1: And [G2532] the [G3588] king David [was] an old man [G4245], advanced [G4260] in [G1722] days [G2250]. And [G2532] they put around [G4016] him [G1473] clothes [G2440], and [G2532] he was not [G3756] warmed [G2328].
2: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473] to him [G1473], Let them seek [G2212] for the [G3588] our boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king a young virgin [G3933], and [G2532] she will stand beside [G3936] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] will be warming him [G1473][G2282], and [G2532] she will recline [G2621] in [G1722] the [G3588] his bosom [G2859][G1473], and [G2532] will be heated [G2328] the [G3588] our boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king .
3: And [G2532] they sought [G2212] young woman a goodly [G2570] from [G1537] every [G3956] border [G3725] of Israel. And [G2532] they found [G2147] the [G3588] Abishag the [G3588] Shunammite, and [G2532] they brought [G5342] her [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] king .
4: And [G2532] the [G3588] young woman [was] goodly [G2570] to the [G3588] look [G1491], exceedingly [G4970], and [G2532] was warming [G2282] the [G3588] king . And [G2532] she ministered [G3008] to him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] king did not [G3756] know [G1097] her [G1473].
5: And [G2532] Adonijah son [G5207] of Haggith lifted up [G1869], saying [G3004], I [G1473] will reign . And [G2532] he appointed [G4160] to himself [G1473] chariots , and [G2532] horsemen [G2460], and [G2532] fifty [G4004] men running in front of [G1715] him [G1473].
6: And [G2532] did not [G3756] make a reproach [G2008] to him [G1473] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] at any time [G4455], saying [G2036], Why [is it [G5100] that [G3754] have you [G1473] done [G4160] thus [G3779]? And [G2532] he [G1473] [was] good [G2570] the [G3588] in appearance [G3799], exceedingly [G4970]. And [G2532] he [G1473] was born [G5088] after [G3694] Absalom.
7: And [G2532] were the [G3588] his communications [G3056][G1473] with [G3326] Joab the [G3588] son [G5207] of Zeruiah, and [G2532] with [G3326] Abiathar the [G3588] priest [G2409]. And [G2532] they helped [following] after [G3694] Adonijah.
8: And [G2532] Zadok the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] Benaiah son [G5207] of Jehoiada, and [G2532] Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396], and [G2532] Shimei, and [G2532] Rei, and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] being mighty [G1415] [to the [G3588] David were not [G3756] with [G3326] Adonijah.
9: And [G2532] Adonijah sacrificed sheep [G4263] and [G2532] calves and [G2532] lambs by [G3844] the [G3588] stone [G3037] the [G3588] Zoheleth, the [G3588] [one] being next to [G2192] the [G3588] spring [G4077] of the [G3588] En-rogel. And [G2532] he called [G2564] all [G3956] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] men of Judah, the [G3588] servants [G3816] of the [G3588] king .
10: But [G2532] Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396], and [G2532] the [G3588] Benaiah, and [G2532] the [G3588] mighty [ones [G1415], and [G2532] the [G3588] Solomon his brother [G1473] he did not [G3756] call [G2564].
11: And [G2532] Nathan said [G2036] to [G4314] Bath-sheba, mother [G3384] of Solomon, saying [G3004], Did you not [G3756] hear that [G3754] reigns Adonijah son [G5207] of Haggith], and [G2532]the the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] David does not [G3756] know [G1097].
12: And [G2532] now [G3568], come [G1204], I will advise [G4823] you [G1473] with advice , so that [G3704] you should preserve [G4982] the [G3588] your life [G5590][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] life [G5590] of Solomon the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473].
13: Come [G1204], enter [G1525] unto [G4314] the [G3588] king David. And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to [G4314] him [G1473], Have you not [G3780][G1473], O my boss [G2962][G1473], O king , sworn by an oath [G3660] [to the [G3588] your maidservant [G1399][G1473], saying [G3004] that [G3754], Solomon the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473], he will reign after [G3326] me [G1473], and [G2532] he [G1473] will sit down [G2523] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my throne [G2362][G1473]. Then [G2532] why [is it [G5100] that [G3754] Adonijah reigns ?
