1 Chronicles Chapter 22 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] David said [G2036], This [G3778] is the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] this [is [G3778] the [G3588] altar [G2379] for [G1519] whole burnt-offering [to the [G3588] Israel.
2: And [G2532] David said [G2036] the [G3588] to gather together [G4863] all [G3956] for the [G3588]eigners [G4339] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Israel. And [G2532] he placed [G2525] quarriers to quarry [G2998] stones [G3037] planed the [G3588] to build [G3618] a house [G3624] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
3: And [G2532] iron [G4604] much [G4183] for [G1519] the [G3588] nails [G2247] of the [G3588] doorways , and [G2532] of the [G3588] gates [G4439], and [G2532] of the [G3588] hinges , David prepared [G2090]; and [G2532] brass [G5475] in [G1519] multitude [G4128] -- no [G3756] there was [counting its] weight .
4: And [G2532] [for the] wood [G3586] of cedars no [G3756] there was number ; for [G3754] brought [G5342] the [G3588] Sidonians and [G2532] the [G3588] Tyrians] wood [G3586] of cedars in [G1519] multitude [G4128] [to the [G3588] David.
5: And [G2532] David said [G2036], Solomon the [G3588] my son [G5207][G1473] boy [G3808] [is] a tender , and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] the [G3588] to be built [G3618] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] [must be] to magnify [G3170] upward , for [G1519] a name [G3686] and [G2532] for [G1519] glory [G1391] in [G1519] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. I will prepare [G2090] for it [G1473]. And [G2532] David prepared [for it [G2090] in [G1519] multitude [G4128] before [G1715] the [G3588] his decease [G5054][G1473].
6: And [G2532] he called [G2564] Solomon the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], and [G2532] gave charge [G1781] to him [G1473] the [G3588] to build [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of Israel.
7: And [G2532] David said [G2036], Solomon, My child [G5043][G1473], it was [G1096] upon [G1909] soul [G5590] of me [G1473] the [G3588] to build [G3618] a house [G3624] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473].
8: And [G2532] came [G1096] unto [G1909] me [G1473] word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962], saying [G3004], blood in [G1519] multitude [G4128] You poured out [G1632], and [G2532] wars [G4171] great [G3173] you made [G4160]; you will not build [G3756][G3618] a house [G3624] [to the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473], for [G3754] blood much [G4183] you poured out [G1632] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] before [G1726] me [G1473].
9: look [G2400], a son [G5207] is born [G5088] to you [G1473], this one [G3778] will be a man of rest ; and [G2532] I will rest him [G1473] from all [G3956] the [G3588] his enemies [G2190][G1473] round about [G2943]. For [G3754] Solomon [is] name [G3686] of him [G1473], and [G2532] peace [G1515] and [G2532] rest [G2271] I will appoint [G1325] over [G1909] Israel in [G1722] the [G3588] his days [G2250][G1473].
10: This one [G3778] will build [G3618] a house [G3624] [to the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473], and [G2532] this one [G3778] will be to me [G1473] as [G1519] a son [G5207], and I [G2504] will be to him [G1473] for [G1519] father [G3962], and [G2532] I will prepare [G2090] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of the [G3588] his government '[G1473] in [G1722] Israel unto [G2193] age (term) `.
11: And [G2532] now [G3568], O my son [G5207][G1473], may be with [G3326] you [G1473] Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] you will prosper [G2720], and [G2532] will build [G3618] a house [G3624] [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], as [G5613] he said [G2980] concerning [G4012] you [G1473].
12: Only [G4133] may give [G1325] to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] wisdom [G4678] and [G2532] understanding [G4907], and [G2532] strengthen [G2729] you [G1473] over [G1909] Israel, the [G3588] to guard [G5442] and [G2532] the [G3588] to observe [G4160] the [G3588] law [G3551] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473].
13: Then [G5119] the way will prosper [G2137], if [G1437] you should guard [G5442] the [G3588] to observe [G4160] the [G3588] orders and [G2532] the [G3588] judgments [G2917] which [G3739] BOSS gave charge [G1781][G2962] [to the [G3588] Moses for [G1909] the [G3588] Israel. Be manly and [G2532] be strong [G2480]! [Do] not [G3361] fear [G5399] nor [G3366] be timid [G1168]!
14: And [G2532] look [G2400], I [G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588] my poorness [G4432][G1473] prepared [G2090] for [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] -- gold [G5553] talents [G5007] of a hundred [G1540] thousand [G5505], and [G2532] silver of talents [G5007] of a thousand [G5507] thousand [G5505], and [G2532] brass [G5475], and [G2532] iron [G4604] of which [G3739] there is no [G3756] [counting the] weight , for [G3754] in [G1519] multitude [G4128] it is . And [G2532] wood [G3586] and [G2532] stones [G3037] I prepared [G2090]. And [G2532] you add [G4369] unto [G1909] these [things] [G3778]!
15: And [G2532] with [G3326] you [G1473] 3in [G1519] 4multitude [G4128] 1doing [G4160] works [G2041] [are] craftsmen [G5079], quarriers of stones [G3037], and [G2532] fabricators [G5045] of wood [G3586], and [G2532] every [G3956] wise one [G4680] for [G1722] every [G3956] work [G2041];
16: in [G1722] gold [G5553] and [G2532] silver , in [G1722] brass [G5475] and [G2532] in [G1722] iron [G4604] in which [G3739] [there] is no [G3756] number . Rise up and [G2532] act [G4160] and [G2532] Boss '[G2962] [be] with [G3326] you [G1473]!
17: And [G2532] David gave charge [G1781] to all [G3956] the [G3588] rulers of Israel to assist the [G3588] Solomon son [G5207] of him [G1473], saying [G3004],
18: Is not [G3780] Boss '[G2962] with [G3326] you [G1473]? And [G2532] he will give you rest [G1473] round about [G2943], for [G3754] he delivered up [G3860] into [G1722] my hand [G5495][G1473] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] [is] submitted [G5293] the [G3588] land '[G1093] before [G1726] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] before [G1726] his people [G2992][G1473].
19: Now [G3568] give [G1325] the [G3588] your hearts [G2588][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your souls [G5590][G1473] the [G3588] to seek [G2212] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473]! And [G2532] arise and [G2532] build [G3618] the [G3588] sanctuary to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], [to the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473]! the [G3588] to carry in [G1533] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] items [G4632] the [G3588] pure ' the [G3588] of God '[G2316], into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] the [G3588] being built [G3618] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962].
