G2811] if [G1487] sinning and [G2532] being buffeted [G2852] you endure [G5278]? But if [G1487] doing good and [G2532] suffering [G3958] you endure [G5278], this [G3778] [is] favorable [G5484] with [G3844] God '[G2316].
21: For this [G1519][G3778][G1063] you were called [G2564], for [G3754] also [G2532] Anointed "'[G5547] suffered [G3958] for [G5228] us [G1473], leaving behind to us [G1473][G5277] a pattern [G5261], that [G2443] you should follow after [G1872] the [G3588] his tracks [G2487][G1473];
22: who [G3739] sin not [G3756] did [G4160], nor [G3761] was there found [G2147] treachery [G1388] in [G1722] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of him [G1473];
23: who [G3739] being reviled [G3058] did not [G3756] return verbal abuse ; [when] suffering [G3958] did not [G3756] threaten ; but delivered [himself] up [G3860][G1161] to the [G3588] [one] judging [G2919] justly [G1346];
24: who [G3739] the [G3588] our sins [G1473] himself [G1473] bore in [G1722] the [G3588] his body [G4983][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] timber [G3586], that [G2443] the [G3588] to sins becoming dead , to the [G3588] righteousness [G1343] we should live [G2198]; of which [G3739] [by the [G3588] his stripe [G3468][G1473] you were healed [G2390].
25: For you were [G1063] as [G5613] sheep [G4263] wandering [G4105]; but are returned [G1994] now [G3568] unto [G1909] the [G3588] shepherd [G4166] and [G2532] overseer [G1985] of the [G3588] your souls [G5590][G1473].