14: And [G2532] look [G2400], while [G2089] you [G1473] [are] speaking [G2980] there [G1563] with [G3326] the [G3588] king , that [G2532] I [G1473] will enter [G1525] after [G3326] you [G1473], and [G2532] I will fulfill [G4137] the [G3588] your words [G3056][G1473].
15: And [G2532] Bath-sheba entered [G1525] to [G4314] the [G3588] king in [G1519] the [G3588] inner chamber [G5009]. And [G2532] the [G3588] king [was] an old man [G4246], exceedingly [G4970]. And [G2532] Abishag the [G3588] Shunamite was ministering [G3008] to the [G3588] king .
16: And [G2532] Bath-sheba bowed [G2955], and [G2532] did obeisance [G4352] to the [G3588] king . And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king , What [G5100] is it to you [G1473]?
17: And [G2532] she said [G2036], O my boss [G2962][G1473], O king , you [G1473] swore by an oath [G3660] to [G1722] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] [to the [G3588] your maidservant [G1399][G1473], saying [G3004] that [G3754], Solomon the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473], he will reign after [G3326] me [G1473], and [G2532] he [G1473] will sit [G2521] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my throne [G2362][G1473].
18: And [G2532] now [G3568] look [G2400], Adonijah reigns ; and [G2532] you [G1473], O my boss [G2962][G1473], O king , do not [G3756] know [G1097].
19: And [G2532] he sacrificed calves [G3448] and [G2532] lambs and [G2532] sheep [G4263] in [G1519] multitude [G4128], and [G2532] he called [G2564] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] Abiathar the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] Joab the [G3588] ruler of for the [G3588]ce [G1411]; and [G2532] the [G3588] Solomon the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] he did not [G3756] call [G2564].
20: And [G2532] you [G1473], O my boss [G2962][G1473], O king , the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of all [G3956] Israel are towards [G4314] you [G1473] to report to them [G1473] who [G5100] will sit [G2521] upon [G1909] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king after [G3326] him [G1473].
21: And [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] sleeping [G2837] of the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473], that [G2532] I will be myself [G1473] and [G2532] Solomon the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473] as sinners .
22: And [G2532] look [G2400], while [G2089] she [G1473] spoke [G2980] with [G3326] the [G3588] king , that [G2532] Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396] entered [G1525].
23: And [G2532] it was announced to the [G3588] king , saying [G3004], look [G2400], Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396]. And [G2532] he entered [G1525] in [G2596] front [G4383] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] the [G3588] king upon [G1909] his face [G4383][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
24: And [G2532] Nathan said [G2036], O my boss [G2962][G1473], O king , have you said [G1473][G2046], Adonijah will reign after [G3326] me [G1473], and [G2532] he [G1473] will sit [G2521] upon [G1909] my throne [G2362][G1473]?
25: For [G3754] he went down [G2597] today [G4594] and [G2532] sacrificed calves [G3448] and [G2532] lambs and [G2532] sheep [G4263] in [G1519] multitude [G4128], and [G2532] called [G2564] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] the [G3588] rulers of for the [G3588]ce [G1411], and [G2532] Abiathar the [G3588] priest [G2409]; and [G2532] look [G2400], they are eating [G2068] and [G2532] drinking [G4095] before [G1799] him [G1473], and [G2532] they said [G2036], Let live [G2198] the [G3588] king Adonijah]!
26: And [G2532] me [G1473] the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473], and [G2532] Zadok the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] Benaiah son [G5207] of Jehoiada, and [G2532] Solomon the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] he did not [G3756] call [G2564].
27: If [G1487] through [G1223] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king has taken place [G1096] the [G3588] this thing [G4487][G3778], then [G2532] you did not [G3756] make known [G1107] [to the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] who [G5100] will sit [G2521] upon [G1909] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king after [G3326] him [G1473].
28: And [G2532] answered the [G3588] king David], and [G2532] said [G2036], Call [G2564] to me [G1473] the [G3588] Bath-sheba! And [G2532] she entered [G1525] before [G1799] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] stood [G2476] before [G1799] him [G1473].
29: And [G2532] swore by an oath [G3660] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] said [G2036], As BOSS lives [G2198][G2962], who [G3739] ransomed [G3084] the [G3588] soul [G5590] of me [G1473] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] affliction [G2347],
30: that [G3754] as [G2531] I swore by an oath [G3660] to you [G1473] according to [G2596] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, saying [G3004] that [G3754], Solomon the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473] will reign after [G3326] me [G1473], and [G2532] he [G1473] will sit [G2521] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my throne [G2362][G1473] instead of me [G1473]; that [G3754] thus [G3779] I will do [G4160] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
31: And [G2532] Bath-sheba bowed [G2955] upon [G1909] [her] face [G4383] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] did obeisance [G4352] to the [G3588] king , and [G2532] said [G2036], Let live [G2198] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king David] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `!
32: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king David], Call [G2564] to me [G1473] Zadok the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396], and [G2532] Benaiah son [G5207] of Jehoiada! And [G2532] they entered [G1525] before [G1799] the [G3588] king .
33: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king to them [G1473], Take [G2983] with [G3326] you [G1473] the [G3588] servants [G3816] of the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473], and [G2532] set [G1913] Solomon the [G3588] my son [G5207][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] mule the [G3588] my [G1699], and [G2532] lead [G2609] him [G1473] unto [G1519] the [G3588] Gihon!
34: And [G2532] let anoint [G5548] him [G1473] 10> there [G1563] Zadok the [G3588] priest [G2409] and [G2532] Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396] for [G1519] king over [G1909] Israel! And [G2532] trump [G4537] horn ! And [G2532] you will say [G2046], Let live [G2198] the [G3588] king Solomon]!
35: And [G2532] you will go up after [G3694] him [G1473]. And [G2532] he will enter [G1525], and [G2532] he will sit [G2521] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my throne [G2362][G1473], and [G2532] he [G1473] will reign instead of me [G1473]. And [G2532] to him [G1473] I [G1473] gave charge [G1781] the [G3588] to be for [G1519] leader [G2233] over [G1909] Israel and [G2532] over [G1909] Judah.
36: And [G2532] responded Benaiah son [G5207] of Jehoiada] to the [G3588] king , and [G2532] said [G2036], May it be [G1096] so [G3779]. May confirm [it [G4104] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king .
37: As [G2531] BOSS was [G2962] with [G3326] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king , so [G3779] may it be with [G3326] Solomon, and [G2532] to magnify [G3170] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of him [G1473] above [G5228] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king David.
38: And [G2532] went down [G2597] Zadok the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396], and [G2532] Benaiah son [G5207] of Jehoiada, and [G2532] the [G3588] Cherethite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Pelethite. And [G2532] they sat [G1940] the [G3588] Solomon upon [G1909] the [G3588] mule of the [G3588] king David, and [G2532] they took him [G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] Gihon.
39: And [G2532] took [G2983] Zadok the [G3588] priest [G2409] the [G3588] horn [G2768] of the [G3588] oil [G1637] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] tent [G4638], and [G2532] anointed [G5548] the [G3588] Solomon, and [G2532] trumped [G4537] the [G3588] horn . And [G2532] said [G2036] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992], Let live [G2198] the [G3588] king Solomon]!
40: And [G2532] went up all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] after [G3694] him [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] joined in a dance by [G1722] companies of dancers [G5525], and [G2532] making glad [G2165] gladness [G2167] in great [G3173]. And [G2532] tore [G4486] the [G3588] land '[G1093] with [G1722] the [G3588] sound [G5456] of them [G1473].
41: And [G2532] Adonijah heard , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] invited ones [G2822][G1473] with [G3326] him [G1473]; and [G2532] they [G1473] completed [G4931] eating [G2068]. And [G2532] Joab heard the [G3588] sound [G5456] of the [G3588] horn , and [G2532] said [G2036], What [G5100] [is] the [G3588] sound [G5456] of the [G3588] city [G4172] sounding [G2278]?
42: While [G2089] he [G1473] was speaking [G2980], that [G2532] look [G2400], Jonathan son [G5207] of Abiathar the [G3588] priest [G2409] came in [G2064]. And [G2532] Adonijah said [G2036], Enter [G1525], for [G3754] a man of power [G1411] you are [G1473], and [G2532] [for] good you good-word-convey '[G2097]!
43: And [G2532] Jonathan answered and [G2532] said [G2036] [to the [G3588] Adonijah, And [G2532] by all means the the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] the [G3588] king David established Solomon to reign the [G3588].
44: And [G2532] sent with [G3326] him [G1473] the [G3588] king the [G3588] Zadok the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396], and [G2532] Benaiah the [G3588] son [G5207] of Jehoiada, and [G2532] the [G3588] Cherethite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Pelethite. And [G2532] they sat [G1913] him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] mule of the [G3588] king .
45: And [G2532] anointed [G5548] him [G1473] Zadok the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] Nathan the [G3588] prophet [G4396] as [G1519] king at [G1722] the [G3588] Gihon. And [G2532] they went up from there [G1564] making glad [G2165]. And [G2532] sounded [G2278] the [G3588] city [G4172] this [G3778] the [G3588] sound [G5456] which [G3739] you heard .
46: And [G2532] Solomon is sat down [G2523] upon [G1909] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of the [G3588] government '.
47: And [G2532] also [G1065] came [G2064] the [G3588] servants [G1401] of the [G3588] king to bless [G2127]the the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] the [G3588] king David, saying [G3004], make good the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473] Solomon above [G5228] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473], and [G2532] magnify [G3170] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of him [G1473] above [G5228] the [G3588] your throne [G2362][G1473]! And [G2532] did obeisance [G4352] the [G3588] king upon [G1909] the [G3588] his bed [G2845][G1473].
48: And [G2532] indeed [G1065] thus [G3779] said [G2036] the [G3588] king , Blessed [is [G2128] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, who [G3739] gave [G1325] today [G4594] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] my seed [G4690][G1473] one sitting [G2521] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my throne [G2362][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] my eyes [G3788][G1473] see [it .
49: And [G2532] were startled [G1839] and [G2532] rose up [G1817] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] called [G2822] by [G5259] the [G3588] Adonijah], and [G2532] departed each [G1538] unto [G1519] the [G3588] his way [G3598][G1473].
50: And [G2532] Adonijah feared [G5399] from face [G4383] of Solomon, and [G2532] he rose up and [G2532] went forth , and [G2532] took hold of [G1949] of the [G3588] horns [G2768] of the [G3588] altar [G2379].
51: And [G2532] it was announced the [G3588] to Solomon, saying [G3004], look [G2400], Adonijah fears [G5399] the [G3588] king Solomon, and [G2532] he takes hold [G2722] of the [G3588] horns [G2768] of the [G3588] altar [G2379], saying [G3004], Let swear by an oath [G3660] to me [G1473] today [G4594] the [G3588] king Solomon] to the [G3588] not [G3361] put to death [G2289] the [G3588] his servant [G1401][G1473] by [G1722] broadsword [G4501].
52: And [G2532] Solomon said [G2036], If [G1437] he should be [G1096] a [G1519] son [G5207] of power [G1411], in no way [G3756][G3361] should there fall [G4098] from the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473] a hair [G2359] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. But if [G1437][G1161] evil [G2549] should be found [G2147] in [G1722] him [G1473], he will be put to death [G2289].
53: And [G2532] sent the [G3588] king Solomon], and [G2532] brought [G2702] him [G1473] from on top of the [G3588] altar [G2379]. And [G2532] he entered [G1525] and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] the [G3588] king Solomon. And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Solomon], Go [G4198] unto [G1519] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473]!
